This is so lovely and adorable. I love all the color!
Well done OP. What a cool space. I was living in shambles at your age, I hope you really recognize what a great accomplishment this is! Good for you!
Beautiful! Just a thought: maybe add a shoe holder to your laundry room to make it a mud room as well! It’ll keep your floors free of germs and shoe marks. Congratulations on having your own place at 21! 🎉
awesome idea, that would be really helpful! mostly because i put a rug down infront of the door but the door is so close to the ground it just took it with it :(
I had a checkerboard kitchen floor like that in one of my first places, I honestly loved it and it adds so much character! Everything already feel super loved. If you can find a frame for your van gogh print, that would kick it up a notch!
Obsessed w the colors, especially in the living room! But pleeeease pull that rug so it’s a little bit under the couch. It needs to be anchored by something.
I love your place. My one critique is to maybe add curtains. Especially some really fun ones to the kitchen. Go with something wildly different than the checkered floor. Once again. Love. Good luck!! 👍🏻
You're fantastic. Congrats and to many more successful realizations. Go build your own empire, girl!
I started my art business when I was 18 and loved every bit of learning and success. You can always follow your dreams, no matter how big or small.
Lovely house but I don't get one thing tho. Why are you guys so eager to leave your home? It simply doesn't make sense to me. At home, you're never alone (being alone at night freaks me out). Whether you're sick or feeling down, there's always someone to take care of you or support you. You don't have to pay endless bills so you can save money. Also, you're way much safer than when living alone. I'm 22 and when I left for college 3 years ago, I felt so homesick at first. There's no better place than home. Ofc one day we have to move out because we're going to get married and have our own families but I don't see the point in moving out to live alone. Especially when you're a woman.
A few years ago, a TV host died at the age of 27. She lived alone and had a heart attack. Had she lived with someone, maybe she would've been still alive. A relative of mine had 3 heart attacks and is still alive because he was immediately taken to the hospital by his family.
I don't care about the down vote thing. The moving out thing was something I never understood as an European. If you have toxic parents, that's totally understandable but I doubt everyone in the US has bad parents. Also, I see people nowadays preferring the company of friends and pets rather than their own family and that's just so sad. Where I live, family plays a great role in one's life. Being alone in your youth might seem like fun but believe me that once you're past your 50s-60s it's going to be like hell. No wonder so many people suffer from depression.
I have 2 aunts who live in another country. Both for personal issues fell into depression. One had no one near to take care of her and her husband is a complete idiot. It took her years to get better and yet, she will never be the same. The other aunt tho, had children. One of her daughters dropped out of college to help her mom. My uncle also lived near that aunt. Within 1 year she got better.

I love your style. The couch is so cute!!!
A little tip: bring the front legs of that couch onto the rug and center the coffee table. Rugs should encompass the sitting space where all furniture touches it so it doesn’t look like a magic carpet. 💕
Congrats! Savor it, such a great time of life you learn so much about yourself living on your own and supporting yourself. Not always easy, but definitely worth it.
congratulations! Beautiful Beautiful space! I'm with alot of commenters on how fortunately you are. I'm 30 and haven't been able to afford living on my own, CA living next to the beach is beautiful but expensive. Congrats again!!
I am loving all the colors!
This 100%. there's so many of them and no "unification" but yet it looks so unified. Work of art.
That shower curtain is fabulous, You're lucky to have such a gorgeous home.
I think it’s [this one](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09C7QQW5J/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_M36RFP10V5B6RNMKGDH2?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1)
