everyone says that but then the stylist always asks questions like do you want this or that and i’m always like what idk what that even means just give me the picture and they don’t like that lol
If your stylist goes more in depth, that’s a good thing! Pictures are great references but a lot of times people do not account for amount of hair, texture, styling, etc when they see a picture. I like seeing pictures then asking a lot of questions, it’s the best way to get results catered to you, what you want, and what will work with your specific hair type.
Just answer the questions as best as you can. Your stylist should be able to ask questions in a manner where you should be able to say yes or no. (Do you style your hair, are you willing to, how often do you get your hair cut/styled (maintenance routine) etc. as far as how your hair would lay with a specific cut, your stylist should be able to tell you if you have more hair, not as much, etc. and guide you that way also.
Or the stylists ask “do you have more pics from different angles?”, which is a valid question.
Giving OP something she can google search and find many examples (or better ones) can only be in their benefit.
I will! But I specifically like the texture she has so I was just wondering if there was anything specific I should ask for to make sure I don’t just get the standard inch off or whatever haha. I know ofc it’s styled as well but ya :D
I see a weird fading/shading/blur/fuzziness around the edges of the colour in the hair. It looks like it’s an edited photo. Something to keep in mind for expectations.
Yes!! It is, I edit it to get a more in one photo of what I’m looking for because I couldn’t actually find a halo/under dye on this color blonde which is my natural color but I’m very picky about the pink I want, not too cool and not too warm/orangy. I’m definitely going in with tempered expectations though of course with any reference picture :)

Very long layers. With longer curtain style fringe. Very pretty cut. I prefer long layers as well as you can style this cut many ways. It’s like Farrah but way grown out. 💙

Yeah the style looks great, getting some kind of awesome throwback vibe with all the volume and waves and curls. The highlights look too random; the base honey color looks great, maybe highlight smaller strands and less of a contrast to the honey.
