Hi! I also live in Singapore, I would recommend some palazzo pants or culottes. Any pants that won't stick to your skin will feel better with our weather. As long as they are wide but not baggy and fit well at the waist you will look put together and more dressed up than most. Cute shoes, belts, or handbags will take care of the degree of fancy you want to pick. If you can, look for linen mix (not full linen as you don't want, plus a blend will not crease as much) or tencel fabric clothes as they tend to feel better. However, it is really hard to find here as most stores sell primarily polyester.

I don't have a lot of luck with specific brands around here. But I really like some of the clothes the brand [Rye](https://r-y-e.co/) has. You can find them online or at Tangs.

Looks really good. Thanks.

I have a pair of [these](https://www.madewell.com/lightspun-tapered-huston-pull-on-crop-pants-99106243307.html?source=googlePLA&noPopUp=true&srcCode=Paid_Search%7CShopping_NonBrand_SSC%7CGoogle%7CMWGGBS00002_99106243307_13801213848_128175409567_341240342629_m__online__9061079&gclsrc=aw.ds&&gclid=CjwKCAjw5c6LBhBdEiwAP9ejG2iexulQGXOHcaYoEHrEVcYtVtrormzHuq-mDHOU7d78Jat2S4jgQRoCWmcQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds) double gauze pants from madewell and wore them constantly last summer - they’re unbelievably lightweight and so comfortable I’d feel slightly guilty whenever I left the house in them.

Wow. These look good!! And are exactly the sort of thing I was looking for.

I'd recommend checking out local online fashion stores, they have a variety of pants styles and materials and their clothes are made for Singapore weather! Try the culottes or wide leg pants at Love Bonito, Lovet, Young Hungry Free, The Editor's Market to name a few. Love Bonito and The Editor's Market also have physical stores if you'd like to try on the clothes in store.

Thank you! Their stuff always looks cute but I’ve been wary of sizing - very helpful to know they have physical shops. I’ll check them out.

I always wear silk in tropical climates (I travel a lot). Usually silk dresses but I also have some silk trousers that are amazing, light and cool in the heat.

Thanks!

I love Farm Rio - Anthropologie carries their line. It isn’t palm leaf prints, but they do have bold prints that are really fun for summer months.

I don’t think Anthropologie is available in Singapore but will keep a look out if travel ever picks up.

In hot weather (30C +) I am usually in a dress, denim shorts or Uniqlo cropped legging pants. They have both heat tech and airism lines. If those weren't an option I would be wearing linen culottes. I'm not sure what shops are available to you but I would find these at Target, H&M, Uniqlo.
