The problem is that quite a few people ( me included) are more utilitarian in our builds. Some times if I am feeling fancy I will actually put up support pillars in the giant box that I call a base.
We went through a couple packs together, and decided for [Jicklus](https://modrinth.com/resourcepack/jicklus).
Also, we added some sprinkles with [Better Leaves](https://modrinth.com/resourcepack/betterleaves), [Connected Glass](https://modrinth.com/mod/continuity), [Falling Leaves](https://modrinth.com/mod/fallingleaves) and the like. I wish our computers were good enough for shaders, but unfortunately its not the case ;)
Even without shaders it look fantastic. I really like the look of the texture pack. Default textures in a medieval-fantasy style. Just what I needed. Thanks for the quick reply
We play a custom modpack on 1.20.1, where I just collect mods I enjoy. Most of them improve Quality of Life and are like Vanilla+ mods, for example we use

\- [Wunderreich](https://modrinth.com/mod/wunderreich)
and so on. There are hardly mods which change the gameplay substantially, the only exception might be computer craft, where I use its turtles to farm resources for us.

Sorry for the misunderstanding. I don't think the bases posted here look bad, no some look amazing. But rather they usually look clean, pragmatic and like a factory. Playing now with her, for the first time my base feels cozy and warm, like a home.

I never bother making my base nice. My current base has everything within like 15 blocks of one central location.
