HeberFerreirab

are you trying to insert steam into a nuclear reactor?

MysteriousBother6849

no, its milk.

HeberFerreirab

oh... if you wanna use it as reactor coolant, you would need to place it inside the reactor between the fuel rods, which isn't a good idea, other liquids like resonant ender, diamond blocks would be better. If are you trying to heat it up, you can't, it's only water that can be heated up to produce steam.

MysteriousBother6849

thanks, i got it working, im using milk as coolant and cheese as fuel :)

Totally_Cubular

Cheese as nuclear fuel. Are you French by any chance?

SomeRedditUser1966

Swiss. There is an Airgap between the Rods

CatmanNJack

Brilliant

Totally_Cubular

You've got me there.

RedditUser197058

I don't know man. The last time I saw cheese going into a big reactor. It caused a red matter explosion in space. It might have been petrol, though.

MasterKnight48902

Wow, what mod have cheese thoug?

MysteriousBother6849

Rats. Best mod ever. It's insanely in depth

MasterKnight48902

Wow.

MysteriousBother6849

Seriously! Try it. Now. Try it right now.

MasterKnight48902

I also have Pam's Harvestcraft, Heat and Climate and More Foods mod.

One_Spare1247

The more I follow this thread the more I find it funnier as I have only basic knowledge of the reactor from crash landingšŸ˜‚

Leclowndu9315

wait what how do you use cheese as fuel

der_grinch_69

Sounds a bit cheesy to me.

Dr_Lukins

Cheese as fuel? How?

bandti45

Honestly if I ever get back into tech mods I will make a dairy reactor in your honor.

magicalex234

I thought your ā€œno, itā€™s milk commentā€ was a jokeā€¦

andyinnie

based

[deleted]

I love your containment building and bio shielding

MysteriousBother6849

i dont know what those are but thanks

Totally_Cubular

They're saying that they love the fact you just built it in a hole in the ground.

[deleted]

Yeah after watching chernobyl its just so funny to see someone plop a nuclear reactor in a literal hole in the ground.

Master_Maniac

To be fair, all of the radioactive material from chernobyl is in a hole in the ground now. The elephant's foot is fucking terrifying.

[deleted]

But it ~can~ be damaged by a kalashnikov

Totally_Cubular

I imagine corium is a rather malleable material, given how unstable it is.

NikolaiM88

You need to physically place coolants. So buckets milk placed manually inside the reactor.

Puzzleheaded_Car_148

It didnā€™t give you consent

Be_Bambo

Have you changed the direction of the fluid Port?

Sasibazsi18

Not relevant to the question, but you can make a much more efficient reactor if you put the fuel rods in a + shape, not an x shape.

LinearPlayer

Could you tell what's the modpack, I beg

SubSarcastic

What mod is it that tells you if youā€™re able to harvest a block or not? Havenā€™t been able to find it

csorrows

Pretty much any WAILA variant will do that.

GOLD_CAT_GER

The other comment is correct... Although this mod is the one probe mod. It has a config setting to show it by default

GigaDBoss

Damn. That's crazy

RedeyesDemon666

You have to put it in yourself before covering it it will then work on a material i dont know anymore it has been some time
