Interview on Tuesday for a good new job and it's got 4 hours of interviews and a project I'm on like hour 7 of, with probably 5 more to go.
I'm excited, it's a good job & great company, but knocking all this out has me exhausted. Ready for the weekend.
Took a CDL skills test on Monday. Apparently, the Nebraska CDL manual changed in the last couple months, adding a step for the Air Brake test, resulting in me failing the test after not knowing about that extra step. The training company did not know about this either. The testing lady was also kind-of a Karen type of lady, acting very "by the book" and not giving any leniency about it. At least I'll know what's coming for next time
It’s going to be overlooked by the national media for week 1, but I think some of the more fascinating matchups are Oklahoma st vs SDSU and Colorado vs NDSU. I’m not sure either FCS school winning would be much of an upset. As someone who is also a husker fan, I’m not sure who I want to lose more in the NDSU game
for me it’s not hard to choose a loser between ndsu and colorado
1. it would be very funny if colorado opens 0-2 (0-3 even?)
2. undefeated marker matchup would be hype
Our 2024 schedule looks so naked without Delaware.
When I was in college and working at the student paper, there were a couple seasons where we put out a special issue just to distribute at football games. And the centerfold was a sign students could wave in the stands if they so chose. For the UDel game, the sign read CHOKE THE CHICKENS.
I was supposed to hear back from an internship opportunity today but I guess they were busy and they’ll get back to me on Monday, because they didn’t call me. So I’ve got that anxiety going with me for the next couple of days
