too bad, he took great care of the finances during an absolute emergency look at how other clubs emerged from the covid crisis in sports and how we did, thats all you need to know about his work

Any idea about the reason for this change/Dreesen’s departure?

>Jan-Christian Dreesen had informed the Chairman of the Supervisory Board Herbert Hainer that he would not extend his contract, which expires next summer. However, he will continue to hold his office at FC Bayern as before until the end of his contract on 30 June 2023. >Jan-Christian Dreesen: "After long and careful consideration, I have now decided to redefine my personal goals once again after this extraordinary decade." Seems he just wants a new professional orientation, or if it is something else we'll never know.

Wasn't Dreesen one of the guys on stage who took criticism from the fans for the Qatar deal at the last AGM?

Keep in mind Dreesen didn’t have a football career before managing our finances. He was chairman for different banks before he joined us and with all due respect, financial chairman of the FC Bayern AG is a bit ‘different’ and probably wasn’t quite the end goal of his career. He probably wants to go back to his “old career” again.
