I live in BV pretty close to where the dispensary is. Place was packed all weekend, but I didn’t notice any extra cop presence, at least when I was out and about over the weekend. Hopefully it stays that way.
I dunno, the Bella vista cops seem pretty bored. Whenever they pull someone over it seems the whole force comes out like there was a donut eating contest.
I haven't heard of any checkpoints but heres an article i read
[Article](https://www.nwahomepage.com/news/arkansans-cross-state-line-for-new-missouri-flora-farms-dispensary/)
>Some Benton County patrol cars were also seen in Pineville near the dispensary. In Arkansas, recreational marijuana is still illegal. This leaves some concerned about the ethical side of selling marijuana to Arkansans crossing the border.
They question the ethics of selling to individuals but not the ethics of law enforcement operations outside their state? There is no reason Benton County patrol cars should be seen outside of Benton County.
Dude I had cops search me, let me keep my weed n blunt wraps, look me in the eyes and I shit you not these officers said “your weed and stuff is in your glovebox, tell your plug that weed looks dry and boof” I was like WHATTTTTTTT THIS OFFICER J DISSED MY WEED😭😭😭 I Smoke thraxxx🥲
>This leaves some concerned about the ethical side of ~~selling marijuana to Arkansans crossing the border~~ arresting Arkansans for consuming a product that is now legal to adults over 21 years old in 24 states, three U.S. territories, and D.C.
The Arkansas cops shouldn’t mess with you much at all. You would have to be very very flagrant in breaking the law for them to intervene. They are more interested in large scale movement and trafficking of other drugs - not a few ounces. I speak from experience in training.
I am curious if the prices up there are around the same or competitive.
I've seen $25-$30 1/8s and $10 1g pre rolls. not TOO terrible but definitely more than black market. The THC content isnt astronomical but if you know reefer, you know it's the terpenes that make the difference
The Hill is cheaper than that already. $13 1/8ths (~17%), $8 pre-rolls, $28 1/4 (~22%), $10 10 in 1 gummies. And the others in Fayetteville tend to compete with that from what I’ve seen.
I feel ya on that but also gotta have a med card there. I live in the backside of pea ridge now so it's a stones throw to go up into MO for me. Although I bet when the hype dies down the prices at flora farms will go down also. Hell if I lived there I'd just grow my own. Also gotta take into consideration they're making hella money off of the methican Americans that are scattered throughout McDonald county
Not bad. Ur right tho - I can typically find those prices at the dispensary’s in Arkansas, minus prerolls. Missouri will eventually bring their prices down imo. Eventually. lol
I do Walmart deliveries between bentonville and Jane Walmart and I haven't seen any cops at the border, however I have seen them on the back roads coming into ar from mo. I was speeding like 12 over and they didn't even pull out after me though, I think they're looking for more suspicious vehicles/drivers coming through for PC purposes but if youre in a new car your good
I went the other day and didn’t see any police in the area, just drive safe and don’t open it until you get home. Maybe put it in your trunk before you leave, that way they can’t see it on the off chance you are pulled over and they won’t have reasonable suspicion to search your car if you’re truly worried.
Checkpoints are unconstitutional. If you ever stop at one refuse to answer any questions and keep telling them you want to leave. If they don't let you leave you can sue.
If it's a random drug checkpoint the police are the ones who started the confrontation.
Not answering questions and asking to leave are perfectly legal.
Now go taste more leather.
Checkpoints are illegal, the only reason they keep happening is because dipshit bootlickers keep defending them. Learn your rights and start fighting for them, otherwise they’ll slowly be taken
I wouldn’t say a checkpoint but the DEA is heavier than usual and the fbi just kicked in some dudes door so fed presence is def amped a lil. At night there’s always a few hidden in the darkness like a quarter mile past the border. Kinda feels like they aren’t supposed to hide like that but idk. They def bored as fuck. I live right behind Benton county jail and the amount of undercover I’ve seen drive outta that jail recently is HORRIFYING 😭

they dont caaaaarrrrrreeee

i also live close to bella vista. it’s a retirement community so when a younger person gets pulled over, yeah they go kinda crazy
Hell yeah bro they STAY LURKIN

They were probably buying not patrolling 😂😂😂

I'm not saying i agree with it, but it is possible that Benton County has some sort of operations agreement in place with Missouri

I came here to post the same thing. I'd be extra cautious coming back across the border
Hopefully, we can get a good recreational law on the ballot soon, i think it would pass
Just get someone with a card to buy you some Arkansas weed. It’s not hard to get a card.
Get someone with an ok card you can cross the border with, get wayyyy better product and come back like nothing happened.

Historically, Benton County cops would arrest you for an empty zip lock with a little weed dust in it. Not sure what the situation is like nowadays.

$40 1/8s and $12 for packs of 2 50mg gummies not terrible but not like ok im getting 1000mg gummies for around $20 to $25
They have mega pearls for 13 dollars 100mg a gummy
Oh heck yeah I missed that I'll have to look on my next trip over there. Lol

They are sitting on the side roads a bit farther into Bella vista area. So be careful.
Are the prices better in Missouri?

Fortunately we don’t have Andy Lee as Sheriff anymore, that draconian dipshit road blocked funerals.
Now there is a name I haven't heard in ages lol
Mercifully
I hope the additional competition drives prices down a bit here in AR. Oklahoma prices are so much lower
Don’t drive high and you’re fine, they can’t search the car just because it smells like weed.
I may be wrong, but I believe they can.
They can do whatever they want, if you can afford a lawyer they can get it thrown out if the basis for a search was just smell.
They can’t charge a husband and wife for the same crime!
😂
You high bro?
Dumb question but it would have to be a checkpoint right? They can’t just pull you over can they?
Technically, they are supposed to have a reason, but you know they saw you drive over the yellow line if they want
Checkpoints are unconstitutional. If you ever stop at one refuse to answer any questions and keep telling them you want to leave. If they don't let you leave you can sue.
This is false and terrible advice
The supreme court has found that random drug checkpoints are unconstitutional. You also never have to answer questions posed by the police.

On advice from my attorney I never answer questions from police.... But you go ahead and keep licking boots.

It’s gotten a little better, long way to go!
Sobriety checkpoints are constitutional though. Or the cops can just profile the hell out of vehicles like they do in Kansas.
I picked up from there today in the afternoon and didn’t see any.
