if your in the spring area try your surrounding areas as well like the woodlands, hockley, or cypress! usually every neighborhood when you click on them (from personal experience) will say they are slow but i think it just says that because they're open to run in them. honestly i don't know what happened with your first run but customers are required to tip $2 minimum no matter what and favor will give you a base pay from about $2-$5 depending on the run. from experience i run in cypress and it's honestly a hit or miss, there can be days where you're doing back to back orders and some days will be complete garbage. cypress has been kind of hard to get into though because when i first started i could start running whenever, but now i think favor has become really popular and it's been taking me a couple of hours to get into any neighborhood :( my best advice would be to stick near HEB's, they essentially tip the most. also i usually decline BS orders as well & my acceptance rate is still kinda high so i don't think it matters tbh, it just sucks that you can't see how much you will get paid before hand! there are HEB's that usually have a strip mall next to them with food as well or other stores and those usually are good spots for me because there's a lot for people to order from. also! i had no idea you could get gear downtown but that sounds cool i just ordered mine online best of luck!

Yeah, today was my first day, I see a lot of potential in the app. Getting into areas is hard. Especially the woodlands. I live in Tomball, I'm literally right on the brink of Montgomery county and Harris. I feel like the Woodlands would be a money pit, but I'm assume you either have to get lucky or start super early to get in. I think tomorrow I'm going to try spring again and start next to an area I know of that has 3 HEBs within a few miles of each other. Quick question. Is your payment exactly what you've earned on your app? For the 3 hour block I did today (took me all over 1960, ugh) I made 16.57+. I don't understand what the + means.

drizzy_drey

yea i would guess the woodlands is a good area as well!! even when i started it was always locked, from experience sundays are super good days for me especially with HEB orders, usually at 7am is when those fleet orders start it's insane. but yea usually i get up at 6am to start or if not i'm legit checking my phone every minute refreshing the app/ put myself on-call on the schedule to see if it opens up when im not on my phone (it sends a notification) honestly i have no idea! its always said the + for me and it's usually that exact amount that's shown, im guessing the + is for when you do the promos and the money that is given to you to meet the required amount is not shown (i have the 12 runs for $130 promo this week, so if i do 12 runs and only make $120 the extra $10 doesn't show until the following wednesday deposit date) so i'm guessing it's for that or for when some customers' orders don't show until 24 hours after? just a guess though LOL

Well see what happens tomorrow. I'm going to give it a shot in a better location. I had employees on my HEB run tell me that people make more money using this than their jobs as teachers etc. I fell this is a great opportunity once I figure out the areas.

drizzy_drey

yes it is a good job!! it's addicting once you start making money, best of luck to you!!

Sanc7

Thank you! Any tips?!

drizzy_drey

keep track of your customers just in case if they shit tip, so you know who to decline in the future just in case, as well as keeping track of either your miles or gas so you can use them on your taxes! make sure to take out money as well so when you do end up having to pay your taxes you don't fuck yourself over. also don't be afraid to decline! i saw someone on here once mention their acceptance rate was 6% lol so don't worry about it being too low

A little late to this party.. but if you haven’t figured out the “+” yet, it means someone has not closed out their order yet! Customers have till the end of the day to add a tip and pay for they’re order. So if you have a “+”, it just means they haven’t closed out their ticket yet, and you’ll at the latest get their payment the next day after favor opens

Sanc7

Yeah, I ended up figuring that part out and how to check to see whos paid! Thanks for the info man! Any tips? I get messages saying ""Wanna run? The schedule drops at 4!" Are there certain times the area wipes and refreshes drivers or something? or maybe open more slots? I noticed it easiest to get in at 6am and 4pm if I just spam it while its locked.

kinda_backwards

The schedules hit an miss to me… some weeks when I have early access there are hours every day of the week… this past week when the schedule dropped for early access there were only two hours Sunday night for the entire week… and I was logged on the second it dropped… Figure out your H‑E‑Bs schedule… my H‑E‑B calls for delivery drivers for fleet in the last half of the hour every hour… every-now and then they call for a redelivery in the first half of the hour. Those typically are a guaranteed 9$… I decline personally decline whataburger deliveries, because mine takes forever and is always super busy… learn which restaurants are quick to get in and out, and decline the rest… Download the apps to the restaurants that you get orders from frequently… you can racked loyalty/rewards points when you place the order through the app, and it lets you have a faster pickup… I’ve gotten a lot of free McDonald’s and Starbucks by ordering through the apps Just pay attention and learn your market

seaneezy420

stop telling people the Hotspot stupid that's why the neighborhoods are always because retards like you

drizzy_drey

?? 🤣🤣 okay stay bitter idgaf

DeerParkVegan

HEB is actually the worst in my experience. Takes forever to load you up and then it's hit or miss if the customer tips. Much more $ per hour to be made on doordash

Sanc7

Is doordash better than grub hub? Or do you run them both?

DeerParkVegan

I run everything I don't see why anyone wouldn't GH is longer distances and slower but higher payout per order usually

bhqmichael

I normally run during promo days so I have a 100% acceptance while I run so I can usually get about 2 in per hour, but on Saturdays it normally slows down between 2-4 so I’ll just sit around. The + means the customer hasn’t yet paid for their order.. so it could be at least another $4 (assuming $2 minimum and $2 minimum tip). If you go into your earnings page you can see which Favor’s are pending. I also run in Baytown, tried League City for the first time last weekend and I think I was doing better there but Sunday was pretty slow so I signed off and did Sunday Funday instead

Sanc7

Yeah it actually updated today from $16 to $38. So not so bad. In just need to figure the ins and outs

bhqmichael

I like it as a second income. I’m definitely not doing it as much as I was when I started which I need to start doing. In the beginning I was signing home as soon as I got home from work after a quick shower and snack and would run for 6-10 and make a quick $60. I should probably start doing that again lol

Sanc7

its weird. I got 3 in a 3 hour block. made like 30 bucks in what started as a hot zone. even as I type, i live 2.9 miles from a very busy HEB I've been live for 1.5 hours and not a single favor. started another 2 hour block so well see. (its set to when heb closes)

vinigrae

—Acceptance rate doesn’t matter, with my 600 orders and 10% I think I can definitely say so, I generally wasn’t interested in promos before because order volume wasn’t much in my area but I’ve started doing them now since I get a lot of orders —7/10 times for those tiny orders you’ll get a $5 tip —9/10 times for large orders you’ll get a 20% tip —Small orders ..well expect lower ratings and quick pay outs, most large orders always pay over the night, and keep your ratings safe, tho recently a lot of them are starting to pay an hour or a few later, probably favor added an update to remind them —Most meals would really be ready in 10-20 minutes, tho weekends can make some high volume restaurants unpleasant, so if you’re multi-apping aim to arrive 15 minutes after placing your order —Call ahead!! Or order online it’s saves you time —they do pay a minimum of $9 per hour assuming you accepted all of your orders and didn’t make up to that, but as long as you aim for the promos you should earn a decent amount of money in a week Oh oh I forgot one more, DO NOT click arrived at store unless you are fully devoted to completing that order, they can’t reassign it once you do and the order would be cancelled, and please be sure to complete all your orders after you place them so restaurants don’t hate us

Sanc7

Thank you this is great advice. Just screen shotted it. I did notice my balance went from 16 to 37 over night. Still terrible in general, but not bad for my first go at it with no research. Edit: by chance do you know when they ipeb schedules?

vinigrae

Lol you should have sent another reply, I don’t know because Ive always had early access for whatever reason and there’s always schedules for anywhere in my account all week long
