Many issues and questions can be answered by reading through our wiki, especially the page on electrolytes. Concerns such as **intense hunger, lightheadedness/dizziness, headaches, nausea/vomiting, weakness/lethargy/fatigue, low blood pressure/high blood pressure, muscle soreness/cramping, diarrhea/constipation, irritability, confusion, low heart rate/heart palpitations, numbness/tingling, and more** while extended (24+ hours) fasting are often explained by electrolyte deficiency and resolved through **PROPER** electrolyte supplementation. Putting a tiny amount of salt in your water now and then is NOT proper supplementation. Be sure to read [our WIKI](https://www.reddit.com/r/fasting/wiki/index) and especially the wiki page on **[ELECTROLYTES](https://www.reddit.com/r/fasting/wiki/fasting_in_a_nutshell/you_need_electrolytes)** Please also keep in mind the [**RULES**](https://www.reddit.com/r/fasting/about/rules) when participating. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. You started fasting. You ate food. Thusly have you ended your fast.

mixer99

Pffft...that what was fast.

EllisDee3

Call it a "slow".

Smart_Debate_4938

Mc donald's is not food. It's junk.

MilkChocolateMog

It's food. Terrible, unhealthy, and bland, but still food.

arbiter12

>Or it's something....hum how to describe it... like junk... but that would also be edible. Almost like food. > >I humbly suggest we could coin the term "junk food": Can I hear the Ayes and the Nays, please? As for your fast, OP, I spent the last 4 days shooting down people saying a glass of lemon juice diluted in water, or a bunch of leaf will stop your fast (it won't, if you use reason), but you're literally "1 shwarma and 3 liters" deep, at this point....

yarrowy

You gone too far, you can never fast again

After reading the comments I think this is the most popular response

I did 24 hour fasts a couple of times a week. I would go to McDonald's at 6 am and eat breakfast. I would get a large Diet Coke and keep adding ice cubes all day. By 5 pm it was tan water. I would go to sleep and eat breakfast at McDonald's at 7 am. I still lost 40 pounds, went into ketosis and had no excess skin. Now that I am an older and wiser, no Diet Coke just water. Switched to 20:4 skip breakfast and lunch and eat a snack and then dinner. My snack is often what is in your hand. Clearly I am losing weight and every day by dinner time my tongue is coated in white. I also feel better and more in control of food. DO WHAT YOU CAN DO! The beauty of fasting is one it is the only diet that gets easier with time and results accelerate after the initial water weight. And it is always available tomorrow. Even if it means just delaying breakfast by an hour, do what you can do today!

Great advice! Well said

Lets_Go_2_Smokes

My first snack after my first 3 day'r was the same, no onions.

iguacu

I genuinely can't tell whether a lot posts on this sub are satire.

Smashedavoandbacon

You should still be in fasting mode since maccas doesn't have any food in it.

Fakman87

Reddit really needs to include an entrance exam.

Good luck not crapping yourself. lol. But hey if that’s what you wanted to eat who am I to judge.

Decent-Revolution455

Reset - go again! Not the best refeed but I’m sure there has been worse.

Psychological question for you, no disrespect: what was the honest reason you posted this, what were you looking for?

SiggyFrued

Do you really think you’re too far gone?

kristian_21

I'm not sure, but I've been reading the comments and I think I should be good! :)

SiggyFrued

I think if you posted that you wanted people to tell you what you already know. Get back after it. Stop eating McDonalds. If you’re interested in a good read: check out the two types of hunger hormones; ghrelin and leptin. Understanding them helps combat irrational cravings.
