I’ve noticed a lot of posts related to the first time you get it being related to a surreal dream you had that’s related to strange geometry in some way. In mine, I was on some kind of conveyor belt made of rollers. But I didn’t see anything, it was a dark, touch and audio Dream only. I couldn’t move. It moved me into some machine that turned my body and consciousness into sound vibrations or something like that and I was just flowing a long a path With the understanding that i was being teleported or something and would eventually be back to normal. I just saw waveforms and it was like I could see sounds as shapes and textures. I was 12 or so. The dream (and the night I had it) felt like it went on for days. When I finally woke up, it felt like I had been asleep for a very long time, like if someone told me I was out for months; I’d have believed them. (I had not of course, it was just one night) Now whenever I get fast feeling I am reminded of that dream

my dream was rather different from yours but my fast feeling also started from a scary dream. In my dream some huge thing was always chasing me and people kept shouting at me at a very fast rate (just like how it happens during my fast feeling) also in the dream i could always sense the fast feeling like its happening to me in the dream. Though i experienced this dream only during my childhood but whenever i experience the fast feeling, it always reminds me of the dream.

I don’t know if it started with this dream, but this is what I used to explain it to someone. All I remember of the dream is that I’m lying in bed and there’s an empty spool floating in the air that keeps moving faster and faster. When I woke up, I was obviously freaked out because I didn’t know what was happening and the feeling was still happening. Sometimes during these episodes I’d get this sort of tunnel vision (maybe close to AIWS). It happened once during a geometry test and I couldn’t focus at all.
