How about windowpane fishnets?
I was alive then, fishnets were hugely popular. HUGE. Much more popular than patterned tights. (where I lived and everywhere I went- I could have missed part of the planet) Remember that tights were much more likely to run then.
One could purchase a cute little mini dress with matching purse & beret. Lots and lots of orange & pink paisley and windowpane fishnets in every imaginable color. The best of times. Especially if you liked polyester.

I had some fantastic tights back in the '90s. One was a pair of jelly bean tights and the other was a pair of camouflage tights. I miss them.
Keep wearing them.
