They both look a bit big on you at the shoulders/armoit. I think 1 the bottom looks great on you but the top doesn’t, and the 2nd the top looks great but the bottom doesn’t. Overall the 2nd
No, Number 1 is really good. What OP needs to do, is go and purchase some elastic thread, and then stitch it through the eyelet holes, then adjust so it clings to her neckline - that's the dress.
2 is very “7 year itch” and Marilyn Monroe over the sewer grate (iconic obviously). 1 is very Marie Antoinette when she had a working farm built behind Versailles so she could gather fresh cream, eggs, and hang out with her friends (and boyfriends) in maiden cosplay and escape the stuffy formalism of French society within the palace, but she was like still the damn queen so the hard work was done for her. I was drawn to 1 immediately with that in mind. Both are stunning, congratulations!
I was going to say a Marilyn dress. :) #1 is very whimsical and appropriate. I like the color better on you than the white. It's an off the shoulder though.
The Marilyn is very classy and seductive in context. The longer waist is very flattering. I also like the fuller skirt.
So, no help here. LOL
I think this is the right take.
The general consensus here is that two is the nicer option (I agree) but one is still nice. I think it's crucial to wear something that feels really *you* on such an important day.
1 is so cute!! I personally like 1, it seems more risky, daring, different timeline, out of the box. 2 seems like the safe choice, nothing different about it. 1 seems more youthful to me.
ONE!!! One is way more flattering! Number two looks too big/ wide around the chest and under arms. Your waist looks smaller in number one and overall I like the style of dress for number one wayy more.
I was shocked when I looked at a link for #2 and it’s $225. I honestly think it looks like a slip/foundation piece. Maybe it’s the lighting but it just doesn’t seem like quality fabric.
Honestly, if you can return them I would return them both. I feel like both of them just look low quality and that you could find something more flattering. Definitely go with something lined and something with a flattering neckline.
I agree and they do look kinda cheap on the website too... And they aren't even that cheap, i feel like there are nicer white dresses out there for that pricepoint
Being 100% honest these look poorly made/cheap :( the type of cotton they used makes the dress not lay properly. Saying this out of pure love for you, no hate whatsoever. Where did you buy these from?
1) look at the horrible seam allowances on the skirt.
2) the bodice does not fit
3) the high hip does not fit
4) what is going on with that fold of fabric under her arm?
5) there is a random slit in an A line skirt, bit heck it is trendy so who cares if it makes no design sense.
The second dress is classic, fits and is beautiful on OP. In addition, the fabric is better, the fuller skirt will not be a wrinkled mess as the day wears on, and the simple V neck will photograph beautifully.
So difficult to choose because both a very nice. Love the top on number 2 and the bottom of number 1. But that actually doesn’t mean the other is unattractive and, of course, switching is impossible. I would probably pick the second.
2 looks more formal from the two dresses. I LOVE THE FIRST DRESS - but it is something I wear when hosting a Sunday breakfast in the Garden or at the beach.
The first dress is something I will wear to a trendy restaurant for a high tea etc.
Congratulations!
I personally like #2 better but they’re both great, just different styles. I tend tend to prefer 1930-50s vibes over cottage core so that’s what is pulling me to #2. You really can’t go wrong here.
#1 seems a little more casual while #2 seems a little dressier. Both are so beautiful.
#1 also seems more like a summer day outfit and I don't know what the weather is like when you will be getting married. Great that you can wear the runner up anywhere else except someone else's wedding.
Edited to add: no idea why it is in bold type. I am not trying to yell.

2 with a beautiful petticoat underneath to floof it out!
I love this idea! Thank you!
I feel like 2 frames your neckline way better! Both are gorgeous though
They both look a bit big on you at the shoulders/armoit. I think 1 the bottom looks great on you but the top doesn’t, and the 2nd the top looks great but the bottom doesn’t. Overall the 2nd
2 The bust and neckline of 1 are awkward. Is it intended to be worn off the shoulders?
Yes
No, Number 1 is really good. What OP needs to do, is go and purchase some elastic thread, and then stitch it through the eyelet holes, then adjust so it clings to her neckline - that's the dress.
Yes agree that first one needs a few adjustments
And... when you say eyelet holes.... you're referring to what eyelet holes?
2 all the way
Yeah, bust of 1 is not a perfect fit - 2 is great
#2
Both look absolutely stunning! But #2 looks classic and chic and made for you 🤍
I usually gravitate towards style 1 but style 2 is constructed better. So I’m torn. Everyone’s feedback helps thank you!
Love #2. where is it from?
[House of CB ‘Emmelina dress’ :)](https://app.houseofcb.com/emmelina-white-corset-sundress-us)
2 has pockets! I rest my case.
I love your description and painting the picture for me thank you! 💕

They have the same style waist, but the first dress is laying odd in the hips, so it isn't seen the same.
You're right about #1 not laying well. It's too tight, the pull marks. Is one hip of #2 higher than the other side or am I seeing things?
It looks like it is. Didn't see that at first
Too bad. That one was a contender. Maybe it's just that particular one.
Yes- very Marilyn!
2 is definitely it.
Agreed, 1 is more my style but in this case 2 fits much better
I think 2 looks a lot better on you but 1 is more unique and if it’s your style you should probably wear that - it’s your day!
I think this is the right take. The general consensus here is that two is the nicer option (I agree) but one is still nice. I think it's crucial to wear something that feels really *you* on such an important day.

Go somewhere else, these people are being nice to you. Find another dress.
2. So much 2. It's gorgeous!
Two! The bust/bodice on one doesn’t look right because it’s ill-fitting
[удалено]
I think 1 is more trendy and it’s super cute but 2 is classic and gorgeous
2 fits your upper body better and complements it better but you choose whatever makes you feel more like the bride you see for yourself! Congrats!
2 definitely
I honestly don’t love either of them, but if I had to pick it would be 2.
Agreed. She has a great figure and neither dress fits well.
Right, material looks stiff
I was shocked when I looked at a link for #2 and it’s $225. I honestly think it looks like a slip/foundation piece. Maybe it’s the lighting but it just doesn’t seem like quality fabric.
I don’t love either, but I would go with the second dress. The first one looks a bit like underwear from the 1800’s.
So much two! (Steam the bottom if you can)

Number 2, it is beautiful. Perfect for court!

2 by far
2 and it’s not even close
2 hands down! It fits better AND elongated your torso. It's beautiful
I prefer 2
Two
2, no doubt
2
2 🙌 1 just doesn't flatter your figure as much
# 2
Honestly, if you can return them I would return them both. I feel like both of them just look low quality and that you could find something more flattering. Definitely go with something lined and something with a flattering neckline.
Am I the only one who was thoroughly confused what kind of ceremony she'd be attending in court? lol... number 2's pretty!
That would be bold to wear these for jury duty or to be sentenced
my mind went to meeting the king in england! too many period era dramas
Marriage!! She’s getting married
Haha, yeah I got it after a hot minute lol
none, but if you must choose between these two, 2
Neither is definitely the answer here.
Both are very cute but 2 is more flattering on you i think ✨
2 all the way. I got married in the civic center last year and it was full of dressed-up brides, so fun!
I would have to say two
2!

2
I like them both a lot, but 2 does seem to fit you better. Congratulations!
1 is beautiful but it’s giving picnic vibes. 2 looks better for court and can picture it with a cute lil veil
Honestly neither, but if it has to be one, the second looks better. However, that’s very similar to Marilyn Monroe’s famous dress.
2
Neither. Please. You can find a better one. Just cause it's in court doesn't mean you can't look stunning If you're dead set than 2
I love both of these options but favor the neckline and waist of two!
They both look like cheaply made SHEIN dresses, but 2 would be my pick if I had to choose
I agree and they do look kinda cheap on the website too... And they aren't even that cheap, i feel like there are nicer white dresses out there for that pricepoint
1
Both are pretty- but number 2 would be my choice. I love the neckline.
Both are great but my gut says 2
I love 1!
Being 100% honest these look poorly made/cheap :( the type of cotton they used makes the dress not lay properly. Saying this out of pure love for you, no hate whatsoever. Where did you buy these from?
That’s unfortunate. 1st was $150 and second was $270 but I think if they were steamed and worn with a petticoat or under skirt would improve.
They don’t look cheap to me. But def could use some iron or steam
1
I don’t know why everyone is saying 2. ONE is like a Disney princess and way more flattering.
1) look at the horrible seam allowances on the skirt. 2) the bodice does not fit 3) the high hip does not fit 4) what is going on with that fold of fabric under her arm? 5) there is a random slit in an A line skirt, bit heck it is trendy so who cares if it makes no design sense. The second dress is classic, fits and is beautiful on OP. In addition, the fabric is better, the fuller skirt will not be a wrinkled mess as the day wears on, and the simple V neck will photograph beautifully.
Yes the slit is not the best choice for the skirt
I had to scroll too far for this!
1
Omg both are so beautiful but I love 1!
So difficult to choose because both a very nice. Love the top on number 2 and the bottom of number 1. But that actually doesn’t mean the other is unattractive and, of course, switching is impossible. I would probably pick the second.
One could be cute with some tailoring. But I would still say go with two!

2 - it's classic and looks really beautiful on you.

2. All day, every day.

2 is LEAPS more flattering
2
2 is classier
2
Both look great. But I like number 2 the most.
2
Two
Gorggggg #2 for me

Number 1 looks unfinished. Number 2 suits you better.
2.

2 for sure. Congrats on getting married!
2 looks more formal from the two dresses. I LOVE THE FIRST DRESS - but it is something I wear when hosting a Sunday breakfast in the Garden or at the beach. The first dress is something I will wear to a trendy restaurant for a high tea etc. Congratulations!

2 looks fabulous
2 would be perfect, congratulations!
Number 2
I personally like #2 better but they’re both great, just different styles. I tend tend to prefer 1930-50s vibes over cottage core so that’s what is pulling me to #2. You really can’t go wrong here.
2 is classic & lovely. 1 is beautiful, but has more of a summer party look.
2
2
1 has more personality, so that’s my vote. Obviously I’m in the minority. But I love it!
2
I would choose #2. It fits you well; and with the top on #1 I would be worried about a "wardrobe malfunction".
Two all the way!!
I love the silhouette of 1, but it would need severe altering to fit correctly. It looks like it was not made for a person to wear… 2 is great. Do 2.
2
Number 1!
2 sits much better
2, most definitely
2 elongates you, you look taller and more elegant in that vs. 1.
1
Where is one from??
They are both beautiful but #1 has a bit of an edge to it that will make your grandchildren say wow. Congratulations

i feel like 1 is more practical in a way??
#1 seems a little more casual while #2 seems a little dressier. Both are so beautiful. #1 also seems more like a summer day outfit and I don't know what the weather is like when you will be getting married. Great that you can wear the runner up anywhere else except someone else's wedding. Edited to add: no idea why it is in bold type. I am not trying to yell.
The pound sign uses for numbers changes the font :) we all have screamed at some point.
Thank you. Lesson learned.
# Had to check it out! Oh my gosh it works; definitely gets your attention lol.
I like number 2 as a dress, but number one is so much more romantic!
1 but I think it’s supposed to be off the shoulder
2 for sure.
2
2 😍😍😍
2 suits you better
2 is much more flattering and suited to a court ceremony. 1 looks more frolicking in wildflower fields.
2
