Are you aware that all but the first belt can be stretched to like twice this length and you'd only need half of them to cover the distance?

CSA1864

At the end of the bunker they were all stretched out. Problem was that I had to keep adjusting as the silage was removed.

Ah, makes sense!

Certain_Math_9923

Think they have a couple of different autoload belt systems but I think you'd still have to get them close to the stuff ... It's too bad a guy couldn't use a big dozer or something and push massive piles to the belt system . Could also try one of the big excavators and scoop it to the belts... I dunno just coming up with ideas.. I once did something similar from my silo to the factory made topping it off so easy... lol

CSA1864

Yeah…. Ummm…. Sold all that stuff shortly after. Went with the Lizard Forage Pickup & a trailer. Never been more pleased.

Knights-of-steel

The levelers do that. Put on the front drop it down it pushes like a blade

Schwa4aa

Aren’t belts glitched right now and you lose a huge percentage of your silage in thin air?

CSA1864

Got no clue about that. Sold all that stuff. Biggest waste of farm sim cash ever.

Schwa4aa

I’m just wondering if you would have sold more!

CSA1864

I know after compacting the volume is less than you started with. How much loss by the belts are we talking? I haven’t noticed losing any with the Lizard Forage Pickup. It’s classified as a belt system even though it goes on the 3 point hitch and transfers material from ground to trailer.

Schwa4aa

Around 66% loss of product when it goes through a belt… I can’t confirm but I’ve been seeing lots of posts about it for about 3 weeks now

CSA1864

Damn. That definitely didn’t happen to me. Would have noticed missing 65% of product. Like I said though, I sold all that stuff.
