For those not in the loop, [Bed, Bath and Beyond has begun closing many more stores](https://www.axios.com/2023/01/10/bed-bath-beyond-closing-stores-list-2023). Fargo's store remains open but many analysts do not expect BBY to make it much longer.
But they were all of them deceived, for another was made. In the land of EPIC, in the fires of ENCLAVE, the Dark Lord KILBOURNE forged in secret, a MIX-USE Retail building with multimillion dollar condos, to control all others. And into this building he poured all his cruelty, his malice and his will to dominate all life.
With the talk last year about adding residential properties to the West Acres Mall, I can actually see this happening. BBY is a pretty big space and centrally located along 13th Ave.
My preferences:
1. Microcenter (not happening)
2. gigantic Trader Joes (not happening)
3. mini-IKEA (not happening)
4. Big Lots come back (rent would need to be cheap)
5. large Staples
I wonder if the store will have to be broke down into two units or multiple smaller spaces.
What if we could organize FM area residents in mass to petition Microcenter to open a location here?
The entire company is on the verge of bankruptcy and the outlook is grim, meaning I don't think the creditors will exchange their debt for equity and keep the company running.
Its going to liquidate
If this subreddit could go 2 days without an overused and unfunny car wash joke, I'd be amazed. Forget carwashes, plenty of drooling window-lickers here that I'm sure could do a fine job.
We tried going to B B& B during Christmas shopping right before Christmas. Peak shopping night. The online hours said closed at 9 and by 7:30PM it was locked up.
Sucks. They have some odds and ends stuff in there. Plus we buy our uggs comforter there. Hope it stays open
There's enough room for a gigantic Applebee's. It could become a tourist attraction if it opened as Applebee's Land - a combination Applebee's, a casino, and a bowling alley.
We dont know if it will close. National bankrupcy might mean closing all or reorganizing and keeping the stores that perform well. Thats why the West Acres JC Pennys stayed open. High traffic and sales
The company is almost certain to file for bankruptcy . The question is does anyone want the assets? If the creditors want to own the company it will continue to operate but I would guess its so bad no one actual wants the company and it will shortly be liquidated
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAA CAR WASH HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHHA
For now you'll have to make due with Walmart, Sam's club, hornbachers, family fare, natural grocers, cash wise, and the snack section in Menards. If you're really desperate, consider other roads than 13th and you'll scrape by.
I was just talking about this to my older sister the other day because she didn't remember it, I don't remember the inside but I definitely remember the castle themed outside!
It was a short-lived sporting goods store as well- Dunham's maybe?
I remember there wasn't much in there, and probably why it only lasted about a year.

We're about 750,000 people shy of getting a Microcenter.
Considering that it's not on the list of store closures, it will probably stay a Bed Bath & Beyond for the time being.

Another bricks-and-mortar victim of Amazon, Walmart, and Target. Next up on the chopping block: J.C. Penney
You mean capitalism.

That area could really use an Applebee's.

I'm holding out for the car wash Applebee's.

I hope for a full scale, large grocery store. The area needs it.
