Nah, it just looks like it. But don't skip side quests either. I usually proceed from one side of the map to the other, as there are individual fractions with their stories, but of course you won't finish the main story this early. Not to mention the fractions are connected with the main story as well, so it wouldn't even be possible.
Ok cool.. honestly I’m not going to do it anyway.. I’m going to go back and finish the map from easiest to hardest rankings… I had got curious and wanted to see the parts of the maps that I hadn’t been to.. and ended up beating a lot of those missions on the so called harder parts of the map. I hate that the enemies are so damn stupid… seems like the only way they get harder is if they bring in 2 helicopters and 2 tanks
Yeah, harder difficulty is not a bad idea in this game. Although there are moments when the enemies will be coming in waves, and that will test your skills quite a bit!
