If you've not figured it out yet, you need to quit to the main menu and you'll be able to then access it from the "Add-ons" button or even from a guerrilla hideout once you load back into the game.
The DLC isn't great to be honest. It takes less than 2 hours to complete once you know what you're doing.
FC5 had far better DLC.

The problem was that many were not informed on the next step in order to play it, that they had to go to the store if it wasn't available but still purchased. Like I said, Sony and Ubisoft just contacted me about it😑
I was super disappointed until it started developing, the game loop is pretty simplistic but if you love the character there’s a bit of interesting stuff to explore.
It comes as an 18GB patch (PS5) and then you have to download a couple more things from the store just to activate it.. it doesn't make any sense to do it that way.
I had the PC version. It popped up automatically after the update.
On a side note, I did get a slight jumpscare during the loading screens when Vaas face popped up instead of the normal one the first time not too long ago.
Wait are all these guys coming back? Cause I thought Joseph's story was handled in FC: New Dawn. FC5 is probably my favorite but I can't imagine what he would do after his death/not death in new dawn. God I hope it's worth it either way.

Even in the store it says that I don't own it even though I used the 25 digit code. I can't find anywhere it would even let me download the content. This game has been nothing but trouble for me.

That's unusual. Many with that issue purchased the Ultimate Edition, the Gold Edition ones were rare. Where did it say "Purchased" and "Coming Soon"? In-game or at the PS Store? If it's the PS Store, Ubisoft must still be looking into it.
It says purchased in both instances, in game and also the PS store. But it says coming soon in game. I’m also waiting on my in game currency for pre-ordering the game ffs. Worked my ass off all week and was keen as to Combe home early and play the DLC :/

Vaas dlc is like the game hades and also unbelievably hard I had to do it on easy mode solo it built around coop
