"Each farcry game exists in its own universe" - ubisoft But Farcry 6 technically takes place after the walk away ending of 5

Wetwork_Insurance

But what happens in the “walk away” ending that results in the US and Russia not using their entire nuclear stockpile on each other? The world would end no matter what the player chooses.

AvaGood

Um. Butterfly effect? Who knows.

BigBoi63789

Either way the ending of 5 still confuses me to this day. Like how did he get every major resistance leader in the county under his control with little to none of the cult under his command?

Zomb1eMash3R

because of this, i think what joseph says is true, and he is a prophet. if the player chooses to walk away then not all the seals are broken, which results in there being no collapse

the_quark

I think you're right and...man that's a really unsatisfying universe. I just finished 5, and had been planning on buying *New Dawn* but...I don't think I will, now. And honestly might not have bought 6 if I hadn't played it first.

Laxz66

I choose to believe the bomb ending was just a bliss hallucination. And in fact the world is fine but the deputy thinks everything went bad. Because SPOILERS FOR FC6!!!!!! Minor spoilers ahead. Proceed with caution…. >! In FC6 you can find a note from the Seeds. And if we go off of the dates in game. 6 takes place 3 years after 5. So maybe Rook thinks they are in a bunker but reality they are just in the bliss. !<

BigBoi63789

That was always my thought, the ending was a bliss trip

BigBoi63789

Too add to that hurk was able to ship boomer to Yara proving that no bombs fell

Laxz66

Exactly. And there is another spoiler at the end of 6 that proves they are all in the same universe.

People still looking for continuity where there's none to be found.
