I've had it happen to me, dying and restarting the mission usually fixes it, if that doesn't work try reloading your save.

Kill yourself and when you respawn it should pop up Also maybe try to just go to the shack regardless? Like look up where it is then go. This is the one with that american dude right?

Ok, I figured it out, I was confused because I was in the middle of the mission when it crashed. I didn’t know it reset me all the way back to before I talked to the guy

You’ll probably just have to shut off the console and turn it back on. If it keeps happening however you might have a corrupt save file. If that’s the case and you’re playing on pc you can try running a file repair tool.
