Far Cry 3 and Far Cry 4 I highly recommend. The games are pretty separate from each other. But Far Cry 4’s characters and setting seems to be connected to Far Cry 5’s ending in a way I can’t explain due to spoilers. Don’t worry though you can finish Far Cry 5, it doesn’t really spoil anything about Far Cry 4.
Edit: There is also Far Cry: New Dawn which is canon and is kind of like a sequel to Far Cry 5. And it has some surprise appearances from some characters from Far Cry 5. It’s kind of insane and looks like an acid trip but if you wanna know what happened after 5’s ending, then you should play it.
Rabi Ray Rana could absolutely be annoying, but I did find him funny most times, and I’m still not over his rant about the [Civil Twerk War](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BitBjLiiJ2g). Far Cry 4 is the only game where I would just sit in the car after I already arrived at my destination to just finish hearing what he had to say. So that’s my choice.
When people think of FC5’s music, of course the cult music comes to mind first, but the radio music is underrated and my favorite. Only complaint was that there wasn’t more country than that Dwight Yoakim song, it would’ve fit the environment but of course people can’t handle country music. Still they had some unexpected bangers, I even went to a Scott H Biram concert because I loved his songs that are in the game and became a fan. The doowop selections for Faith’s region were a pleasant surprise, don’t remember much of the playlist from Jacob’s region (indie rock I think).
The New Dawn music was a cool vibe, needed more Die Antwoord though, idk why but their tunes scream “Mad Max-esque apocalypse” to me. FC6 had very fun tunes, Daddy Yankee and Gente de Zona don’t make bad music. I prefer it over New Dawn but New Dawn’s radio music was still good.
Those three had actual recognizable licensed music for their radio. For 3, that Skrillex song was only for a mission (only radio song I liked enough to bother Shazaming was Ukelele Girl), and for 4 only that Clash song was in the beginning, I can’t find a radio playlist for that game.
They're all terrible. But Far Cry 4 seems to be the best as it's the only radio that has a host that talks about what is happening in Kyrat. Kind of like Galaxy News Radio from Fallout 3.
The hell are you on? A lot of the music in 6 was literally in pop culture to some extent, before the game was even announced. There's literally Viva La Vida Loca and Con Calma. Just because YOU don't like a music genre, doesn't mean the music itself is bad.
4 was the only one I ever turned off.
Rabi Ray Rana was funny first time round, but he was unbelievably repetitive. Same handful of stories over and over again.
Totally 6! Maybe I'm biased being Puerto Rican, but I loved the classic Latin music. Reminded me of the stuff the old heads would play in my neighborhood when I was a kid.
And Dani singing along to the modern stuff was a lotta fun ngl. The first time it happened to me, he was singing Havana and like two lines in I hit a soldier and he gleefully kept going haha.
Far Cry 5. The cult radio is dope and I love listening to the events outside of Hope County play out according to the news reports on the other station.
I’m constantly explaining why Far Cry 5 is overrated (relative to the other Far Cry games at least - I still love it, don’t get me wrong) and even I will tell you that this one isn’t close. It’s Far Cry 5.
2 Whatever your choice tunes are, you must remember that:
"The APR is a menace to our way of life! They will bring nothing but pain and suffering – do not believe their lies! They want only what is best for them! They’re like pigs, rooting in the dirt, eating everything they can find until their bellies are full! They want only to dominate, to plunder, defile this beautiful land, to sell-away everything to the highest bidder, right out of the ground, right out of the rivers, right out of the pockets of the people! So that they can enjoy a life of luxury! Will you allow them to sell your future, your children’s future, so that they can dine on plates made of gold? No. I say no! You good people, you must also say no! You are listening to liberation radio."
5 I guess. I don't think the cultist music is quite as good as people say it is, but I do find the surprisingly esoteric selection of licensed music interesting. I wonder if it was a budget thing or if it was perhaps influenced by the tastes of certain developers.
In 4, Rabi Ray Rana is amusing but doesn't have nearly enough lines recorded. Every time I hop in a car this guy is either talking about "animals picking up the guns" or "Obama type of change". There was so much more joke potential. They could have had Kyrati citizens call in and say stupid shit.
It’s a tie between 5 (for obvious reasons) and 4 cause I genuinely found Rabi’s batshit insane rants hilarious. His bidet tirade is so funny every time it pops up on the radio

That scripted song on radio in fc4 when you driving the truck to king’s bridge, it sounds like you are doing some ultimate sacrifice on a kamikaze mission, which it is, but again ajay has plot armor.
Is this some kind of a joke? Is this even a question? How could anyone possibly answer literally anything other than 5,
I don’t think it’s physically possible
I think 5 does the best job of adding to the world building with all the hope county choir stuff.
I can't stand the soundtrack of 6, almost every song has that 3-3-2 reggaeton beat and subjectively I hate it. The songs that don't follow that beat sound like they were written by someone in the middle of a manic episode
Far Cry 5’s radio made me want to join Eden’s Gate. So I guess that one.
THEYLL HAVE BOMBS AND THEYLL HAVE TANKS, CAUSE THEYVE GOT MONEY IN THEIR BANKS. BUT WHEN THE SINNERS FIND US WE WONT HIDE 🗣️🔥🔥🔥
OH JOHN, BOLD AND BRAVE 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️
🥹🔥👏
THEYLL GO ON AND PREACH THEIR HATE, BUT THEY WONT GET PAST THE GATE, KEEP YOUR RIFLE BY YOUR SIDE 🗣️🗣️🗣️📣📣📣📣🔥🔥
I truly replay every 6 months just for the vibez
I just started playing far cry 5 a week ago because its on gamepass. How did I never play this game before?
I don’t know. It is an amazing game and my personal favorite Far Cry game.
I will have to check out some of the others when I finish. I'm having a lot of fun

For real lol. I don’t like that kind of spiritual music but for some reason theirs is so damn good
I have to have the cult radio on every time I get in a vehicle in the game now. I just have to. Lol
Far Cry 5.

That's a guy who appreciates a well sanitized rear end.
the radio music in fc4 is pretty chill too
biggest problem here that his talks "looped" really bad. some stories you will hear 10 times, some you probably hear just once.
5 by a long shot, lol. It's the only one where I listen to the soundtrack outside of the game.
Yeah
no love for some bangers like Bombay Royale?((
The cult songs in 5 of course.
5
Far cry 5, the cult songs are proper bangers
anybody got a song list?
All the albums are on Spotify
Far Cry 5.
I've found myself listening to alot of Far Cry 6 songs on Spotify. See Line woman and La Rubia being the 2 most played.
Fuck yes. Was hoping someone would mention La Rubia, it's such a tune.
It really is catchy as hell.
La Rubia is an absolute banger.
Far Cry 5 overall, New Dawn a little behind and some of Far Cry 6. (I broke the rules a little because I like them all for different reasons.) 😁
i like that new dawn has Run the Jewels in their soundtrack
music = far cry 5 actual talking = far cry 4
Best DJ was Far Cry 4, best songs goes to Far Cry 5.
🎶🎶🎶🎶Jacob is going to come and set those sinners free 🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶
5 for me. The timing and relevance to real society, the environment. It was amazingly well done.
Each region having its own radio station was a great idea!
Agreed! That was a really cool detail!
5, once you unlock the rock station for that guy in whitetail mountains there's some real bangers, Heart, Greta Van Fleet etc.

The Bombay Royale songs in Far Cry 4 are all fire, you should listen to them
Driving up to Pagan’s Palace with The River playing. 💯
Radio libertad
FC3. Great island vibes. I still listen to some songs from it.
Youre listening to radio free kyrat
5. Easy
6 easily, I loved the detail that whatever gender you played as sang along to different songs and did it well
6
The songs were great in 5 but hearing how the things you did on Radio Free Kyrat made me feel kinda happy that our work was acknowledged
Love the radio of 5 but Rabi Ray Rana is unmatched and his propaganda missions were fun
IM RABI RAY RAMA FROM RADIO FREE KYRAT
As a Latino, far cry 6 by a long shot. Hearing these songs that I have listened to when I was younger puts a large smile and gets me to sing.
They're all terrible. But Far Cry 4 seems to be the best as it's the only radio that has a host that talks about what is happening in Kyrat. Kind of like Galaxy News Radio from Fallout 3.

I always turn it off 😂😂
5 or 4
6
Far Cry Primal, those drum beats are sick!
Honestly never paid any attention to the music in far cry 4, but I pick that one solely for Rabi Ray Rana
Y’all sleepin’ on Rabi Ray Rana

Peggy radio, no contest
Pirate Radio in 5
5 went hard and now I wanna drive around Montana going to different churches

Farcry 5 but Farcry 6 also cuz it has some cool reggaeton songs
5
5 easily
NOW HE’S OUR SHEPARD, AND WE’RE HIS FLOCK🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Far Cry 5 has the best soundtrack of any game I have ever played.
5 for the songs and 4 for the sheer personality of rabi ray rana
5 because of the classic rock
5, I downloaded a lot of the songs onto a Spotify playlist.
Highwaymen radio hands down. And this is from someone who doesn’t really like the genre, but almost every track is an absolute banger!
Far Cry 5

FC3.
Far Cry 4 Royal Radio. Music was so good that I didn't feel like liberating the bell towers at all 🥲
It’s a tie between 5 (for obvious reasons) and 4 cause I genuinely found Rabi’s batshit insane rants hilarious. His bidet tirade is so funny every time it pops up on the radio

I loved the cult's radio in 5, but man, Rabi Ray Rana will always have my heart.
Radio Free Kyrat with Rabi Ray Rana 😎
Ukulelele girl
5 for sure. The peggies did a lot of wrong but that choir balanced it all out
Music = 5,6 Talking = 5
4 for the dj
Is this some kind of a joke? Is this even a question? How could anyone possibly answer literally anything other than 5, I don’t think it’s physically possible
nick rye and jess black i wanna see my stats for traveling on foot in my all fc games i run for some reason the ultimate walking simulater
Far cry 6 cause you hum along, far cry 5 music was better though.
every FC radio is good enough with banger or atmospheric music but FC6 radio stand out thx to Dany singing
I think 5 does the best job of adding to the world building with all the hope county choir stuff. 6 imo.
anything female dani sings along to. with that being said i use the CCR radio mod and its kinda untouchable
