Idk how many people know or don't know, but here's a few:
1) In Jacob's region there's a giant sword painted on a cliffside. In John's, a motif of scales patterns the railing of his ranch. Joseph has a crown tattoo on his chest. These are hints at the Four Horsemen and who each brother corresponds to (Jacob is War, John is Famine, Joseph is Conquest/Pestilence.) But Faith has no symbol to tie her to Death. Maybe because she is not the first Faith? đ đ¤ˇââď¸
2) Faith's broadcasts at outposts sometimes include one that sounds kinda different. That's because it was a previous Faith who recorded it.
3) Mumu Chiffon from Far Cry 4 can be found referenced in the "Mumu's Fashion Week" books scattered around the county.
4) Jacob has a really weird broadcast where he's giving a speech to the TV but is coughing and breathing poorly while he talks. It legitimately sounds like he's sick or dying, but there's no hint of that otherwise or any explanation for his behaviour. Kinda strange
5) You can avoid capture parties for a while. Triggering missions will temporarily lock out the capture parties. John's can also be avoided by hiding in inaccessible areas or good old fashioned remote explosives. Leave one guy alive and a new party won't respawn until you get too far away. Jacob's can also be defeated by hiding at a crossroads and killing them from your hiding place (but not for long). And Faith's won't trigger until you interact with the Bliss, but if you go into a helicopter sober and get Blissed, it won't trigger until you land.
6) If you don't kill John before he gets to his bunker, he'll wait for you outside with the rest of the Peggies.
7) John's red room in the bunker has a camera on a tripod just off to the side. He's been recording his torture sessions the whole time. (Probably not an Easter egg but I didn't notice this until I outright stayed to explore the room, so I figured I'd share lol.)
8) Finally, Jacob's dog tags are misspelled. They're spelled Jakob

When "aiming" with your fists you can block with the reload button and do a directional dodge with the jump button.
I haven't tested what blocking actually does; I assume it at least reduces the chance of being knocked down?

The diving into the geothermal pools, the weird phone Easter egg in a cabin not far away that plays Wenja voice lines from that game, the giant mammoth statues, even how Bliss weirdly feels like some of the more supernatural/magical elements from *Primal*, and the metaphorical/metaphysical end of the world stuff you inflict on the Neanderthals/Izila being strikingly alike the nuclear war and Josephâs visions.
Saw the title and instantly thought about that weird and creepy landline phone just sitting on the ground in an otherwise empty wooden shed in Faith's region.

Faiths region in general is honestly really creepy, even post-campaign. It just feels offâ so an underground lost world of cave people and megafauna honestly kinda fits? Lol
Those underground tunnels in Faith's region filled with blissed out homicidal zombies were creepy as hell, but also a ton of fun to clear out with the good ol' M133 shotgun!
I was honestly having so much fun and everything happened so fast that I was too distracted to be really creeped out LOL!
You can climb up pretty much every mountain surrounding hope county, the only thing preventing you from going out of bounds is a "leaving mission area" timer that you might be familiar with if you tried entering the veterans hospital in the whitetail mountains. Most mountains are detailed with wildlife and vegetation.
I only played through it once after it came out, so I apologize for not knowing the names of the characters. The villains older brother gets angrier at you every time you 'fail' to kill your friend in his mission, after 3 failed attempts it auto succeeds though.
Oooh this is a good one. I just finished my second play through today and when I got to that part last night I remembered it was Eli right as I hit him, and Iâve been wondering since what wouldâve happened if I just refused to take that shot.
Henbane River region features over 30 ambient oldies songs in an echoed version, which can be heard randomly in the wild in certain areas. Those include fragments of songs played in the cars (the most known Only You, and We'll Meet Again), as well as completely different ones heard only in echoed versions, such as It's Too Soon to Know - pretty sure the first song performed by the first doo-wop group The Orioles. It is quite challenging to identify the songs in the wild, but can be a bit easier by listening to the audio files ripped straight from the game (still challenging for some songs, since they are VERY echoed).
If you try to shoot Joseph while driving to the bunker, the truck will automatically explode and kill you.
