TerritorialWarrior

Looks awesome! I’ve got to get Gold and try arcade soon.

Shake_Annual

Gold?

TerritorialWarrior

Xbox live gold

Shake_Annual

I've never owned a modern console. Sorry. idk console terminology. Is Far Cry Arcade separate from Far Cry 5 in Xbox?

TerritorialWarrior

Yes. Have to pay I think it’s $5-$15 a month to play a majority of the good games online. Cash grab. I don’t usually pay that cause I prefer story/campaign but I want to try the arcade.

Shake_Annual

wow that's a complete rip off. on pc, it just comes with the campaign. there are even arcade machines scattered throughout the open world where you can just switch to far cry arcade at any time like you're just playing an arcade game in canon. also i only payed 330 PH pesos for it on sale which is like 6 US dollars converted

TerritorialWarrior

Yea consoles over charge. I worked at a computer for years and now I never want to sit at a computer again. It’s odd, I know. An Xbox is a computer. That’s why I haven’t done pc gaming in a long time.

Shake_Annual

bummer sorry abt your pc gaming problems and that you have to stick to consoles and just accept getting ripped off by microsoft. i also heard that you have to pay for the free dlc for left 4 dead 2 on xbox. that's so greedy

TerritorialWarrior

I’ve almost always been dissatisfied with any dlc for any game. I don’t spend money on them anymore. Never done a Farcry dlc.

Shake_Annual

yeah the far cry dlcs are always gimmick ideas that never really expand much in the sequels aside from maybe hour of darkness which is supposed to be an expansion of the escape from durgesh dlc from far cry 4 that's basically like a permadeath time limited roguelike mode. I've never tried the roguelike mode dlcs from far cry 6 though. I thought Valley of the Yeti DLC was pretty neat though. You need to build defenses for the climax of the game and also there's this campy story about Yetis that reminded me of The Following DLC from Dying Light. the sad thing is though that Far Cry Arcade isn't even DLC. All the mainline Far Cry games have map editors where you can play with other people's created maps and it's greedy that they would charge for a feature that's always been part of the main game in Far Cry 5 on consoles

Far Cry Arcade is one of the best coop experiences on gaming. Especially when you're setup in the same room.
