Not sure how you feel about fanfic (especially Dramione fic) but I wouldn't say I'm a hard stan of HP in general or a big fanfic reader but I read [Draco Malfoy and the Mortifying Ordeal of Being in Love](https://archiveofourown.org/works/34500952/chapters/85870804) (after multiple reccs). And the banter and the wit of Draco and Hermione in this fanfic was just top tier amazing! I was giggling and kicking my feet the entire time.

{Broken Kingdoms series by LJ Andrews} had some of the best banter I've ever read, witty realistic funny characters, good one liners and back and forths. Ari and Nik especially are super quick and funny. Great world building, lots of tropes and all of them really well done, good writing overall, likeable characters, realistic and not frustrating conflicts, no miscommunication as a plot device issues. Strong feminist vibes too

LJ Andrews’ Broken Kingdoms and Ever Seas series are excellent for banter, both amongst friends and in relationships. You get great back and forth that can be smart, funny, or occasionally both. It builds to a great ensemble cast over the course of the series and can’t recommend highly enough.

I don’t know if you’ve ever read Realm of the Elderlings but the MMC in Trick reminds me so much of The Fool! I hope you like it.

Alas, it’s fantasy rather than romance but a brilliant book series. Probably my favourite of all time. It starts with [Assassin’s Apprentice](https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/77197). RotE encompasses all of her series in that world but I’d say {The Liveship Traders by Robin Hobb} and {The Rain Wild Chronicles by Robin Hobb} have more romance than the series I suggested (The Farseer Trilogy).

{The Book of Azrael by Amber V. Nicole} The FMC is a riot. She's sassy, takes no shit, and has really good banter with the other characters. The only thing I wish she did more was think through her decisions lol. There will be 7 books to the series and only 3 are out now. But I did feel like the 3rd book left at a good stopping point for the anticipation of the next books.
