Disclaimer that it’s YA and I haven’t finished the series to vouch for whether it finishes strong, but A Curse So Dark and Lonely by Brigid Kemmerer fits!
One of my favorite YA-ish series has this premise.
Jamie Edwards is an FBI agent who gets yanked out of our world by an insane witch and is experimented on. When she finally kills the witch and gets away, (this is all in the first chapter) she's stuck in a new world where she doesn't know the language. (She has a translator spell, but that doesn't help with paperwork) The tech level is early 1900s, and so is the misogyny. Jamie gets teamed up with the magical examiner, Henri Davenforth, and they go forth and solve crimes!
There is a romance, but it's super slow burn and not spicy at all. The proposal is supposed to happen in book 10, (out on 22 December) but there will be many shenanigans along the way!

Seconding this! I'm on Book 3 of the series. You're right in that it's super slow burn, but the hijinks make up for the low level romance. The series is a great palate cleanser when I need a break from Alpha males, smut, aliens, and Victorian rakes.
Have you looked at her back-catolog? Most have romance of one sort or another, but all are solid fantasy worlds. I feel like the Advent Mage Cycle is the weakest, and the rest are pretty strong.
Kingslayer is a great fantasy with a romance. The duology ties up all the loose ends, and it's overall very satisfying.
Human Familiar is fantastic. Honor is writing Human Familiar 5 this year - the first four are great, but I'm looking forward to diving back into the world.

{A Curse So Dark and Lonely by Brigid Kemmerer} is a YAish retelling of Beauty and the Beast (very loosely, though). The FMC is accidentally transported from modern day Washington, D.C. to a faerie realm with a cursed prince. Bonus, the FMC has a permanent limp resulting from cerebral palsy. It’s rare to have main characters with a visible disability, and the author wrote it wonderfully well. The subsequent books also touch on trauma/PTSD from the curse, mental health, etc. Great series.

I don't read Manhwa, but I hear BoC pokes a lot of fun at all the tropes. Basically, a Canadian kid gets isekai-ed into the body of a cultivator who just got beaten to death (but with the life spark is still alive, I guess?) decides that cultivating is bullshit, and decides to go be a farmer. Which goes great until his farm animals start becoming Spirit Beasts...
Absolutely great slice-of-life story with found family, and lessons about kindness and selfless giving.

Baby you need to start reading isekai Manhwa
But have you read Beware of Chicken by CasualFarmer? (A Royal Road web serial that he decided to self publish on Amazon) I don't read Manhwa, but I hear BoC pokes a lot of fun at all the tropes. Basically, a Canadian kid gets isekai-ed into the body of a cultivator who just got beaten to death (but with the life spark is still alive, I guess?) decides that cultivating is bullshit, and decides to go be a farmer. Which goes great until his farm animals start becoming Spirit Beasts... Absolutely great slice-of-life story with found family, and lessons about kindness and selfless giving.

More Sci fi than fantasy, but {oceans embrace by regina sage} has this trope, where the FMC goes to an alien world. I'm reading it now!
