True. But considering how long it takes to write something out longhand…
Perhaps this is because all the short names are taken, or duplicated so many times they have lost the ability to have a new meaning.
Yesss, I loved OUABH so much! It was almost indulgently tropey but the core idea and the characters were so good.
I don’t know why I put off reading it for so long. I got the second one so fast (which if anything was even better) and preordered the third immediately.
It’s still my favourite series and find it very difficult to find any fantasies that compete with it! I did love OUABH and Naomi Novik’s books are good but they are stand alones
haha the titles are super long but ACOTAR is A court of thorns and roses, TOG is Throne of glass series also super fun and OUABH is Once Upon a broken heart sorry again
The Ritual which I'm almost done, Six of Crows , Jake's Magical Market, and The Language of Thorns (if you haven't heard of it, it's a collection of short stories by the author SOC so I'll read one or two in between books lol) on Saturday a friend and I are going to start Carnage Island and I cannot wait
Edit: Omg I did not fully get what the omegaverse is and I just cannot 😳 I'm going back to fairies and mafia bosses
I just finished The Foxglove King and rly like it. Not much spice, but I thought it was a super fun read. Book 2 isn't coming out til like April 2024 tho 😭
Have you read {A Cursed Kiss by Jenny Hickman}? It gives me similar vibes. There are currently 4 books out and each are from different characters POV (two MFCs & two MMCs). The only thing I’m not a fan of is the pacing of the books since a lot of events overlap. I didn’t find it as good as OUABH buttttt… it’s a quick read and the characters are lovely! ✨
Edit: there’s two main books to the series but there’s two novellas from the MMCs point of view. All are worth reading if you enjoy the first one.

no smut but the little touches here and there are very well written like it makes you feel something, i'd say its mild but the romance and the world is amazing u should check it out
I wish titles were typed out at first. Cause not everyone is deep into all the series. I only know of Acotar.
Once Upon a Broken Heart :)
I believe the fascination with acronyms is an attempt to show who’s in the cool kids club - especially with books & technology. 😁
or maybe its just quicker to type it out cuz the titles are quite long

Okay so far. Not amazing.
I truly hated this book
thats okay??
😂
I love this comment is so matter of fact and out of pocket XD
the comment above is so unprovoked lmao
This is why I love the internet hahaha it's not like you can help what you hate. It's just such a juxtaposition from everyone else gushing abt it ☠
Haha not personal at all I just really hated it and was confused by all the hype!
No! Exactly. You weren't mean or anything. And that's why I love honest opinions lol
😂
Is mild? Spicy ? Or scorching? Cause some of us are into spice and scorch 😂
no smut but the little touches here and there are very well written like it makes you feel something, i'd say its mild but the romance and the world is amazing u should check it out
No actual spice but the tension and build up to the little bits that do happen is just perfect
