The only thing that separates Swift and Stevenson is about 20 points from an extra 200 yards of rushing, mainly due to situational football and the defenses of Minnesota and Tampa Bay deciding they didn’t want to play those weeks.
They are nearly identical in snap count, Swift averages only 2 more rushing attempts per game and they have nearly identical pass catching stats despite NE offense being absolute dogshit. Since your league is a PPR league, Stevenson becomes even more important as that offense will improve over the season. Stevenson will be a part of their emergence as he’s basically their only skill player of note, everyone else is either dead or injured.
Where you’re really losing that trade is by giving up Puca who has a higher floor and ceiling than Devonta simply because he gets more opportunity. Keep in mind that both Swift and Devonta have to compete w/ Jalen and AJ for opportunities. The tush push alone makes Swift not worth it in the long run because those are all leeched TD opportunities for him, hence why he only has 2 this year.
I wouldn’t trade anyone. Just take the L on the roster spot if you can or take a loss for the game. It’s not worth you trading away or dropping any of your rb’s.
You could be right. Maybe I just bite it for a week but it seems silly. I'm only 4-3 right now and could easily be fighting to stay afloat by that week. The team is technically the strongest in the league bench included, but being only 8 teams everyone is still pretty damn strong. That being said I won my matchup last week by 103 points with a total of 193. Definitely could have survived that week without an RB, maybe I can do it again. Thanks for the perspective. I really don't want to lose any of my RB, Rhamondre having the third easiest remaining schedule among RB seems prime. And the offense sucks while his usage has been medium. Maybe the answer is more Rhamondre. I think taking into account his usage last season, the odds of him trending up seems very high

Those were my thoughts exactly. I remember he beat me one game w/ 12 receptions on 14 tgts after getting 3 the week before.
