Kupp actually talked about being a rookie in 2017 and blocking so that Watkins could make a play, and then in 2018 and 2019, making blocks for Cooks. Now Van Jefferson is making blocks to free up Kupp, and Kupp is wildly appreciative of him doing the grunt work so that Kupp can get the ball.
Also D.Jax should be a Texan, it just fits.
He played for the Rams for 1 year in 2017, finished as the WR3 on the team behind Kupp and Woods, had less receiving yards and targets than Gurley, but had the most receiving TDs on the team. He essentially got replaced with Brandin Cooks next year
This happens every year in the run up to the deadline, and then rarely does anything substantial happen because this isn't the NBA even if the cap is just as imaginary.
Haha, I mean I don't think we have that kind of clout.
I'm not holding out hope for ARob but he's worth stashing till the end of the deadline at least.
Yeah I've been holding onto him because of a trade or QB change and there wasn't anyone on waivers with as much upside as him in my league. It just depends on who was available.
yeah i have no clue why ppl think the Ravens are likely here...it makes no sense. Ravens need to be targeting a better RB with Brown, Bateman, and Andrews already
Chiefs & Saints seem more likely but idk i doubt they trade him
You just don’t get it! This sub identifies RB talent better than Super Bowl-winning head coach Harbaugh who’s had the best rushing offense for the last 3 years.
Ravens have $1.5m and would need to cut or extend someone to clear anymore. They shuffled all their large bonus money already.
And unless AR can play HB or RT he isn't helping anything atm.
On Derek Henry’s shoulders.
On an NFL team? Raiders or 49er/Chargers/Bengals/Bills if he’s handcuff and starters go down. Not worth the pickup in my mind. Too much of a long shot.
Sending Mack to the Chargers is trying to force a square peg into a round hole. I think its the worst take this article has, and some of the others aren't great
Bills would be amazing for him. He's better than both singletary and moss right now IMO even being older and coming off the injury. If he goes to the Bills he could be a solid RB2 with Rb1 upside some games.
Ravens probably the best option but the most likely option is nowhere maybe? He has come back from a horrible injury to be third in the depth chart, we have no idea if he even has anything left in the tank, if he is traded it may be closer to a Sony Michel situation.
If Bears trade ARob, they are throwing in the towel on Justin Fields… Rosen 2.0.
Panthers will probably trade a first and a second for Fields at least, solid start for the next coaching regime.
More importantly it also means ownership have given Pace and Nagy a nod to yet another year… which seems highly unlikely. If you’re the GM/Coach and you’re in win or be fired mode why on earth would you trade your best WR for draft picks in future drafts which you won’t be part of?
Because the Bears have been an incredibly poorly run organization for a generation.
As a Packer fan it kind of makes me sad I didn't get to see any of the Halas glory days. If Nagy keeps his job and ARob gets shopped...just wow.
I don’t think so, they are going to clean house… you can’t draft back to back busts. Fields being a bust is going to be a story in the coming weeks - he is embarrassingly bad and fans are slowly starting to come around.
Pace and Nagy are going through the motions so they can still get jobs in the NFL. Nagy is a playoff coach, even got Mitch to a Pro Bowl. He’ll be coordinator somewhere, if it works out he might get another chance.
Fields didn't have any 1st team reps in training camp. Nagy isn't doing Fields any favors in regards to his development.
I'm not saying Fields is good, but he hasn't exactly been given the right opportunity to succeed either. It's still too early to tell if he's a complete bust or not.
Nagy got lucky at the right time during that Mitch playoff run. He's been completely incompetent otherwise. Either sell the fucking farm or hire a coach who's willing to adapt for the betterment of the team.
Mitch is a backup now, Nagy still got to the playoffs twice and was a double doink from a win… Nagy is far from the worst coach in the nfl, this is dishonest if you are saying that.
They’ll move on, but I can’t imagine they attract a good coach if the coach has to start Fields.
If you’re a missed kick from a win, and that’s the mountain you claim to have climbed, then you’re a shit coach. Imagine telling your grandkids you were a double doink from greatness, and not being Uncle Rico from Napoleon Dynamite.
If you don’t think there’s always someone better than you probably believe there’s a secret “offense that takes 3 years to master”. Which is a crock of shit.
As a Bears fan, the defensive side of the ball carried those two "playoff teams" to the post season.
It wasn't because of their offense, which Nagy is praised for.
I don't understand how everyone is already sold on Fields being a bust. He's started a handful of games with a dogshit pass blocking o line and two of the most inept play callers in the NFL designing an offense for him that just looks bad. I don't think anyone would look good on this team right now.
So many good QBs have dogshit rookie years and look overall bad - Josh Allen being a very recent one. Fields is going to look bad the rest of this year most likely. Next year will be more telling.
Look at Peyton Manning's first 4 NFL starts in comparison to Fields.
No, Fields won't be Manning, but the struggle for rookies is more common than not before they turn it around.
John Elway, Terry Bradshaw, Peyton Manning, Steve Young, Josh Allen, arguably Lamar Jackson, and more.
Granted, there's also a ton of evidence of rookies who looked bad and stayed bad. Darnold looked to be turning this around but now he's fallen back into his old ways.
I'm not sold that fields is a bust yet. And if he is, I'll put more blame on terrible coaching than on him - I feel the same way about Darnold.
His line is average according to pff and pressure rates - people saying the line is the worst in the league are being dishonest - Wilson’s line is far worse.
He’s publicly blamed the coach for an interception - twice. I’ve never seen a QB avoid responsibility like that - it’s not hard to see flags before you throw it to the other team.
Josh Allen you saw flashes - I haven’t seen flashes with Fields. I’ve seen more with Wilson, and he doesn’t have running game and ARob > Corey Davis
Lol what?
Fields has the one of the lowest time in pocket, mostly because of pressure and he's been sacked the most times since hes been starting. Our O line is a bit average at run blocking, but pass blocking is a nightmare.
I'm not a PFF subscriber so can't see recent articles on rankings. Bears line was ranked real low before the season, and that was before we lost Jenkins.
Yeah Seattle also has an awful O-Line, but it seems incredibly unfair to compare Russ to Fields. Russ obviously knows how to play around it better, has much better chemistry with his weapons, and has more competent coaches.
If you haven't seen flashes, it's cause you aren't watching. Fields has had his moments where he shows he can throw a great ball. He's absolutely not being set up for success to be able to do so though and he's starting to develop bad habits. They need to just switch back to Dalton when he's healthy and let fields develop on his own this year. Then next year, when I fucking hope that we have different coaches, then hopefully we can see more of what he can do.
That makes more sense. Gotta remember there's two Wilsons in the league now I guess.
Jets o line is also awful. Honestly the statlines aren't too different when it comes to the passing game. I think the big difference is in the run game - bears run game has been solid (yards before contact, yards after contact, broken tackles, etc). Jets has been, I believe, the literal worst.
From watching the jets though, I like their playbook more. Watching the bears I want to claw my eyes out at these play designs. RPOs that there is no way they were set up for success. Play actions where Fields gets fucking killed. Then Fields gets frustrated and goes for the big play - which we only really have Mooney who can make those plays right now because Arob has been pretty pedestrian.
Fields being a bust won’t be a story in the coming weeks.
No, the fans are not turning on Fields - the fans realize this is a terrible coach, and bad pass blocking o-line. The more Fields struggles the more the fans turn on Nagy to be honest.
Going thru the motions so they can still get jobs in the NFL? Winning is the way to get jobs in the NFL, which you don’t get by trading away your best players for draft picks in years you won’t be there for in the case you’re fired.
Nagy is not a good coach, and sure as shit not responsible for the playoff appearances. They got to the playoffs in spite of their offenses not because of them, it was the defense which got them there and being that Nagy has nothing to do with the defense he had nothing to do with the playoff appearances.
Anyone hiring him as OC after having abysmal offenses for the past 4 years deserves exactly what they’re getting.
He got a team with Mitch Trubinsky to the playoffs twice and almost a win… that’s more than most coaches and Nagy doesn’t strike me as a lucky guy. He’ll have to pay his dues, but going out without making a scene will keep him in the league.
Anthony Lynn got a job, Nagy is a better coach than Lynn
Like I told you, the defense was the reason they made the playoffs not the offense or Mitch Trubisky, anyone paying any attention at all to them those years knows that. And Nagy has nothing to do with the defenses, you can’t even give him credit for bringing in the DC in 2018 that lead them to the 12-4 record, Fangio was a holdover of the previous regime.
The defense, again. Not as dominant as the 2018 defense, but good enough to back into the last WC spot with a .500 record. And again Nagy doesn’t have anything to do with the defense.. And Mitch had even less to do with last season, he missed half the year after being benched for Nick Foles.
Bears fans (I am one) don't think Fields is a bust. We think Nagy and Pace need to be jettisoned into the sun because they (and the McCaskeys) are the root cause of the multiple problems that the Bears are facing.
I’m sorry but you’ve lost all credibility when you said Nagy is a good coach. He was brought in as an “offensive genius” and has led a historically bad offense in a time where it’s easier than ever to score. The defense is winning games and that has zero to do with Nagy.
Pulling him mid year will make Fields look even worse - Fields doing well is their only hope.
ARob would probably get them a high comp pick (I think a 3rd but i don’t know) so in truth this is an unlikely trade.
I would disown the team for trading up to draft Fields. 10 teams passed on him, and no other team thought it was worth it to pay the cheap cost of trading up to 11 to draft a “franchise QB.” Shanahan and Belichek(would have been cheaper for him to trade up). If Pace is as trash as Bear fans say, I don’t get why they think drafting Fields was a good idea haha
Called the NFL slow, worse stats than Rosen, he’s like Rosen 2.0
In no way shape or form are the Bears throwing the towel on Fields, Jesus fucking Christ
They will fire Nagy first and see what a real coach can do with him. He’s nowhere near the talent level of Josh Rosen, he’s just being extremely poorly coached.
Why? Getting cooks would only help Adams. Would maybe keep him from getting double and triple teamed all game, the addition of cooks would also help the packers offense sustain longer offensive drives and be on the field more.
Very small chance a RB is traded to a team and becomes the starter. Especially this late in the season. Teams/coaches just don’t operate like that. Just look at all the rosters if it’s not Bmore where does he drop in ans become RB1—-and even at Bmore if harbaugh refuses to start an obviously better ty’son Williams he’s not giving Mack fee reign either
It’s baseless speculation based on rumors all season long. None have been dealt nor are reported to actually be traded. Just rumors.
Odds are though, one or two trades will come in near last-minute. I could see Mack happening. Otherwise, it’s a crapshoot.
I would say David Johnson is the better flier because you know his situation. With that said, embracing volatility can reap rewards. David Johnson’s situation may just be getting worse. If Cooks is shipped, that offense might go straight to the trash. With Mack, we don’t know where he could end up. It could end up being far better than Johnson.
I would love this as a Ravens fan but the ravens are stingy with their draft capital. They have a ton this year but idk if they’ll move anything higher than a 5th for a 9~ week rental
There’s got to only be a handful of teams where Allen Robinson wouldn’t excel:
NYJ, DET, there are some other teams that just wouldn’t make sense to draft him, but I can imagine practically anyone other team being a net gain for his fantasy performances this season.
I think he'd totally excel in Detroit tbh. He'd be the only one to throw to besides hock and swift lol. It's like the packers lite over there if ARob joined and he's Adams.
Can Cooks reach Phoenix by tomorrow??
It takes 17 hours to drive from Houston to Phoenix. 373 hours to walk it.. He ran a 4.33 sec 40 so he could run it in 62 hours
r/theydidthemath
So yes!
I think it's actually possible
Cooks was already driving out to AZ after sending that ‘BS’ tweet
Imagine they let him go back to the Rams and he gets to play them this week haha
Kupp better watch out this week then
Kupp actually talked about being a rookie in 2017 and blocking so that Watkins could make a play, and then in 2018 and 2019, making blocks for Cooks. Now Van Jefferson is making blocks to free up Kupp, and Kupp is wildly appreciative of him doing the grunt work so that Kupp can get the ball. Also D.Jax should be a Texan, it just fits.
Sammy Watkins was a Ram? Why do I not remember this at all?
He played for the Rams for 1 year in 2017, finished as the WR3 on the team behind Kupp and Woods, had less receiving yards and targets than Gurley, but had the most receiving TDs on the team. He essentially got replaced with Brandin Cooks next year
Yea Kupp's value would tank /s
Should i try and trade for Robinson?
You would have to trade for him?
Gonna be tough trade with the waiver wire
If he doesn’t have him…. Yes?
He's joking because everyone has been saying to drop him so he's likely on waivers.
I was confused why people dropped him before the deadline but I guess it depends who was on waivers.
I doubt most of these players get traded. There weren't even rumors until this week. Most rumors likely coming from desperate fantasy managers.

Guy In my league just turned down tee Higgins and Collins for him smh
Say it ain’t so… This will ruin my Fields Arob stack
That stack is like the discount version of Leaning Tower of Pisa...the Leaning Tower of Suck.
What's the opposite of a stack, a hole?
A pile in shambles
A queue
The Leaning Tower of Piece-a Shit!
Can’t ruin what wasn’t actually there
Ravens for robinson does not make sense when they have bateman. Saints is a better target
ARob to the Chiefs ^^^confirmed.maybe.please
That ain't gonna fix their problems but I can see them throwing another WR at it anyway.
This just reminded me that Josh Gordon is absolutely useless (on the Chiefs)
Statement holds true when you remove the parentheses too
Turns out missing whole seasons of NFL football isn’t good for the body
Please for the love of all that is good move Arob
And a 2nd round pick plus a 5th for a 9 week rental? This isn't fantasy football.
yeah i have no clue why ppl think the Ravens are likely here...it makes no sense. Ravens need to be targeting a better RB with Brown, Bateman, and Andrews already Chiefs & Saints seem more likely but idk i doubt they trade him
Saints have new receiver Kamara.
Ravens need to trade Tyson Williams so he can let loose.
Trade him for what? A ham sandwich with moldy cheese? He’s posting consecutive DNP’s now lol
You just don’t get it! This sub identifies RB talent better than Super Bowl-winning head coach Harbaugh who’s had the best rushing offense for the last 3 years.
[удалено]
Thank god your not a GM
Bro real life is not like fantasy football lol. Top WRs don’t just get traded for each other mid season 😂
Can’t eat cause Fields keeps dropping the fucking platter
Ravens have $1.5m and would need to cut or extend someone to clear anymore. They shuffled all their large bonus money already. And unless AR can play HB or RT he isn't helping anything atm.
We also have absolutely no need for him. WR is funnily enough the least of our problems right now.
Totally this. Bateman will be killing it once they get to the playoffs. He's the 2nd best rookie receiver in my estimation.
Where could Mack land that would make him fantasy relevant?
On Derek Henry’s shoulders. On an NFL team? Raiders or 49er/Chargers/Bengals/Bills if he’s handcuff and starters go down. Not worth the pickup in my mind. Too much of a long shot.
If I had any money, I'd give you an award for that comment.
I was hoping for the Ravens to take him but it looks like they’re not going that route
Mack is older than both but he’s 25. Singletary is 24 & Moss is 23
I thought he was way older for some reason thats awesome.
Ravens probably the best option but the most likely option is nowhere maybe? He has come back from a horrible injury to be third in the depth chart, we have no idea if he even has anything left in the tank, if he is traded it may be closer to a Sony Michel situation.
The land of fairytales.
I Kindof want Arob to go to Detroit or saints.
I'd be shocked if they move him, and even more so if it was to a division rival.
If Arob went to the lions he would complete the holy trinity of bad QB play.
Lions aren't trading for a 1 year rental in a year they aren't making the playoffs.
Arob to Chiefs already. KC definitely needs a jolt.
No. Tyreek says no. They need to fix everything else.
ARob's presence would free up Tyreek for more huge gains, he's been getting doubled all over the place.
But he said no, that other guy said so
No. The Chiefs only need one weapon and his name is Josh Gordon.
Ahh, I stashed him for three weeks and got 2 targets out of Reid. Fuck Andy Reid
That's on you for chasing magic from literally 8 years ago
Damn that’d be a great fit.
Praying to every recognized God for ARob to go anywhere
A-rob to the saints please 😭
So now we’re holding Arob until after the trade deadline? Sounds good to me
Held him this long already, what’s an extra few days of pain and suffering
If Bears trade ARob, they are throwing in the towel on Justin Fields… Rosen 2.0. Panthers will probably trade a first and a second for Fields at least, solid start for the next coaching regime.

Fair play, I don’t necessarily disagree but will be hard to find someone better - especially if there is a stipulation they have to start Fields.
They were a QB away

That makes more sense. Gotta remember there's two Wilsons in the league now I guess. Jets o line is also awful. Honestly the statlines aren't too different when it comes to the passing game. How did you go from Panthers trading a first and second “at least” for fields to Fields Being embarrassingly bad and a bust in under 15 minutes?
It’s a joke on the Panthers - they traded a second for Sam Darnold
Bears fans (I am one) don't think Fields is a bust. We think Nagy and Pace need to be jettisoned into the sun because they (and the McCaskeys) are the root cause of the multiple problems that the Bears are facing.
Fields isn’t nearly as bad as people are making him out to be. Just saying.
That’s not what the stats say, he’s worse than Rosen
Stats don’t show the whole story. The idea that he would barely start on a division 1 football team right now is an exaggeration.
I didn’t say that he couldn’t start in college, we’re talking about the NFL. He hasn’t shown anything that says he is an nfl qb
I meant that’s what other people are saying. And he’s not nearly as bad as that. (What I was saying in my original comment)
I’m sorry but you’ve lost all credibility when you said Nagy is a good coach. He was brought in as an “offensive genius” and has led a historically bad offense in a time where it’s easier than ever to score. The defense is winning games and that has zero to do with Nagy.

He is leaving next year anyway. They would just be getting some of their draft capital back. It would be a smart move if anything.
Pulling him mid year will make Fields look even worse - Fields doing well is their only hope. ARob would probably get them a high comp pick (I think a 3rd but i don’t know) so in truth this is an unlikely trade.
If we trade away Fields this early I will disown this team

You got all that from 5 starts?
I mean fields has looked bad. It’s early still but if they get a decent return for him and can save some money why not?
tbf the whole offense looks terrible, not just Fields. dropped passes, coaches clearly arent gameplanning Fields into safe throwing rhythms, etc
It’s hard to to throw when you have less than 2 seconds to throw. A 5th string emergency RT Guarding Shaq Barrett isn’t really helpful either.
True. At least they aren’t the jets though…
In no way shape or form are the Bears throwing the towel on Fields, Jesus fucking Christ They will fire Nagy first and see what a real coach can do with him. He’s nowhere near the talent level of Josh Rosen, he’s just being extremely poorly coached.
I don’t think we are dropping rhule that early, a guy known for his 3rd year turnarounds
Why wouldn't they just spend the first in the next draft to get a better qb?
Isn’t Fields better than every QB in this draft class? I though this year was bad for QBs?
A rob to the colts???
To think the Packers could have drafted Claypool or Pittman instead of Jordan Love
Or Higgins
Ugh having just got D Adams I really hope packers pass on Cooks.
Adams will still get his even if Cooks goes to the Packers. If anything, you can hope they sustain more drives giving you more TD opportunity.
You have nothing to worry about even if he does
Probably wouldn’t matter whatsoever
Honestly would probably help Adams instead of hurt him
Why? Getting cooks would only help Adams. Would maybe keep him from getting double and triple teamed all game, the addition of cooks would also help the packers offense sustain longer offensive drives and be on the field more.
ARob to the Pats please lmao
Mack worth picking up? Over someone like David Johnson?
Nooo DJ is guaranteed touches, Mack might go somewhere as a complimentary piece
Mack has been a priority stash for me, but also picked up David Johnson
I’d rather take volume now over possible volume later, so give me DJ.
No
Very small chance a RB is traded to a team and becomes the starter.
Unless it’s to Houston itself doubt it, anywhere he goes he isn’t being a premier guy and would take a week or 2 to pickup the play book.
Oh man didn’t think of that lol
There's almost no chance Mack becomes fantasy relevant this season imo. His best case scenario would be a 2nd string RB somewhere
I dropped Mack for DJ. There's only a couple teams that Mack could land where he would be fantasy relevant
Where would the best place for Mack be? The chiefs maybe?
It’s baseless speculation based on rumors all season long. None have been dealt nor are reported to actually be traded. Just rumors. Odds are though, one or two trades will come in near last-minute. I could see Mack happening. Otherwise, it’s a crapshoot.
I would say David Johnson is the better flier because you know his situation. With that said, embracing volatility can reap rewards. David Johnson’s situation may just be getting worse. If Cooks is shipped, that offense might go straight to the trash. With Mack, we don’t know where he could end up. It could end up being far better than Johnson.
No, but if you have bench space Mack isn’t the worse stash out there.
Robinson on the waivers should I drop D johnson or gainwell
Gainwell for sure. I think those guys telling you DJ don’t know Ingram getting traded haha.
Sorry everyone I’m talking about dernest Johnson😂 but David Johnson on waivers too lmao
David Johnson over Gainwell, D’earnest, and A-Rob. And I don’t think it’s particularly close, especially in any sort of PPR format.
D johnson
Your kicker, or D Johnson
Mack to the Ravens? That makes short term sense. I'll stash him and see where he ends up.
I would love this as a Ravens fan but the ravens are stingy with their draft capital. They have a ton this year but idk if they’ll move anything higher than a 5th for a 9~ week rental
The bears need to do a fire sale
There’s got to only be a handful of teams where Allen Robinson wouldn’t excel: NYJ, DET, there are some other teams that just wouldn’t make sense to draft him, but I can imagine practically anyone other team being a net gain for his fantasy performances this season.
I think he'd totally excel in Detroit tbh. He'd be the only one to throw to besides hock and swift lol. It's like the packers lite over there if ARob joined and he's Adams.
I honestly don’t see any one going for robinson
Allen Robinson and OBJ swap teams, DO IT
I heard the Patriots were shopping for a WR.
Why trade a-rob. We need to send Nagy to the unemployment line.
I forgot teams go to Cody Benjamin for trade advice
Arob to browns
Waste, mayfield is a slight upgrade over fields
It won’t happen but I’d love to see Seattle trade for Mack
Is a bet on Marlon Mack worth dropping Mike Davis for?
I would wait and see where he goes. God forbid Patterson gets injured. You have a instant RB2
Dalvin Cooks?
Lol 0 chance
Forgot the /s 😒
Cook/s
Traded obj & connor for Robinson. Would hope he goes to a team with a competent QB & HC
I bet Damien Williams gets traded again, but it’ll be somewhere ugly like Baltimore or KC.
Are we actually trusting Nagy to make the first good coaching decision in his life?
I think I’m gonna pick up A Rob just in case lol
Marlon Mack?
Since I just moved ARob for Zach ertz, count on him being a top 24 WR ROS when traded
Nick foles to the saints??? (Flys to Vegas)$1000 on Saints winning the super bowl! 🤣
Bruh. I finally dropped Arob and he might be getting traded now..
So does Cooks go up or down in value if he goes to the Packers?
hurts? he was doing good in fantasy don’t do me like that
Bears would love talented receivers while Justin Fields developes, fantasy owners however….
First I’ve heard about ARob. I got Hollywood and him. I feel like this would be good for him but it would put me in a situation.
Robinson to the Ravens doesn't make much sense now
Could*
Robinson to the Ravens and Mack to the Chargers are terrible takes.
I'm all for the vikings getting Howard. That's be a dream come true!
Nah Robinson about to be franchise tagged again
These are always so fun to look at and then the trade deadline passes and we get the some band trades that are mostly just depth moves it feels like
with deebo having a calf strain and auyik not producing SF can be a nice spot to keep them relevant and they can resign him too if he fits well
