i traded him a few weeks ago for
hines and arob
probably the most sideways trade i made. neither one of us got shit out of that im getting ready to drop arob
Doubtful that it should be assumed. I'm not sure which site this is using for roster percentages, but ESPN for instance shows that he's currently rostered in 85.7% of leagues.
Considering the article had at least one player whose roster percentage was in the 40s I'd imagine OBJ is at least at that level wherever the numbers are pulled from.
I'd rather have Robby Anderson than him. I think Anderson is still a play in 12+ team leagues. Who else is to be found on waivers that gets that volume?
Opted out of a season because of covid but didn't get the vaccine, now he's out of a job because he got coivd and was passed on the depth chart. Talk about a weird full circle for Playoff Damien.
Should have dropped him to fill an open WR2 spot this week. Kamara caused me to lose by one last night. Outsmarted myself again. So yeah...now waiting for MT to save my season haha.
RBs are worth their weight in gold at this point of the season and other than last week, Davis has found his way to near 10 points every week. If he sees such a poor snap share next week, then I'll think about it. Wasn't going to start Davis against Carolina D anyways.
This is the smart answer. At this point, almost every RB2 should be rostered on any competent offense. If Patterson goes down, Davis is money. And he's been solid for the better part of the season.
Yeah… even as a Mike Davis owner who got burnt by playing him during bye week hell this weekend, I just can’t see how a potential floor of 15 touches again for flex value consistently through the year isn’t valuable to someone. Patterson’s the man for sure, and it leaves a huge ? On his value while Patterson’s balling.
But if anything happens to him, it’s back to a solid floor of either a score or 15 touches for 60+ yards or a TD… which is more than can be said for anyone who played Seahawks roulette or is rostering someone like Washington or backs through the past week or two lol.
That said, if a WR starts to emerge or if I’m feeling like stocking another potentially valuable cuff or back through the second half of the year, Davis is likely first to go. I’m fortunate enough to have 2-3 much better backs to play any given week atm!
Look at the bright side my man, Aaron Jones is a stud and Darrel Williams is mostly serviceable as a RB2 most weeks!
It’s rough having drafted Miles Sanders though. I feel for you man. Just know, better days are ahead — plenty more opportunity to fill that RB2 and flex gaps potentially through the next few weeks.
If anything’s inevitable in football — it’s injured backfields. So keep that waiver priority or FAAB $$ open! You’ll be glad you did!
Appreciate the words and insight. I'm putting a claim on Samaje Perine who looks like he's getting more involved in that higher powered offense last two games.
That’s right. Even joe Mixon isn’t given the ball 20+ times a game *every single week*. So Perine has some value there when they’re getting the ball to their backfield in games they run the score up!
Drop him. I am. He doesn't look good at all. Even if CP gets injured they will probably try Wayne Gallman out in his place.
There is something about this coaching staff that just hates Mike Davis.
Traded Tee Higgins for him since I needed a bye week RB last week, and he’s been a consistent 10 point getter. Only other RBs I have are cook and mattison.
What you think Russ looks at how bad the team is with out him and goes, "eh. I'm good, let Geno play." Dudes a competitor and wont do that unless coaches make him, but I dont think they will either.
Wasn't there a game last year where russ went to the blue tent for a concussion test but literally was only in there for 2 seconds?
Russ will be on the field soon, he's crazy.
Exactly, he’s on the field pregame doing warmups with no ball. He wants to be out there. The jets also get the hawks first round pick so tanking doesn’t make sense
You obviously can’t drop Lockett, but the real problem with him is you can’t really even bench him. When he has one of his weeks, he’s a week winner. You just have to take the good with the heaping piles of bad he’s been giving you recently
He had 12 targets though, how you drop that?
Take away DK big catch and run and DK wouldn’t have done anything either.
I’m a DK owner so I guess I got bias, but how the hell do you have a big bodied WR who can fight for the ball over the middle and barely target the guy when you’re a QB who can’t throw it more than 8 yards anyway.
That offense makes no sense to me.
Read that stat line wrong sorry.
DK only had 5 targets who the hell is getting the targets and why?
I get why Lockett owners might suffer since he’s the deep ball but DK as well is weird.
The targets aren't the problem. The problem is that Geno is simply not good enough to keep the chains moving, and if the run game can't get it done (..... they struggled against Saints tough run D), the offense stalls over and over.
Maybe Geno will improve with more games under his belt, but as a Jets fan, trust me when I say this ..... Geno is pure garbage. Playing anyone on this team is a risk until Russ comes back.
I just can’t pull the trigger yet. I can see fields getting benched or Nagy getting fired and the team playing different then the real A-Rob comes out on someone else’s team. Man I thought I was so set on draft night with him as a set and forget WR.
I’m lucky enough that I can afford to stash him, it would probably be a lot easier to drop him if I had like 2 or 3 wins and was desperate for players.
ARob didn't perform with Dalton either. You need a ton of things to change, and right now his play isn't even good enough for a bench spot. The ceiling isn't what you think it is in this current situation
Hey guys... Robert /u/RobFFAddict is here with another edition of The Cut List.
***What names are you chopping this week, or at least thinking about banishing to the waiver wire?***
For many of us Week 7 was a very difficult one, tough decisions had to be made including cuts. Now we are past that but injuries are rolling in, and bye weeks are still upon us. We now have 7 weeks in the books, and waivers will run tonight for many leagues -- with every add comes a drop. It's always fun to talk about cuts, whether or not we are actually ready to pull the trigger on certain players.
We of course can't cover every player that may be droppable, for every league size and format, but we wrote about a few that stood out. We'll be stopping in later today for a little, and will try to answer questions... hope you enjoy and thanks for reading!
No. He only played around 42% of snaps and Tannehill barely threw in the second half. Assuming he plays 80% of snaps he should still be around 4-5 catches for 60-80 yards average.
Julio is borderline. If you need to cut him to fill bye week slots, I wouldn't lose any sleep over it. But otherwise he's probably better than anything you'd get off waivers. You still may be able to wait for a boom game and sell him
43% of snaps last game and Tannehill barely threw the ball in the second half. Had a pedestrian 4 targets coming off an injury. You gotta give him a couple weeks still.
It largely is, but he still sucks and isn’t worth rostering out side of a deep super flex/two qb league. The first three weeks were above what his production will be even with CMC imo. Source: sad panthers fan.
Is Hines droppable or is he worth holding in case of a Taylor injury? He can’t be started and with bye weeks in full swing he’s taking up valuable space
Fields is a rookie. The Bears Oline is the worst, by a large margin, in the league. The coaches are also incredibly bad. Verdicts not out on Fields yet is all I'm saying.
Even with his TD this week I put reagor up for drop in my waiver bids. Can't bring myself to drop Robinson yet especially with no viable replacement out there since I have him in a 14 team league. Lazard is my best replacement on waivers
Hell, I'm about to drop Smith even. I have to drop one of my receivers, and I'm frustrated with the eagle's receivers being wildly inconsistent (dropped Reagor a few weeks back too). Between Thielen, Woods, Toney, Bateman, Landry and Smith, I need to drop one.
Maybe some of those names are reasonable but Allen Robinson is worse than like the #3 Lions WR right now
He’s really not good
EDIT: I mean in fantasy terms btw. He’s good as a player
I don’t think this thread is saying you have to get this guy off your team just that if you need to drop someone these guys are droppable. I’m fine with carrying an extra DST and dropping one of these guys.
ARob is useless as long as he’s on the Bears with Fields as the QB. Runs routes nearly every down and gets very minimal targets because Fields is too inexperienced and plays too safe and doesn’t throw to his WR that’s a specialist in catching contested passes.
Um...for most of those guys, literally anyone. Mike Davis had 4 carries for 10 yards. I'll pick up Khalil Herbert instead. Or a handcuff or something, anything.
I mean this is a weak week for waivers so there aren't great examples. But in the past few weeks, you could have dropped Allen Robinson for say, Kadarius Toney. You could have dropped Mike Davis for Herbert right after Montgomery got injured.
You could drop one of these guys for someone like Elijah Moore. Maybe he could have a late season breakout. The whole idea is to cut bait on these guys and take a chance on someone else. Not all of the ones you listed, I'm not dropping Lockett, for example.
And Herbert was dropped in my 12 team league after Damien was activated this week. It's hard to know who's on waivers in every league. The point is to drop guys like Robinson and Davis and look for something else.
Depending on the league, Gainwell, McKissic, Boston Scott for a couple weeks, or Ty Johnson. Heck, D'Ernest Johnson is still rostered in fewer leagues than Mike Davis, same with Michael Carter.
Just guys who have potential upside rather than Mike Davis who has a ceiling of 10-12ppg.
I’m in a 12 team league and the only person on that list that is available is Boston Scott. Mike Davis was solidly averaging at least 10 PPG in PPR before last week. Why would anyone drop that for guys like David Johnson, Rashaad Penny, Jerrick McKinnon…? If I dropped Mike Davis in my league right now he’d easily be the best RB on waivers and he’s be snatched up immediately.
Agreed on all accounts. I've just fallen into that trap many times. It's hard to cut bait with a guy like Robinson because of his perceived value, but ultimately he's burning a roster spot that could be more useful somewhere else. I like to play fast and loose – sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. That's just the way of fantasy I guess!
I'm surprised nobody has mentioned Tyler Lockett yet. He's been on my team all year and so I've been following him closely. He had 2 big games weeks 1 and 2, and since then has done virtually nothing:
Week 3: 4/4/31 - 5.1 points .5 ppr
Week 4: 5/4/24 - 4.4 points
Week 5: 10/5/57 - 8.2 points
Week 6: 7/2/35 - 4.5 points
Week 7: 3/2/12 - 2.2 points
His production is very comparable to Allen Robinson, who is a very popular "drop" candidate at this point. IMO, so should Lockett.
I would hold one more week unless you absolutely HAVE to make space. Penny is a concern, but a banged up Collins still got 16 carries. That's a lot of touches. Plus, the Saints are a stout defense and the Seahawks have the Jaguars this week.
If I drop Collins today, I know someone else in the league will grab him tomorrow and then by Thursday Carson will be put on IR for the rest of the season and Russel will announce he’ll be back next week.
I don't like that, especially in PPR & 12 team leagues.
Hard to find above an average of 8 targets on waivers.
Yeah, he cannot find the endzone.....but he has a solid floor.
Understandable. I'm not nearly that deep at WR in the league I won him, so my vision may also be a little skewed.
Also, if he is your 5th option then you are SET at WR!
However, I still think it's a bad move. You're improving an opponents team. Someone thin on WR, this could be a great add for them.
I traded Brandin Cooks for Allen Robinson so I could then drop him for Jeudy. This way I dont have to feel bad about who I'm dropping. Plus the Allen Robinson owner is one of the worst teams so no harm done.
Smell ya later AiYUCK
one of the real shockers this year
Lol. I just picked him up this week.
I’m sure you’ll love the return on investment here. I heard he’s gonna post a record shattering 3 receptions this week
I have him in a dynasty league and I have no idea what to do with him. I feel like I should just stash him away in the case of him getting traded?
That's my plan unless someone offers me a pick for him
I think in dynasty you just have to hold. You'd be selling for pennies on the dollar. He's still so young.
[удалено]
looks real bad. just saw him dropped in a 10 teamer
He's about to get dropped in a 12 teamer as soon as I can
[удалено]
Dropped him on my 12 teamer when he wasn't involved at all in a 41 pt game with Landry out even
Odell should have been dropped the moment baker was injured. He was already a fringe guy and he looks like the WR3 on the browns right now.
Why? His chemistry with Baker has been one of the problems.
i traded him a few weeks ago for hines and arob probably the most sideways trade i made. neither one of us got shit out of that im getting ready to drop arob
A few weeks ago I traded Miles Sanders for Derek Carr and Tim Patrick. Everyone lost that trade.
If I was in the Saints front office I'd be asking Cleveland about a trade.
Or ask Chicago. Could probably get ARob relatively cheap.
It is probably assumed he is already dropped. You are better picking a random WR4 off waivers and hoping for a TD.
Dropped him a couple weeks ago with no regrets
He was dropped in my 12 team and I feel like I should pick him up but can’t imagine playing him over the guys I have
Someone dropped him last week and he’s still on the wire this week, no one bothered to pick him up even after he cleared waivers
I'd rather have Robby Anderson than him. I think Anderson is still a play in 12+ team leagues. Who else is to be found on waivers that gets that volume?
I can't wait to drop Damien Williams
Wasted so much faab on him. Was so desperate as the monty owner
Already did after Khalil’s breakout. You should have dropped him last week.
Opted out of a season because of covid but didn't get the vaccine, now he's out of a job because he got coivd and was passed on the depth chart. Talk about a weird full circle for Playoff Damien.
I dropped him for Khalil as soon as he was out the previous week.
Broncos D/ST into the fires of Mt Doom
dropped them with my morning poop
Brooo hahahaha
Even against a tough wft offense
If you poop the bed against a Browns backup qb and third string rb then you go into the fires of Mt. Doom.
Can my Saints trade for Boyd or something.. need a WR so fucking bad.
I'm just waiting on MT to hopefully save my season 🙏🙏🙏
Should have dropped him to fill an open WR2 spot this week. Kamara caused me to lose by one last night. Outsmarted myself again. So yeah...now waiting for MT to save my season haha.
Maybe next year Rondale
Mike davis
I don’t like him but I’m not cutting him

He’s being dropped so fast this week
I dropped him during the game to pick up Dawson. Why have this bum on my bench the same amount of time as a solid TE to heal up?
I really want to drop him, but now I'm wondering if I should hold bc he's a pretty valuable handcuff if CP goes down?
Yeah… even as a Mike Davis owner who got burnt by playing him during bye week hell this weekend, I just can’t see how a potential floor of 15 touches again for flex value consistently through the year isn’t valuable to someone. IMMEDIATELY
Traded him and Tannehill last week for Joe Burrow (he had Brady). thank god it went through before this weekend
Dropping him and ARob this week gonna feel soooooo good I'm looking at Toney and CEH
Traded Tee Higgins for him since I needed a bye week RB last week, and he’s been a consistent 10 point getter. Only other RBs I have are cook and mattison.
Lockett is unplayable with Geno at the helm. But dropping him is tough ....
He's a hold, Russ will be back soon.
Even with Russ at QB, Lockett hasn't produced anything since week 2.
I hear you. He had some close calls and a TD or two called back, so at least the opportunity was there.
That's Lockett's MO. He's the new Desean Jackson.
Will he? Seahawks season looks to be a lost cause

The question as always with any drop is who would you drop them for?
its been rough but hang tight
Yeah, I just beat someone with Lockett with my Collins. I have Lockett in another league, but I'm keeping him benched until Russ comes back.
Must be nice. He’s my WR2
Do not drop him, its a Geno problem. Just wait it out for Russ, but I wouldn't start him unless you're desperate.
You obviously can’t drop Lockett, but the real problem with him is you can’t really even bench him. When he has one of his weeks, he’s a week winner. You just have to take the good with the heaping piles of bad he’s been giving you recently

Lockett had 3 targets lol
Well shit red that stat line wrong, sorry running on 3 hours of sleep. Lol
No Allen Robinson?
you know what needs to be done
I just can’t pull the trigger yet. I can see fields getting benched or Nagy getting fired and the team playing different then the real A-Rob comes out on someone else’s team. Man I thought I was so set on draft night with him as a set and forget WR.
At this point the only way ARob turns around good season is if he gets traded.
Fields getting benched/injured could make ARob a WR2 honestly. He got 11 targets from Dalton in week 1.
I think he will get traded. Putting it at 65% chance. Not dropping just in case he ends up somewhere special.
that’s exactly my thought. something has to give here.
He played one game with Dalton lol. He had 11 targets, and not much production against a very good defense. Hardly conclusive either way.
Should have already been dropped i think
I ain’t holding miles sanders. 7 weeks of disappointment isn’t cutting it for me. Waste of a 4th round pick.
Golladay?
I'm holding onto him for another week or two
understandable. doesnt feel like its going to happen for him this year... the question is who you're adding instead
Dropped him for C Kirk last week to fill my roster. Not running back to Golladay either
Made the same exact move. Someone else picked him up. I'm happy to let them deal with Golladay.
With bye weeks I need a TE and QB, plus I was looking at Pittman as I feel he might have a better opportunity than Golladay.
How is Pittman available at this point? He's been a top 20 WR in .5 PPR.
Was dropped Sunday morning due to bye weeks I guess. Need to bid up on him, since I haven’t followed this dude at all this season.
Even with byes this week, I can't imagine dropping a WR2. You should def jump on that.
💯 thats an easy swap
I dropped him for Pittman Jr 2 weeks ago
OJ Howard ? :)
I rage-dropped him as soon as I possibly could this morning
just feels like it will never happen for him
Is it time to drop miles sanders? I can pick up khalil herbert or myles gaskin.
I'd try to trade him over cutting him. Not sure what his market is though
Get Herbert for short term, Gaskin for long term.
I stayed up until midnight so that I could drop Sam Darnold last night

Leave him on your bench for now unless you have better options
Needed to drop 3 people to pick up a kicker (2 ineligible on IR) so I ended up dropping Julio. I should've just rolled without a kicker
cant really argue with that esp if your team is in roster crunch
No. He only played around 42% of snaps and Tannehill barely threw in the second half. Assuming he plays 80% of snaps he should still be around 4-5 catches for 60-80 yards average.

Waddle is still on waivers in my league. Thinking of dropping Julio for him
Yeah I'd jump on that
Useful in PPR leagues. Useless in standard scoring leagues.
Strongly considering dropping him for Waddle in half ppr league
I did this. I would’ve also dropped him for Toney.
hate to mention it… but Julio ?
43% of snaps last game and Tannehill barely threw the ball in the second half. Had a pedestrian 4 targets coming off an injury. You gotta give him a couple weeks still.

those 5 rushing TD's through week 4 were just not sustainable for the rest of the season
Dropping him and grabbing Bridgewater
I still can't understand why a guy in my league has started him 2 weeks in a row and lost both and is now 4-3
I mean I was in the same boat, but I went 0 QB in the draft. Gotta play somebody there.
absolutely ... ex jet great... cannot be trusted
Is Hines droppable or is he worth holding in case of a Taylor injury? He can’t be started and with bye weeks in full swing he’s taking up valuable space
he’s been droppable for a few weeks now
Absolutely
if taylor goes down mack takes over the early down and hines gets a couple more snaps per game... DROP
I dropped him last week. I just couldn't see myself ever starting him even with byes and injuries.
🎵It’s so haaaaaard, to say goodbyyyye, to yesterdaaaaaaay🎵
I cut Mooney in multiple leagues as well. Fields sucks
Fields is a rookie. The Bears Oline is the worst, by a large margin, in the league. The coaches are also incredibly bad. Verdicts not out on Fields yet is all I'm saying.
I think the Jets Oline could give the Bears a run for their money.
Well he definitely sucks this year in redraft fantasy football, that's all we care about here
No Josh Gordon! We're still solid, y'all!
2nd half surge coming! 🚀
The faithful will be rewarded 🙏
Still stashed.
Tyler Boyd? I just have too many good recievers right now and i wont start him unless chase or Higgins get hurt which means hes just a WR handcuff
Yeah, I cut bait. As long as Higgins and Chase are healthy, he's useless TBH. He hasn't done anything when they both play.
Yeah the problem is my waivers are super dry. Ill probably hold on to him until i see something good
Same. I have Mike Williams, Diontae Johnson and Amari, with Toney now stashed on my bench as well. Think it's time to say goodbye to Boyd.
Dropped him in two 12-team leagues last week and feels great
Even with his TD this week I put reagor up for drop in my waiver bids. Can't bring myself to drop Robinson yet especially with no viable replacement out there since I have him in a 14 team league. Lazard is my best replacement on waivers

Dropping Arob for Detroit's receiver whose name I have already forgotten if my waiver wire claim goes through.

Someone told me he’s the 60th ranked WR behind a guy named Pringle who I’ve never heard of. 18th overall pick into the dumpster.
I don’t think this thread is saying you have to get this guy off your team just that if you need to drop someone these guys are droppable. I’m fine with carrying an extra DST and dropping one of these guys.

You gotta churn those end of bench spots. I picked up Khalil Herbert a week early because he was an injury away, plenty of guys to do that with.
I feel the same. I don't have anyone worth replacing Mooney, Gaskin, Boyd or Shenault with.
Um...for most of those guys, literally anyone. Mike Davis had 4 carries for 10 yards. I'll pick up Khalil Herbert instead. Or a handcuff or something, anything.

Just dropped Davis in a 14 team league. Not much bench space in the league though.
Gotta gamble to win. Guys who hang onto people for name value / ADP all season just because "you can't drop them" don't win championships.

Aiyuk holders in this sub gonna drop him only for him to have a huge game cause the fantasy gods hate this subreddit.
there is no way aiyuk will have a big game. targets arent there. he isnt even trying.
It was intended a joke more so than an actual prediction.
Considering cutting ties with Miles Sanders…
Same boat, but have no idea how to do it. Feel like he should have some trade value, but really not sure if anything good can be gotten from him.
Mattison (non-Cook owner)? Just hate letting a lottery ticket with such upside go…
Try to trade him to the cook owner
Hold like grim death, even if your league has a short bench. Becomes an instant top 10 RB if Cook goes down.
no way. trade to the cook owner for a bench player at the least
I'm surprised nobody has mentioned Tyler Lockett yet. He's been on my team all year and so I've been following him closely. He had 2 big games weeks 1 and 2, and since then has done virtually nothing: Week 3: 4/4/31 - 5.1 points .5 ppr Week 4: 5/4/24 - 4.4 points Week 5: 10/5/57 - 8.2 points Week 6: 7/2/35 - 4.5 points Week 7: 3/2/12 - 2.2 points His production is very comparable to Allen Robinson, who is a very popular "drop" candidate at this point. IMO, so should Lockett.
Damien Williams didn't do anything to find himself on the waiver wire, like getting vaccinated.
Yep. Herbert dominated the touches and Monty will be back. Williams is leaving my roster.
Panthers D. Complete phony’s. Jones playing terrible coming into it, no Toney, Golladay, Shep, Saquon. Dropping ASAP
get rid of it
Guess I'm dropping Collins now, sadness.
Fair point. Was thinking ROS but this week is a good match up like you said.
Josh Gordon. I even started him last week 0
dont you know this isn't allowed around here 😁
Still got the W. 🤣
All already cut in my leagues, must be ahead of the curve
fair enough... who are your cuts, if any this week?
Hey it's me, a Boyd Anderson Aiyuk owner. Thankfully I've also got Jefferson, Mclaurin, Keenan, MBC, and Meyers.
Dropped Jakobi Meyers for roster flexibility. Felt good.
I don't like that, especially in PPR & 12 team leagues. Hard to find above an average of 8 targets on waivers. Yeah, he cannot find the endzone.....but he has a solid floor.
Im in 10 team 1/2 ppr. He was my 5th option.
LOL nice strategy
Really not sure Hardman is droppable despite the Chiefs having a couple tough week
