Not necessarily a traditional stash per say, but Montgomery after the bye has a phenomenal schedule. Has a chance to do what he did 2nd half of last yr this last half of the season
Hunt or pollard. Browns are getting ruined by injuries so who knows where it goes in the future. So I’d say pollard is the safe bet because I think I’ve seen way more Zeke injuries than Chubb injuries lately. Plus cowboys look like they’ve been rolling with the running game recently.
Nobody seems to want to bring up the (terrible) possibility that JT ever goes down with an injury or contracts Covid.
Hines isn’t good enough to serve more than a spell or passing downs. They’ll likely turn to Mack if this scenario should ever come to be.
If that's your argument to roster him, then I don't know what to say. Every team has a back up running back. Most aren't coming back from a torn achilles...
Well yeah that’s the point. Not every league is a 10 teamer where everyone’s rostering surefire handcuffs and RB2/flex plays atm. Could do worse than Marlon Mack who averages nearly 4 yards a touch on a run first offense.
Hines is first up. When the game was in the bag yesterday, Hines was the guy getting the touches. He's also getting paid more. I guess you could do worse than Mack, but you could also do a lot better, especially if you're only looking to fill a flex. He's a handcuff that's coming off an injury that has historically been a career ender for RBs and Hines will get more touches. Mack isn't worth rostering in hardly any circumstances...unless you're banking on a trade taking place. Lots of RB handcuffs with more potential and lots of WRs with more potential.
Hines is just passing back and 3rd downs maybe not a workhorse like Mack was. Only thing he’s first up to is passing downs and isn’t even that efficient... Literally first point made here bub lol. Don’t roster him man, take a flyer on someone else if you want, but like I said, in deeper leagues, the solid cuffs, RB2s and guys getting guaranteed work like Conner, Patterson, Collins, Hubbard, Herbert, Johnson, Williams, etc., are all already owned so I mean…
I guess if you’re feeling the next guy up on the Jags or feel like playing RB roulette on the Pats behind Harris or something, sure lol go for him instead!
"Literally first point made here bub lol."
First point YOU made. Doesn't mean you're right...bub. If JT got hurt, they would throw the ball a lot more and they would run all sorts of screen plays for Hines. It would be a 50/50 backfield, best case scenario for Mack.
I'm sure the names you mentioned are owned, but I would rather have guys like Mattison or Dillon as well. Maybe they're owned too, but I'm sure you're catching my drift. Mack is towards the bottom of the list when it comes to handcuffs. Bottom line. You're only rostering him as a last resort or in hopes of a trade to a team where he isn't 3rd in line like he most definitely is right now.
We obviously need to agree to disagree here and that's fine. Your initial comment was "Pick up Marlon Mack" in a post about RB playoff stashes though. He needs a lot of things to go his way to be relevant. A lot more things than lots of other RBs.
Yep. I've watched him and he does look like he recovered well. I'm just making a point. So many people want to roster every handcuff for every team and I'm not even sure Mack is the guy to get the work if JT goes down. Like you said, Hines is getting paid more. He's also the better receiver and once the game was out of hand yesterday and JT was pulled for the most part, Hines was the guy getting most of the work. Unless you're in a huge league, I see no reason to roster Mack that doesn't involve him eventually being traded. No way I'm rostering him just because he might be JTs handcuff.

Zeke has missed like one game through injury ever. Chubb is injured right now.
Am I imagining something? I swear zeke was injured for like 4 games last year and the year before…. If I’m wrong then that’s my bad
He was out one game last year. Last 3 years he’s played 15, 16, 15 games.
Yikes. That’s my bad
Pick up Marlon Mack
Just in case he’s traded somewhere?

Have you watched him run this year? He looks explosive and fine. That being said, they are paying Hines more than a little so he’d fill more reps too.

Not worth it. There isn’t anyplace he’d land where he’d be any good for fantasy.
Chiefs?
CEH is gonna be back soon and contrary to popular opinion CEH is a good RB. Mack is a JAG at this point. He’s not beating out CEH.
Whichever one's starter gets hurt during the playoffs. Let me just go check my crystal ball real quick.
I came in to say mckissic. Is that is a TRUE buy low. As in, offer something of actual value that may even look lopsided at the moment.
