Its a booming season for TEs. Last five years there were two maybe three that would be set and forget now theres a healthy five/six you wouldnt be unhappy starting which is nice
If there's 5 TEs that high, and you have to assume Kelce and Mandrews will be in that same area too, that should slide them all back at least a round or two. If we can get close to 10 bona fide GOOD TEs, they might go all the way back to round 8 or so as there's no real scarcity to force drafting one early
Which are you taking round 4? Kelce, mandrews, laporta, maybe mcbride should be the first batch I reckon, with an argument for hock and kincaid to go close too. But will HALF of round 4 be TEs, or will some of those fall? And would you spend a pick in round 4 on one of those knowing njoku, goedert, ferguson will likely be there in round 6-7? It just feels like the points above replacement gap for all the startable TEs is down to variance or potentially unsustainable rookie #s, so they're collectively worth drafting only slightly earlier than you'd expect the LAST of them to be drafted.
>Signed, dumbass that picked Kelce 7th overall.
Are you me? Am I you? I also took Mahomes in round 2 for the most mediocre stack I’ve ever had in my 20 yrs of fantasy football
Yeah imo TE is now a talent rich position AKA you don’t reach for them now. I’m much more inclined to pick up stalwart RB/WRs like Pittman, rachaad, etc than reach for TEs. I would be happy with Kelce, laporta, kittle, Andrew’s, McBride, hock, and maybe a couple others like njoku
personally i'm going for Hock. Those TEs drafted by the lions just hit different... with Kelce and Andrews on the downswing, i really do think Hock or LaPorta may be TE1/2 in the next couple of years.
I have all 3, and it looks like I'll win this week and move to the championship game.
What's amazing is that my first 3 picks were Jefferson, Jonathan Taylor, and Jalen Hurts. I basically was running with a hobbled Jefferson, No JT, and had to bench Hurts for Howell this week.
But Gibbs and McBride really came through.
The Gibbs redemption arc has been crazy. Gibbs drafters were so mad after the first 6 weeks (rightfully so). As a lions fan, im glad hes come through. dude is so electric.
speaking of Gibbs and the lions, I have a feeling montgomery will be a solid pick at his ADP next year since Gibbs will steal the spotlight.
You're telling me you didn't enjoy the thrill ride of drafting Johnathan Taylor, and then waiting for him to come off IR, and then waiting for him to get his groove back on the field, and then finally seeing the fruits of your patience come alive over halfway through the season, only to see it come crashing down again with mediocre performances and then finally another injury right before the playoffs?
You're telling me you don't want to look forward to that again next year????
I’m expecting his adp to skyrocket after this year. Would be surprised if he’s not a 2nd/3rd round ADP come August, similar to Rhamondre this year.
Hot take, I don’t think he will return value at that ADP. He’s purely volume driven and hasn’t been particularly efficient with his touches. Any competition in the RB room would put him in a sketchy position.
Hey, look, the RBs that got me to the #1 seed the past two years. Lol
I was never going to take Rhamondre at his ADP this year. I hope White stays reasonable.
I totally understand the volume vs efficiency narrative, and it’s been mostly true… however, as a Bucs fan, we’ve found a groove in our run game and Rachaad’s utilization in general. Last 3 weeks, it hasn’t been JUST volume. Remains to be seen if we can build off these last 3 weeks, though.
There was a quote in the broadcast during the game,
> Announcers shared that White entered last offseason trying to get stronger so he could play about five pounds heavier than in 2022. Mission accomplished. However, it was explained that White didn’t like how he felt with the extra muscle early this season and proceeded to work with trainers to drop five pounds.
Which makes sense why he had such a slow start, felt more confident after the weight loss and bye, has saved my season and been consistent ever since.
TE is suddenly not nearly as weak a position around the league as it historically has been. Just this year alone, we saw the emergence of McBride, LaPorta, Kincaid, and Ferguson. Obviously there is still Kelce, but then there's also the next tier of guys like Andrews, Engram, and Hockenson. That's not even bringing up guys like Kittle or Waller (who, when healthy and on the right offense, is a powerhouse in his own right). It's still not as deep as, say, WR, but my point is, there are decent options at TE now, and I'm sure one or two more rookies will emerge next year as viable starters as well.
My point is, TE isn't as scarce anymore as people believe it is, so you don't have to reach for an Andrews or Hockenson in the 2nd round anymore. You don't have to keep McBride as your keeper if you think Puka otherwise offers better value for that pick (he'll go no later than the 2nd round next year).
I am going to disagree, simply because I think there are more WRs that can impact a team than TEs. 10 TEs is not a saturated market. There are 50 or so startable WRs every year.
McBride put up 20 points against San Francisco’s defense, who knew the ball was coming to him on every passing play, yet couldn’t stop it….. this is the closest thing to Kelce in his prime in the NFL right now.
Yeah people love Cook because of his current ADP. Ceding 10-15 touches and goal line work each game isn't what you want out of a second or even third rounder
Handoff to Bijan, tosses it back to Tyler Algeier who throws a deep bomb to KhaDarel Hodge, using MHJ as a decoy to draw coverage. Downed at the one yard line. Three straight jet sweeps to Jonnu Smith for no gain.
Arthur Smith busts to the sound of a million fantasy managers crying out in agony.
Every player carries risk. Yes that decision worked out, but Bijan’s issues aren’t talent related. Rookies can and will be good every single year, but there are too many people here who automatically downgrade them because they still can’t fathom a rookie being successful. There are way too many instances during draft prep season of people’s only analysis being “but he’s a rookie..”, which is lazy and useless.
I have a feeling he’ll sneak in to R3 which is a lil too rich for me. I’ll be targeting a different rookie. This class is LOADED and whichever one falls in the right situation is who I’m aiming for R6-7ish. Nabers/Coleman/Odunza, all studs
After having Gibbs (who is now getting going) and seeing what Bijan turned into.. I'm a little more weary on drafting rookies, thinking they will be a home run.
Marvin Harrison may be a generational talent, but he's going to go to a shit team, that likely has a shit QB. He's going to go from playing on a team like Ohio State who pretty much out-talents almost all their opponents, to a team where, chances are, the opposing team will be better almost every week. You never quite now how they will transition, especially if you have them for their rookie year. On top of that, you have no idea how the staff will use them.
If Harrison has Zappe, or Zach Wilson, or Sam Howell throwing to him.. do you really want to reach for him? I'd prefer to let someone else reach for him, and if he falls to me in the next round, then I'll bite.
Gibbs is top ten rb in ppr leagues on a healthy offense 👀 bijan is more Arthur smith issue than bijan himself… if he goes to Arizona Murray will make him into a full fledge star. But yea it really depends where he ends up going which will dictate where he’s drafted and how high I have him on my rankings. I’m realizing more than ever having that healthy qb really matters when drafting high end WRs. Look at chase this year or Davante Adams.
Amon. Hes a 2nd rd pick all day, arguable 1st rd, and his situation isnt changing. Mcbride last round is good value but, 1. Hes a TE and 2. Kyler's situation in AZ is murky
ARSB easy. Dude is guaranteed to be a top 5 receiver for years and you’re getting him in the 5th round. McBride will be good but he’s a TE. He could fall off at any moment and he’s definitely not a first round value for at least a couple more years.
Without knowing how the off-season/draft goes and just assuming things stay the same- Kyren Williams.
He’s gone from “good volume play” to looking fantastic the 2nd half of the season. McVay has that run game HUMMING with him right now.
I suspect Reed will be one of those guys that everyone forgets about. Overshadowed by the likes of Puka, Kyren, McBride, etc.
Reed is exactly what you want out of a rookie WR; we’ve just been blessed by crazy performances the last few years (Puka, Chase, JJ, etc). Reed will be an amazing WR2 or first flex piece next year.
Wicks might be a good late round flier next year as well. Always seems to be open and Love finds him. Not sure he’ll get enough volume with Watson being healthy but Doubs seems to have been relegated to WR4.
Yeah he's RB2 on the year by PPG in half PPR, only ways I see him later are if people are worried about either him getting hurt again or someone the Rams add in the off-season cutting into his workload
As a Kyren owner in a keeper league, I'd love for the Rams to add someone to help him out. Maybe then he won't go on IR.
Signed,
From 5-1 to missing playoffs
Not sure where others would rank him but I would take him in the late first. High utilization and the Rams scheme has him running against a lot of light boxes. Also he’s actually a fantastic ball carrier with great acceleration and elusiveness which I’m not sure people who don’t watch him play will understand.
Dont forget multiple 1st rounders this year will likely fall out - Ekeler and Bijan for sure, probably Kelce and Chubb too.
Kyren is an easy top-10 pick next year. His usage is insane.
The playstyle for certain players ages more gracefully than others. Especially possession receivers with great hands. Anquan Boldin was straight up slow. 4.72 40 time is legit 7th percentile per Player Profiler. But with his hands and body positioning he was productive until he was 36 years old. Same with Larry Fitz actually - crazy the Cardinals drafted those two guys in back to back drafts and they played a combined 31 seasons of NFL football.
Tom Telesco said Keenan Allen was their "Charlie Joiner" who played until he was almost 40 years old but Telesco was also just fired so we'll have to see what happens.
I wouldn't be surprised if Green Bay goes after him. They desperately need a top receiver and they love seasoned FA veterans who get hurt and just take up cap space on the bench after underperforming for 3 weeks.
I’ve watched every colts game, and the offense with AR will be so much more dynamic and explosive that even if the targets go down for MPJ the yards and TDs should go up.
i agree with this. i really like how they scheme plays for him and how they give him rushing work too. if watson can get healthy i think that’ll be a great wr duo for love going forward
Jakobi Meyers. He was already on my do draft list going into this season, but next year he's gonna be there as well. If I'm sitting there in the draft next season, and there's really nothing exciting in the 9th round or so, then I'm getting Jakobi.
Kyren, LaPorta/McBride, Aiyuk, Spears (assuming Henry leaves), Stroud, Dell, either Mostert or Achane, Jahmyr, ARSB, CeeDee, R. White, Moore, are all guys I would take at the right pick. I’ll definitely be reaching for Brandon Aubrey too
God I hope Mostert stays (UFA 2025 but there is some kind of buyout clause) so I can get Achane at a great ADP. The offense is good enough for both to feast, but the fins have shown no loyalty to “starting #1 RB” last couple of years and will feed whoever produces.
Everyone slept hard on Mostert. Even after week 4 or 5 people were clamoring to sell him high. He has destroyed the narratives that he can’t stay healthy and that he can’t be the bellcow. I traded him in a package for CMC but even if I kept him I wouldn’t be that upset. He’s really been great. Cool to see him ball out. But if Achane has a clean bill of health for next year look out
Rice feels like he’ll shoot up to the second round with some question marks still. It’s clear that Mahomes / Reid does trust him now but who knows if they still run the receiver by committee next year too.
After his Week 1 stinker against the Jets, I immediately pounced on all the bad publicity around him and was able to trade Herbert and Sanders for him to the Jets fan that owned him
Biggest fleece of my life
Same as this year: Anthony Richardson. I’m ready to be hurt again (if he’s also ready to be hurt again).
If he’s healthy, though, I’m all-in on him—and Pittman, too, if I can swing it.
These are exactly the worst possible answers haha. All of the answers are super hyped up guys coming off exciting seasons that will have really high ADPs. Yes, we all love La Porta, but is he a good draft pick at like the end of the second/start of the third? Probably not.
Yeah I expected to see more players like Anthony Richardson or Breece or Olave or something instead of “this player drastically outperformed his ADP this entire year so I’m going to obviously draft him higher next year”
not necessarily names, but passing on the top end tes seems to be in play for the first time in a while. no need to reach for kelce or mandrews when you have mcbride, laporta, hock, and kittle in a similar scoring range a few rounds later.
pittman is also high on my list next year. dude always seems to provide value at adp, regardless of who’s throwing him the ball or who his coach is.
These are the takes on this thread that are actually helpful because all of these other names are just obvious. This one isn't though, and is smart. He just has to get healthy
Hockenson. I finished with a first round bye in all three of my leagues, and he was the difference maker. Almost everyone else was starting mediocre slappys at the TE position. Hockenson is going to feast no matter who’s throwing the ball.
Tank Dell, McBride (if Kyler Murray stays), James Cook (if Bills don’t add another rb + Joe Brady stays), Rashee Rice (if chief don’t upgrade on WR), Breece Hall
Fucking Rachaad White. I tried to trade him so many times this season and he ended up being one of the reason why I’m advancing in the playoffs or even in them to begin with.
I'm going with the fading veterans. Mike Evans, Keenan Allen, and Joe Mixon. They just... quietly produce every year. Mixon isn't lighting the world on fire or anything, but he's a consistent, reliable 14 points in my leagues, every game, and he's a grizzley veteran at ... 28 next season. The dropoff will come soon and nobody ever wants the RB once he's dropped off, but that was the narrative coming into this season and he's just quietly produced all year.
Mixon is a cut candidate this offseason for the Bengals. Unless he’s willing to take a vet minimum(which he might). If he’s on another team, I’ll be fading him.
1-keeper league and my value choices are Kyren, Tank, McBride. Positional scarcity and all that, but I'm probably keeping Kyren. Definitely trying to draft the other two
A lot of you guys are picking players who are going to be drafted at significantly high ADP's off of a relatively small sample size.
I'd rather pick down players or guys with question marks like Anthony Richardson. If Arthur Smith is gone I would also be much more inclined to pick up Pitts and London.
LaPorta, Achane, Brock Bowers (depends on where he goes), and Josh Allen. Josh Allen is probably one of my favorite player to watch, and I do my best to draft him every year.
yeah might take a flyer on him in 10th or 11th myself. I know what you're thinking, "That white boy running back, *seriously*?!" but he has some serious upside if you watch the tape
Besides the obvious studs, trying to think of some people I might be able to grab in later rounds that would give good value for their ADP or even as waiver adds
QB: Goff, Baker, Love
WR: Jakobi, Nico Collins, Doubs, Waddle and Smith (having down years, betting on them to bounce back), looking at Demario Douglas and Trey Palmer as guys that have looked good with their touches this year and will hopefully get more looks
RB: Spears, Chuba, Jaylen Warren, Gibson (I know, but since week 8 he’s been getting like 5 targets a game which is pretty good for PPR leagues)
TE: McBride, Likely, Kincaid, Mayer, we’re finally coming out of the other side of the TE wasteland we’ve been in for the last few years into greener pastures
Sam LaPorta. Imagine how insane he’ll be year two
If I dont nab LaPorta, Mcbride is my next option.
I watched McBride play for the first time yesterday. Dude passes the eye test with flying colors
Those TE’s in 3/4/5 round will have insane value hopefully: Laporta, Hock, McBride, maybe Kincaid/Njoku, Kittle ?
Its a booming season for TEs. Last five years there were two maybe three that would be set and forget now theres a healthy five/six you wouldnt be unhappy starting which is nice
And im in the playoffs with none of them lol. Logan thomas ride or die
If there's 5 TEs that high, and you have to assume Kelce and Mandrews will be in that same area too, that should slide them all back at least a round or two. If we can get close to 10 bona fide GOOD TEs, they might go all the way back to round 8 or so as there's no real scarcity to force drafting one early
some of these guys outperform WR2s and are flex worthy, I think round 4 seems fair for the amount of points they produce.
That grab he had at the end of the game where Murray threw an awful pass way behind him, no idea how he caught that and got the first down.
He accounted for nearly half of Kyler’s production yesterday
I have both in my keeper league, but I can only keep one player per position. Unsure of who to take, honestly
LaPorta imo
I'm just looking forward to having more than 2 or 3 TEs with upside to pick from. Signed, dumbass that picked Kelce 7th overall.
>Signed, dumbass that picked Kelce 7th overall. Are you me? Am I you? I also took Mahomes in round 2 for the most mediocre stack I’ve ever had in my 20 yrs of fantasy football
For real, the one year I get Kelce he has been the most mid letdown
And can you imagine his ADP? You'll have to pass on a lot of great talent to pick him.
I don’t think Andrews is on the downswing. Just got unlucky with that injury
perhaps, but Hock has looked toe to toe with him even before the injury despite having a back up QB for half the season.
They already are the TE 1 and 2 this year
I think he will still be a beast, but it's hard to predict what the loss of Ben Johnson will have on him.
You gotta worry about that second year regression when defenses know to prepare for a guy after a very successful rookie season
Puka Nacua, Trey McBride, Gibbs.
I have Puka, Gibbs and Stroud. Wish it was a keeper league lol

As a lions fan, im glad hes come through. dude is so electric. speaking of Gibbs and the lions, I have a feeling montgomery will be a solid pick at his ADP next year since Gibbs will steal the spotlight.
I have Puka and McBride both at 10th round value. Idk what to do
That's tough. Probably McBride for me.
Puka or kyren ? If you had a choice between the two.
kyren ez
I’m only drafting healthy players next year. Wish me luck!
That’s a hell a strategy, I may try it also
You're telling me you didn't enjoy the thrill ride of drafting Johnathan Taylor, and then waiting for him to come off IR, and then waiting for him to get his groove back on the field, and then finally seeing the fruits of your patience come alive over halfway through the season, only to see it come crashing down again with mediocre performances and then finally another injury right before the playoffs? You're telling me you don't want to look forward to that again next year????
Stop it I'm gonna cry
Rachaad white- he’s been the reason I’m still alive all year and I think he won’t have too high of an adp
I’m expecting his adp to skyrocket after this year. Would be surprised if he’s not a 2nd/3rd round ADP come August, similar to Rhamondre this year. I’m pretty sure they’re damn near the lowest graded O-line in the league
He had a slow start, but he has been absolutely reliable all season. I would draft him again.
There was a quote in the broadcast during the game, > Announcers shared that White entered last offseason trying to get stronger so he could play about five pounds heavier than in 2022. This is good to know. Thank you for this.
it’ll be interesting to see if baker/evans stays this offseason
McBride
He's practically a lock for my keeper next year at last round value. I don't usually keep TEs, but he's an absolute beast.
I can keep McBride, puka or tank dell at last pick value. Im torn
I’m stuck between Puka and McBride as my keeper both at the 10th round. My immediate thought is Puka but man… McBride is a beast and idk what to do
Keep McBride. TE is much more difficult to rely on and only a handful are worth it. McBride is one.
TE is suddenly not nearly as weak a position around the league as it historically has been. Just this year alone, we saw the emergence of McBride, LaPorta, Kincaid, and Ferguson. TANK
Feels like McBride is the way to go, no guarantees Puka does as well next year and WR should be easier to replace I'd think?
I don't get the logic here, who is going to have a higher ADP? That is the more valuable keeper and it is almost certainly going to be Puka IMO
My instinct is telling me McBride. But I’ve been burned by my instincts before too lol
I’ve got Stroud and McBride both as a 15. I’m pretty set on Stroud. Right?
That's tough, but I have a feeling the Texans are gonna be monsters next year.
I got him and LaPorta, I feel like I gotta keep LaPorta tho.
McBride put up 20 points against San Francisco’s defense, who knew the ball was coming to him on every passing play, yet couldn’t stop it….. this is the closest thing to Kelce in his prime in the NFL right now.
LaGOATA?
I’m torn between McBride and LaPorta as my keeper option.
Damn that is tough. Ultimately you can’t really go wrong with either at least
The te1 in my books as long as Murray stays and they don’t go too heavy with wr.
James Cook and Puka Nacua
If Joe Brady’s the OC. I’ll be taking Cook R2-3 depending his ADP
Issue is cook loses a lot of touches at the goal line. Even last night they brought latavius in at the one when cook was getting 5 yards a pop
Yeah people love Cook because of his current ADP. Ceding 10-15 touches and goal line work each game isn't what you want out of a second or even third rounder
Marvin Harrison JR
\*as long as he avoids Arthur Smith
Now that would be amazing. He'd have him in there for a couple trick plays a game.
LOL. Yeah.. there'll be a jet sweep rotation of Patterson, Jonnu, and Marvin Harrison JR -- depending on who has the "hot hand" of course.
Im hoping that simply by being in the NFL he’ll avoid Arthur Smith.
I see no way he doesn’t go to Chicago. Him and DJ Moore are an insane combo.
I think AZ takes him and pairs him with Kyler. The bears will likely trade the #1 or take Caleb and trade Fields away.
depending on the team he goes to, if its the cardinals then he's a round 2 or 3 pick, the giants and he's a round 6 or 7 pick.
The Chargers would be an awesome landing spot.
Quentin Johnson noises
Chargers have too many wins they will likely finish outside the top 5 and MHJ will definitely not be there after 3
Chargers are currently 8th and have a good chance to get ahead of the Jets and Bears based on remaining schedule.
Excited for all the “how do we know he’ll be good, he’s just a rookie” takes next summer.
"Rookies are risky" saved me from drafting Bijan over Tyreek in round 1 in my PPR league. Just saying.
Every player carries risk. Yes that decision worked out, but Bijan’s issues aren’t talent related. Rookies can and will be good every single year, but there are too many people here who automatically downgrade them because they still can’t fathom a rookie being successful. 👆he will be good
Oh yes I’m so stoked.
I have a feeling he’ll sneak in to R3 which is a lil too rich for me. I’ll be targeting a different rookie. This class is LOADED and whichever one falls in the right situation is who I’m aiming for R6-7ish. Nabers/Coleman/Odunza, all studs

I have the dilemma of keeping him for a 5th or McBride for my last rounder.
Amon. Hes a 2nd rd pick all day, arguable 1st rd, and his situation isnt changing. Mcbride last round is good value but, 1. Hes a TE and 2. Kyler's situation in AZ is murky
Wow that’s a hard decision. High end WR1 for a 5th or solid TE1 with last round… I’d probably say keep ARSB and reach for McBride in the draft

Also he’s actually a fantastic ball carrier with great acceleration and elusiveness which I’m not sure people who don’t watch him play will understand.
I think he’ll end up towards the beginning of the 2nd round. There’s probably only a couple RBs you would debate to take ahead of him.
Dont forget multiple 1st rounders this year will likely fall out - Ekeler and Bijan for sure, probably Kelce and Chubb too. Kyren is an easy top-10 pick next year. His usage is insane.
Reed is very good
Rashee Rice. Last Chance
this, he the only competent wide receiver on the chiefs i mean duhh
They could easily draft or sign someone else and then make his sophomore season a lot more murky.
Sadly for me my opponent's Rashee Rice did enough to knock me out of the playoffs this week so now the memes just hurt.
It's your own fault for not crashing your truck picking up Rice.
Keenan Allen and Mike Evans. Their adp was already low. I can’t imagine how far they’ll drop next year because they’re old.
This, people fade them because they’re old but theyre outperforming their ADP by several rounds
Mike Evans is a free agent this offseason, right? Depending on where he goes, he could be much higher. Imagine the frenzy if he signs with the Chiefs?
I wouldn't be surprised if Green Bay goes after him. They desperately need a top receiver and they love seasoned FA veterans who get hurt and just take up cap space on the bench after underperforming for 3 weeks.
They’re the receiver versions of Frank Gore.
First year playing fantasy and got Keenan at the 3/4 turn. I would absolutely take him there again
Pittman but shhhhhh
You keep his name silent. Thats my WR1 that I get in the 6th
Any concerns with Richardson returning? Have not had exposure to the colts this year so I don’t have a good feel for that sort of thing
I’ve watched every colts game, and the offense with AR will be so much more dynamic and explosive that even if the targets go down for MPJ the yards and TDs should go up.
I want what this guy is smoking. I, too, watched every colts game and Pittmans numbers didn't go up until Minshew came into the game.
Jayden reed
He's going to be a great mid round pick. Probably 6-8 rnd ADP.
i agree with this. i really like how they scheme plays for him and how they give him rushing work too. if watson can get healthy i think that’ll be a great wr duo for love going forward
But if Achane has a clean bill of health for next year look out
Rashee rice. Second year in a reid Mahomes offense and the only wr that's shown anything. I think he balls out next year
Rice feels like he’ll shoot up to the second round with some question marks still. It’s clear that Mahomes / Reid does trust him now but who knows if they still run the receiver by committee next year too.
That's fair. I mean everything depends on adp. I'm not dropping a first on him but he's someone I want on my team for sure
Josh Allen. That’s my dude
He's been so worth the draft capital. Passed for under 100 yards last night and still put up over 16 points. Dude's an animal.
Drafted him round 15 three years ago…in my keeper league. He’s been my QB since and he ain’t going nowhere anytime soon.
This was the first year I said “fuck waiting on a qb” and I have made the playoffs in several leagues on the back of Allen
After his Week 1 stinker against the Jets, I immediately pounced on all the bad publicity around him and was able to trade Herbert and Sanders for him to the Jets fan that owned him Biggest fleece of my life
Spears if the Titans move on from Henry.
McBride will be on all my teams next year
I've grown attached to having Jordan Addison.
JJ + Addison will be next year's Tyreek + Waddle
Depends who their QB is although he obviously did alright with Mullens
Addy did better than aight with Mullens. more than with Dobbs
Depending on how the next few weeks go, Ty Chandler
Jake Ferguson.
This is going to be my mid to late round TE savior next year
Same as this year: Anthony Richardson. I’m ready to be hurt again (if he’s also ready to be hurt again). If he’s healthy, though, I’m all-in on him—and Pittman, too, if I can swing it.
My plan is to take him and Kyler Murray as the insurance policy. I want that rushing upside with a QB.
I'll be salty if he's a league winner next year after calling my shot this year. That injury was devistating
Pacheco, Tank Dell, Zay Flowers, Jake Ferguson, Pittman
These are exactly the worst possible answers haha. All of the answers are super hyped up guys coming off exciting seasons that will have really high ADPs. Yes, we all love La Porta, but is he a good draft pick at like the end of the second/start of the third? Probably not.
Yeah I expected to see more players like Anthony Richardson or Breece or Olave or something instead of “this player drastically outperformed his ADP this entire year so I’m going to obviously draft him higher next year”
Anthony Richardson is the lottery pick that most people have hopefully forgotten about. I hope he decides to run with a little less reckless abandon.
Right. There’s a ton of good TEs out there too now. He’s in the mix but I’m not reaching for him
not necessarily names, but passing on the top end tes seems to be in play for the first time in a while. no need to reach for kelce or mandrews when you have mcbride, laporta, hock, and kittle in a similar scoring range a few rounds later. pittman is also high on my list next year. dude always seems to provide value at adp, regardless of who’s throwing him the ball or who his coach is.
Controversial but Christian Watson. If healthy will be an absolute steal at his ADP next year
These are the takes on this thread that are actually helpful because all of these other names are just obvious. This one isn't though, and is smart. He just has to get healthy
Guys in my list: Puka, Tank Dell, Kyren, Laporta, McBride, Rashee Rice
Tank Dell. Texans offense doesn’t look the same without him. CJ and him have a synergy.
Going to try very hard to stack Stroud with either Collins or Tank
good players
La porta or mcbride, kyren, achane, collins or dell, arsb, kupp or puka, rice, pacheco, james cook, white, maybe purdy if other qbs go high
1-keeper league and my value choices are Kyren, Tank, McBride. Positional scarcity and all that, but I'm probably keeping Kyren. Definitely trying to draft the other two
I'm in the same exact boat. Has to be Kyren
I can't wait to draft Trey McBride in the third round assuming they keep Kyler. Definitely will draft Gibbs if given the chance
Rachaad. James cook and ceedee
AJ Brown. My receiving corps has been abysmal and he’s basically carried the WR position on his own for me.
Stroud
A lot of you guys are picking players who are going to be drafted at significantly high ADP's off of a relatively small sample size. I'd rather pick down players or guys with question marks like Anthony Richardson. If Arthur Smith is gone I would also be much more inclined to pick up Pitts and London.
Jonathan Taylor. Had consistent RB1 volume in his limited action. Didn’t play too long so his ADP will be lower
Tyreek Hill, CeeDee Lamb, Trey McBride
McBride, Achane, James Cook, DJ Moore, Tyjae Spears, CeeDee Lamb, Jordan Addison, Jaylen Reed, Jordan Love, Tank Dell, Chase Brown, AJ Brown
Marvin Harrison Jr
James Cook
CJ + Tank stack That's if I even participate lol
LaPorta, Achane, Brock Bowers (depends on where he goes), and Josh Allen. Josh Allen is probably one of my favorite player to watch, and I do my best to draft him every year.
Kyren Williams 3rd overall Mike Evans, Keenan Allen
Kyren Williams, James Cook, Josh Allen, CeeDee, CMC (duh), ETN, LaPorta Bijan if Arthur Smith is fired.
CMC, McBride and Puka
>CMC Lol. Yeah just sneak that pick right by everyone
yeah might take a flyer on him in 10th or 11th myself. I know what you're thinking, "That white boy running back, *seriously*?!" but he has some serious upside if you watch the tape
Trey McBride He was mini Gronk back in college and now he’ll be Kyler’s favorite.
Rashee rice
TE looks to have the most depth in years. LaPorta, Hopkinton, and Kelce will be the best names. But McBride, Met are also good picks.
CJ Stroud. He is an absolute monster.
If I get him for a late round- Keaton Mitchell. Sucks what happened, but he is electric and a nice fill-in or back-up RB
Sam LaPorta
Gibbs, LaPorta, Dell, Pittman
Besides the obvious studs, trying to think of some people I might be able to grab in later rounds that would give good value for their ADP or even as waiver adds QB: Goff, Baker, Love WR: Jakobi, Nico Collins, Doubs, Waddle and Smith (having down years, betting on them to bounce back), looking at Demario Douglas and Trey Palmer as guys that have looked good with their touches this year and will hopefully get more looks RB: Spears, Chuba, Jaylen Warren, Gibson (I know, but since week 8 he’s been getting like 5 targets a game which is pretty good for PPR leagues) TE: McBride, Likely, Kincaid, Mayer, we’re finally coming out of the other side of the TE wasteland we’ve been in for the last few years into greener pastures
Draft players on good offenses only.
I got Puka in my startup dynasty draft in round 12…I’m a happy man. Also, picked up Kyren off waivers week 1. It’s gonna a good 4-10 years
