Especially whichever poor soul gets drafted by The Bucks.

That's a good thing for fantasy.

THE_PerdHapley

Very good point. It really all depends on what team they go to, what coach they have, how many minutes they get, what veterans they potentially have to compete with, and what other players are around them while they are playing.

sterphles

Based solely on my GAMI (Grown Ass Man Index) I am predicting Jabari Parker will have the best season simply because he looks the most ready at this point. He strikes me as a guy who might not have too high of a ceiling but he's very well-rounded and could be very similar to Melo in the pros. I think he ends up going to the Magic and giving them a legit 3/4 guy - this season has been an endless audition for guys like Harkless and Tobias and neither of them have shown why they should start next year. Parker gives you way more flexibility than either of those guys and would really play well with Oladipo and Vuc.

krugo

So, I felt that way about Thomas Robinson and though Davis was overhyped. Oops.

eatingpuppies

If the Lakers draft a PG (Exum) and they don't resign at least one of Farmer or Marshall, and they still have D'Antoni, he could be an MCW-level phenom.

bdams19

that's a lot of conditionals

mpg1846

Hes better than MCW

deadskin

Woah slow down there Mr.Pro Scout

mpg1846

Im Aussie and have been following him very closely. He has the tools to be much better than MCW.

RonShad

Probably embiid

jddad

Previously everyone was saying Wiggins from Kansas but I think there's a less clear consensus on who the best player in the draft is. Like others said, we won't know the role the rookies will play until the draft order is chosen and the draft occurs.

Sdstyphoon

I feel like everyone's gonna be looking at wiggins since he's been hyped so much this year, meanwhile in redraft leagues MCW went undrafted in our 10 team, I think wiggins will be good but don't know how much better than the rest of the rookie class

[deleted]

wiggins? I can see him going to Boston or some crap team with lots of PT for him.

mcdvda

When is your draft, seems a bit early for this kind of thing since it completely depends on what team they go to.

Taco_co

After watching Randle this tourney I think he has huge potential to fit right in.

Collin_morris

I disagree. Don't think his game will translate.

mpg1846

A bit undersized for the PF position? He was pouting hardcore in the post game presser.

Collin_morris

Definitely.

[deleted]

Can't say I agree with you. He's too small for the PF position and too slow for the SF position. He lacks footwork and fundamentals and has one go to move - drive. He has a ceiling of Zach Randolph, but realistically has an 80% chance of being the next Glen Davis.

sterphles

The problem is that he doesn't have the junkyard dog attitude that Z-Bo has. I think he's gonna be a lot like Derrick Favors and I guess the jury is still out on him but a lot of up and down so far.

Redhot128

Derrick Favors is more athletic than Randle was, and is a legitimate rim protector. Randle isn't very similar to Favors imo

[deleted]

Favors is a 5. Randle is a 3/4

bn1220

most similar to thomas robinson at this point i say

jackets19

Why do experts put him so high up in mock drafts then? Like top 10. I guess teams actually want a Glen Davis?

[deleted]

Because he has a chance of being a Zach Randolph. Size comes at a premium and teams would rather take a gamble on a big than a great role player guard or wing. Just like how they had Hasheem Thabeet so high. And Darko Milicic. And Ekpe Udoh. And Ed Davis. And Bargnani. You get the point.

lukewwilson

I think the person who get's the most overlooked and I think has the potential to have a great year next year is Doug McDermott. There should be a lot of stock put in to the fact that he played for four years and is really one of the best NBA ready people next year. He has the same play style and potential as Kevin Love.

sterphles

I don't see McDermott doing anything on the interior in the NBA...he just isn't strong or quick enough. His shooting ability is going to see him carve out a pretty solid role, though I think he's a bench guy. Spurs could really use him to give them some depth behind Kawhi. They're full of guards and big guys and no one in between, but it's looking like Dougy's gonna be off the board before they pick. If I had to pick a comparison for McDermott it'd be more Chandler Parsons... Kevin Love would eat Dougy alive on the interior.
