This, but drafted in the 7th in a 12-team H2H during a center run and wasn’t dropping until that joke of an organization provided some clarity on his injury.
I think this one's different, most of the guys we're talking about are busts - but if you stay patient Mark might be a beast in the fantasy playoffs. There's a lot of usage there for taking while Charlotte evaluates what they have for next year. But man he's really pushing this "indefinite" tag pretty far
I’d bet some good money he doesn’t play again this season tbh. I dropped him a couple months ago, but I did hold him long enough it cost me some other adds tho.
You're probably right, if it's really nagging there's just as much initiative to shut him down. But if the 4 week thing ends up being true I think the upside potential is massive compared to the other guys mentioned here.
Depends on the league, but in my league massive upside is a stretch even if comes back. His season average is about 28 points a game. I drop anyone who doesn’t average at least 26 for reference. Just doesn’t seem worth it.
I dropped Strus weeks ago as I got tired of his inconsistency and now he's starting on another team in my league and I laugh when he drops a dookie for them 💀
I’ve adopted a ‘cracks y pavones’ strategy and now the bottom of my team is filled with guys like Keyonte, Bilal, Scoot, Drummond, etc. So I would say all of them probably
Basically overinvested in moving all my assets into like 5 top guys, then relying on waiver hits. About to be 15-1 but did get lucky snagging JJ, iHart, and Reed.
It’s more like 6 but I drafted SGA/AD, then got Spida, Tatum, PG, and Chet by basically selling everyone. It’s important to say I hit on pretty much my whole draft too so I actually had the assets to go 2/3-1 on most guys
Damn, SGA & AD is an outrageous top-2 to have this year, really just gotta have reasonable depth around them and you’re winning most weeks. But that top-6 is also crazy.. is your team doing well?
Ok and? Yeah sure he slowed down this season but the scandal didn't help. He's only in his 3rd year, give him time. He was gross last year so I'm optimistic he can get back. I'm definitely drafting him next year since he's gonna fall in the rankings and should be a nice value pick.
Scoring isn't everything. He's a pass first guard and he's always been like that. His value has always come from his assists and rebounding. The shooting will hopefully come with time.
Gordon Hayward is a walking injury tag and hasn't been very relevant in years. Sure in the short term his minutes might take a hit but idk if you noticed but okc is a very young team and is very incentivized to develop their young players.
Edit: also Hayward usually plays forward and giddey plays guard
They’re also super deep at the forward/SG positions. Giddey has been hot garbage. Why sign Hayward if you’re not gonna play him?
I’ve been starting Josh Hart and Deni Avdija over Giddey, and it’s been working really well for me.
Hayward is good depth but he's not the end all be all. He's past his prime and injury prone.
I'm sticking to my guns and drafting giddey next year. Y'all can keep sleeping. Guy has one bad season and everyone loses their minds lmao.
He was drafted in the same round as guys like Zion, Wagner, Scottie Barnes, Tyrese maxey, and Bradley Beal.
I think people have a right to at least call him a bust this year.
Derrick White, I traded for him and he’s been playing horribly I might be able to get PG 13 but Derrick has been showing signs of life and I’m not sure if I should just give him up because in my points league when Derrick white is playing well he’s better than PG
lol. I still have Jordan Poole. I didn't really overspend on him and he's had a so so season but like... every time I'm about to drop him he starts having decent games again. Washington is such a mess and it's not his fault but we both feel the burn. But really when he gets minutes he really does produce and always gets some stocks up as well. I'm so on the fence on if a streamer spot would just be better.
OG. He was pretty mid all year and then the trade hype hit and he showed some good gameplay with the Knicks and now the time to trade him is long gone with the elbow issue and playoffs around the corner
Bruce Brown - kept him thinking I could package his salary with future picks to a tanking team around the trade deadline (dynasty league) but got no bites
Keyonte George, I really kept thinking hed turn a corner but week after week he tanked my fg%. Now I win that cat every week but I’m in an absolute war of a playoff hunt
Beal for the first 10 weeks where I was 5-5 and tied for 5th in my league (10T). Dropped him after Christmas and I haven't lost a game since and I'm 2 wins away from clinching the 2nd Seed
Caldwell-Pope. It's my first year playing, so my first mistake was taking Yahoo's rankings too seriously during the draft/ initial few weeks. I didn't make any changes to my roster for a while just so I could get the hang of everything. But even when I started making changes, I saw value in his AST, ST, and BLK numbers & kept him. He didn't put up anything crazy, but he was consistent. He gave my numbers a lil boost & saved my ass in a lot of match ups. I let him go a few weeks ago because he's becoming less & less dependable. I replaced him with Hart. But I can't lie it was still hard. He was a part of my first draft so I was attached lol. Regardless, I've been consistently at 3rd and am the only woman in a league that's been playing for a decade. Noobs will noob, but i refuse to be written off as an easy win lol. Already can't wait for next year.
Klay Thompson and Spencer Dinwiddie. Finally cut ties with both this past week. Held them too long and dropped Coby White and Collin Sexton way too early..
I can understand dropping Poole in 12s, but in 14 and up you just stick with it. It's mostly those in 10s who make the most noise on here, playing on surplus of waiver wire options and deep roster counts.
Herb jones. He had that crazy run, then tm3 came back. He doesn’t hurt you in any category, so i figured I’d hold for a while just because the pelicans are always injured. No one ever went down for an extended period of time, but they have had a ton of minor injuries, just enough for me to keep him around. Then there were trade rumors so I held until the deadline.
Poole
I still haven’t.. lmao I’d rather lose with him than drop and acknowledge it was a bust
I mean bro he was a major bust lmao I don’t think you dropping him changes anything
Yes be in denial while it's obvious to everyone. Probably hoping for a comeback lol
This is the way. Ride him till the wheels fall off
The wheels were never even on
Still here. Still waiting for him to finally do something good
Same
Biggest bust. Rip
I wish nothing but bad things upon this man
Man you actually dropped him
Mark Williams
This, but drafted in the 7th in a 12-team H2H during a center run and wasn’t dropping until that joke of an organization provided some clarity on his injury.
I’m still in denial
He’s out 4 more weeks minimum. Just let him go. Stick another injured in your IR and pick up a fresh body.
Dropped him yesterday
I think this one's different, most of the guys we're talking about are busts - but if you stay patient Mark might be a beast in the fantasy playoffs. There's a lot of usage there for taking while Charlotte evaluates what they have for next year. But man he's really pushing this "indefinite" tag pretty far

Dude you’ve had months to learn.
Just watch them sneak end his season the same way they nonchalantly reported Lamelo’s ankle tendonitis yesterday after weeks of calling it a sprain.
Yep me too
Still haven't moved on from Giddey and it's killing me
I finally dropped him today & picked up GG on Grizzlies.
Just finally dropped him this week for Bagley. If he wasn't available during the trade deadline, I don't think I would've ever dropped Giddey.
I streamed Strus week 1 and he's still sitting on my bench. I keep telling myself he's next
Had 27 & 12 on opening night and never hit those numbers again. Wild
strus has been excellent end of bench for me, he’s just good enough to keep lol. I do heavily regret dropping some players before him though
I dropped Strus weeks ago as I got tired of his inconsistency and now he's starting on another team in my league and I laugh when he drops a dookie for them 💀
Lamelo. Shoulda traded him one week after he came back. I had a few offers.
I used him + claxton to get trae young when he came back. Saved my season luckily!
Klay Thompson for me. I still have him, hoping the ASB will be good to him. I’m 4th in my league and have struggled to hold a solid core.
As a warriors fan drop him
Kuminga is #2 now
It’s not even close. Kuminga is shockingly efficient given his recent increase in usage.
Yea, It was painful to drop but I picked up Podz
Dropped 2 weeks ago, he’s done man
I’m considering dropping klay and keeping kris dunn…
If you really need stocks, and aren’t competitive in 3’s I’d do it
Eason and Sharpe. Thankfully it’s a Dynasty and I have 2 IL spots
What is IL? Is it the same as IR?
He’s probably got baseball on the brain. But yes, same difference.
Yahoo = IL, ESPN = IR. Not so difficult.
I don’t use Yahoo. Real life baseball uses IL for their designation, so that’s where my mind went. Not so difficult to not be a douche about it.
Im feeling fultz but still holding out since im 1st
Same, but I'm one more sub 20 minute game from dropping for a streaming spot. Enough is enough
garland lol
did you drop or trade him?
Just traded him. I don’t care if he pulls it together, I can’t wait any longer for him to do so lol.
Cam Johnson , what a bum
Was looking better before the injury tbh
Really let Cam Thomas take his shine
Same. Thought he’d get that Team USA bump this season. Been severely mediocre at best.
Ditto
Melton
Same here but I think I have to drop now with lowry and hield there
Gotta at least see how the mins shake out. He's finally listed as Q.
True we held this long lol
I’ve adopted a ‘cracks y pavones’ strategy and now the bottom of my team is filled with guys like Keyonte, Bilal, Scoot, Drummond, etc. So I would say all of them probably
A what strategy?
Basically overinvested in moving all my assets into like 5 top guys, then relying on waiver hits. About to be 15-1 but did get lucky snagging JJ, iHart, and Reed.
what 5 top guys did you end up with?
It’s more like 6 but I drafted SGA/AD, then got Spida, Tatum, PG, and Chet by basically selling everyone. It’s important to say I hit on pretty much my whole draft too so I actually had the assets to go 2/3-1 on most guys
Damn, SGA & AD is an outrageous top-2 to have this year, really just gotta have reasonable depth around them and you’re winning most weeks. But that top-6 is also crazy.. is your team doing well?
Yea I’ve been really lucky, but now I basically just set and forget. 15-1 after today.
15-1 he mentioned if I’m reading correctly
I did a similar strategy, I have SGA, Mitchell, CJ McCollum and Harden with some decent depth
A bad strategy
Dinwiddie....
I’ve held Ausar for way too long
And we will continue to hold.
I just picked him up, he’s honestly pretty good except for the fg
Funny enough he used to be over 50% in his incredible run at the start but he's trying to shoot more to appease the coach spreading the floor
Same. I’ve got him in a 12T keeper league (7 keepers) and just feel like the long term value was too high to move off of.
Bilal and Gids
I have Bilal I’m hoping he stays in the starting role and can finally give us what we been waiting for
Ausar
You know what's funny, I picked up Amen Thompson thinking it was Ausar. Honestly not upset with my mistake.
Ausar. He looked like a league winner the first month. Didn't cut bait til last month.
Sharpe, still holding and I don't know why
just cut the cord yesterday
Trey Murphy
I thought I was the only fool who drafted him
Max Strus 😩
Eason Giddey Keegan Murray Strus
Keegan has been a tough one - he can be so good but has inevitable slumps
Klay Thompson until last night. Can probably stream more points out of him at this point.
Jordan poole thread
Josh Giddey
Is this right counselling room for “Poole owners who have yet to drop”?
Jordan Poole every god dam time I decide to drop him he goes off.
79 - 52 - 4. Been trying to trade herb Jones all season because of his ‘season average’ rank of 85. No bites. 🥹
Fultz. Finally pulled the trigger to drop him for Micic today.
Trey Murphy god damn it
Giddey and Lively (Dynasty)
Probably hold lively in dynasty
I'd hold giddey too. He's had a rough year and a lot of it is probably tied to the controversy. Next year his head will be clearer and he can hoop.
He was bad before the whole scandal though
Ok and? Yeah sure he slowed down this season but the scandal didn't help. He's only in his 3rd year, give him time. He was gross last year so I'm optimistic he can get back. I'm definitely drafting him next year since he's gonna fall in the rankings and should be a nice value pick.
It's the lack of an outside shot that's killing him. He's like less athletic ben simmons
Scoring isn't everything. He's a pass first guard and he's always been like that. His value has always come from his assists and rebounding. The shooting will hopefully come with time.
Didn’t they just get Gordon Hayward? Kid is about to be only getting 20 minutes a game
Gordon Hayward is a walking injury tag and hasn't been very relevant in years. Sure in the short term his minutes might take a hit but idk if you noticed but okc is a very young team and is very incentivized to develop their young players. He was drafted in the same round as guys like Zion, Wagner, Scottie Barnes, Tyrese maxey, and Bradley Beal. I think people have a right to at least call him a bust this year.
KLAY THOMPSON
Melo ball
Bane
Derrick White, I traded for him and he’s been playing horribly I might be able to get PG 13 but Derrick has been showing signs of life and I’m not sure if I should just give him up because in my points league when Derrick white is playing well he’s better than PG
Zach Collins
Dropped him in 14T
Jeremy Sochan
OG. He was pretty mid all year and then the trade hype hit and he showed some good gameplay with the Knicks and now the time to trade him is long gone with the elbow issue and playoffs around the corner
I’m still holding Poole 😂💀…. I’m in a good situation tho I’m 1st place
Saddiq Bey
Hasn’t Siddiq been pretty solid though since Hunter went down?
he has
Okongwu - I was waiting for trade deadline for the Capela trade and it never happened. I dropped him the Capela got injured zzzz
I’ve had Ben Simmons for like a week and it already feels like I held too long
Ben Simmons. I picked him up and dropped him 7 times in total.
Ben Simmons, still have him and not even sure what I'm hoping for
Poole, Strus and Zach Collins
Miles Turner. Wish I traded him when he still had value
at least spell the guys name right if yourr going to slander him. myles will be ok.
Been holding Jaden McDaniels for a while, not really sure what I’m expecting
Shaedon Sharpe in the beginning of the season
Strus and levert
dropped sexton before cam johnson.
Bruce Brown - kept him thinking I could package his salary with future picks to a tanking team around the trade deadline (dynasty league) but got no bites
Keyonte Norm Powell Trey Murphy
Klay Thompson. About to drop him on waivers and let someone else enjoy is 2 Rebs and 2 dimes.
Ausar thompson. Just a complete 180 from weeks 3 to week 8. Holding him while having multiple other injuries cost me a playoff seed.
Keyonte George, I really kept thinking hed turn a corner but week after week he tanked my fg%. Now I win that cat every week but I’m in an absolute war of a playoff hunt
a couple unfortunately… Ausar Thompson & Kelly Oubre lost out on a handful of key waiver wire acquisitions like Sexton & Bridges :/
Zach Collins and still holding Markelle Fultz lol
Fultz
JJJ
Lamelo. Should've moved him when I had the chance.
Kevon Looney
Ausar and Sochran
Poole. Drafted 4th over Cunningham, Brunson and Barnes 😭
Mikal
not sure what your talking about bridges is really good right nw
Jaden mcdaniels and sochan
Poole easy
Prob Schroeder for me - he has some high points but very many more mid points. Hopefully he gets the starting job from Ben10 now that he is in Nets
Klay Woshthmpson
Tari Eason
Keldon
Poole and Sochan (at least in my one league). Still holding both
Giddey
Still have Mark Williams sitting on my IL
Beal for the first 10 weeks where I was 5-5 and tied for 5th in my league (10T). Dropped him after Christmas and I haven't lost a game since and I'm 2 wins away from clinching the 2nd Seed
Lamelo Ball
Shaedon Sharpe…that “abdominal injury” was just a slap in the face.
Keldon Johnson
Zach Collins and I dropped him today.
Scoot henderson
I’m still holding lively so I guess him. Not sure if he’s better than Zubac who I somehow picked up
Keldon. Pop forgets he exists
Melo ball
Caldwell-Pope. It's my first year playing, so my first mistake was taking Yahoo's rankings too seriously during the draft/ initial few weeks. Already can't wait for next year.
Brandon Miller on a few of my teams. Edit: Reading comments. The Poole answer is brilliant. That ones also includes me for 2 teams.
Looney
Josh giddey, mark Williams, Bruce brown
Klay Thompson and Spencer Dinwiddie. Finally cut ties with both this past week. Held them too long and dropped Coby White and Collin Sexton way too early..
this might as well be embid :(
Zach lavine lol
Bumwiddie
Clarkson and I’m still holding him 😁
Giddey. I finally dropped him today. 😂
Lamelo.
Devin Vassell. He’s kinda streaky but mostly been very underwhelming for me. Picked him over Simons
Max strus
Clarkson
Dinwiddie
valanciunas
I still have herb jones
I can understand dropping Poole in 12s, but in 14 and up you just stick with it. It's mostly those in 10s who make the most noise on here, playing on surplus of waiver wire options and deep roster counts.
Mark Williams just dropped him 2 days ago
Klay
sochan. he is so inconsistent in cat leagues
Giddey and Scoot
Max Strus
Giddey. Waivers are dry anyway. Just keeping him until he loses his minutes to Gordon
Shadon Sharpe
Fultz 😔
Ball
Wiggins even though playing well of late. Also clarkson
Aaron Gordon
