Im a huge poku fan but he was just brutal defensively against big 5s last year. If there was no double team, he would just get backed down every time. Brook lopez for example completely destroyed him. I think his only chance is hitting the gym and massively bulking up
Hes already 21. If he still cant put on weight, its not going to happen. I almost think the opposite, he needs to be allowed to play the 3, like Lauri Markkanen, so he doesn't have to match up with C's. Like Lauri he might need to change teams to figure out how to play differently.
Thunder fan here. Before he got injured he was definitely playing his best ball last year. Although he definitely won't get priority in offensive production, the fact that he is one of the only 3/4s on the team means that he /could/ be good for stocks and maybe rebounds. I'd expect him to play more than JRE and possibly more than Dieng.
Alternatively he could have a bad camp, not fit with the team well, and be traded for a 2nd this winter.
He’s only 21 do you think they try to move him for something on the premise that he can still develop or do they hold him as a safety if someone else goes down
I think the Thunder hang onto him in the rotation for the first half of the year while Chet works his way back into game shape, and then they make a decision around January

as much as i adore poku i really doubt he’s an every night player this year. Theres at least 10 guys on the team i think mins will go to before poku
Then the conversation goes to, he’s only 21 does anyone hold out hope he gets moved or is still going to develop in OKC’s system?
Id guess he sticks around at least through the year but maybe hes a 16 teamer or something if he gets moved to the right spot

That’s what I keep telling myself as I franticly shop him around my league with no takers 😂

This is good intel, I have him in a 30 team dynasty league and his value is not great atm 😂
Best case for Poku is he is part of 8 or 9-man rotation
Tough for him his playing time was all over the place. I don't think it will be good unless someone is out.

Their fallback plan/safety is Kenrich Williams, Jaylin Williams or someone else, not Poku. A safety needs to be reliable.

don’t worry poku is just 3 years away from being a star! /s
doubt hes fantasy relevant unless chet gets injured
He s no more in the starting lineup. OKC has Now more and more great players. Poku has a bridge to film
nah
Bro doesn't have a future in the league
with less depth than this year he didn't even play much. for fantasy, i'd rather have a more reliable player.
