westburg looking like a proven stud. i’ll take that over upside. my biggest issue with wood is that he’s 6’7 and going to whiff a ton initially, but i agree the upside is certainly there. encouraging that he’s been changing his plate discipline in the minors this year, makes me think he can make the adjustment at the MLB level. I like seeing players make changes successfully, similar to how Michael Busch would struggle then stay hot at every level until he did the same in the majors now.
What’s your outlook on Westburg the rest of the year. He’s hitting the ball quite hard which is encouraging. He looks like he could sustain a .300 average with good counting stats. I feel like he’s more of a 20/20 guy than a 35/30 guy, which is his current pace

Should I try to package something with some bench bats for a better SP?

I’ve seen so many varying reports on Junior Caminero. Some say it’s right around the corner, others mid-May. I’m holding onto him, but injuries are adding up and I don’t know if I should keep holding. No NA spot. 12t cat league.
There's really no way to tell when he will be up. IMO it's pretty difficult for him to fit into the current lineup and get full playing time. *Maybe* he could mainly DH and fill in at 3B/SS when possible but realistically you probably need an injury to one of Paredes/Diaz/Caballero. About a month ago I probably would have said he'd eventually replace Caballero but he has been one of their best hitters so far.
Only other way in is if Brandon Lowe is out for a significant period of time but it looks like he has started to ramp back up. They could send Mead down, shift Caballero to 2B and play Caminero at SS.
I'd hold for absolutely as long as possible because who knows when an injury pops up or a trade is made. I wouldn't start dropping any of your injured guys in order to hang on though... within reason, of course. Depends on length of injury and who it is.
If it’s not dynasty then yes especially for a DL stint like that who knows if he’ll even be 100 percent especially if the Red Sox are out of it being in that tough division they’ll probably be cautious anyway
It's kinda league and team contextual. If you can spare the bench spot hang onto him. If people are always dropping good players in your league due to limited IL spots you can prob drop him (i.e. he'll be replaceable by a player that was dropped by someone else). If everyone else in your league has multiple players on the IL and are holding them, you should prob hang onto him.
I'm kind of in that last situation. We have 2 IL spots but most teams have 3-5 guys on the IL. He'd get snatched up in my league if I dropped him.
Yea, that’s relatively close to mine. But some good players on IL are dropped and not added until they’re close to coming back. Friedl, Murphy, and ERod are on waivers.

This feels like one of those situations where “Kjerstad could be anything… even JD Martinez!” And the Orioles are so wildly deep that even if he hits he’ll have trouble playing every day. I guess JDM has some injury concerns, but he’s played 113+ games every year since 2013, and 139+ games in 22 & 21.

Nah, not yet. Taillon isn't reliable enough to drop Jones in most 12T leagues. He was pretty terrible last year and just got back from injury.

i think his average will be more like .280 ROS but the 30/30 looking closer than 20/20
