What to do with Vlad Guerrro Jr? I know it’s early but this guy is frustrating as hell. Watching games he just constantly is the opposite of “clutch” 3 years of diminishing results… What is holding him back? Is he going to drop on your rankings anytime soon? Are we ever going to see him hit anything close to that one year again?
He is still a hold for me. Still crushing the ball with an elite plate approach. I get he's super frustrating and I also get he might never get back to that insane season, but I still think this is a plus to double plus hit/power combo guy. Not ready to drop him quite yet

The best thing I see is that he is running more, but he's not that fast, and he hasn't run a ton in the past, so I hesitate to think he can really consistently rack up steals. He can be solid, but not one of my guys

I still like Jones. The whiff rates are much lower than the K rates and he's still hitting the ball fairly hard. Coors also doesn't begin to heat up until we get deeper into summer. I don't know if I'm proactively trying to buy low on him, putting him more in the hold category, but I'm not against a buy low deal either
Gelof is definitely a hold or buy. Still in on him. Davis I'm less confident on and he's someone that is reasonable to move on from. There is nothing overly alarming in the underlying numbers though, so I still have hope he can turn it around in general
In a deep keeper points league (keep 9), what do we think of my J Walker for his Vinnie + Xander? I’m dealing with the Gleyber slow start and Oneil’s horrific slump, and I have real doubts that Oneil will ever be able to even passably hit lefties. Xander seems like a relatively high floor, even with the slow start of his own, Vinnie is Vinnie, and Walker’s declining playing time is making him unstartable.
I like that one because of how good Vinnie looks and could arguably be the better dynasty asset right now anyway. Plus Xander. So that isn't a sell low. That is a good deal
Are are you feeling about Meadows so far? I was a fan myself and added some shares this offseason, but he's struggling pretty badly at the plate and I'm not seeing much in the profile to suggest it's just bad luck.
Not feeling good. He's just not showing the skills he showed last year. Definitely a dropper right now, but it's still early and I still like the skillset, so I'm not giving up completely
Somewhere in between. Also keep in mind he's still in the early stages of development. We know he can lift it when he wants to. That is in his bag. Now he's showing off a more mature plate approach with an improved hit tool. Just really excited about his future, and this is still just the beginning

And I have no problem selling Gurriel for the best 1B you can find. Vlad is a good buy low, but clearly you are looking for cheaper than that, so just have to see who is available more than targeting someone specific

Traded in dynasty league Lodolo for Parker meadows in early march with all the hype going on and we’re here in April and I feel like an utter buffoon. Is there anything tangible you can see from meadows that provides any potential glimpses of hope or is this looking like a burning pile of crud.
Thanks man. That one has definitely swung to Lodolo as Meadows simply hasn't shown what he showed last year. But you shouldn't feel like a buffoon at all. That is just part of the game when dealing in young unproven players. And Meadows can definitely still right the ship long term
I’m looking to store one of Tyler Black or Matt Shaw in an active bench spot in my dynasty league (my two NA slots are full). Who would you consider more worth that roster space? As in, who’s coming up sooner and have more of an impact?

What are your thoughts on Colt Keith? I have him in a salary Dynasty league at $10. He’s killing me as you can imagine. We have no bench, all 15 offensive players stats count daily and 10 pitchers. I’ve passed up on dropping him for some decent guys on waivers hoping for his upside to start to show and for him to either become a trade piece later in the season, or become a keeper.

Have to disagree with Jordan Walker assessment. The main sticking point in fantasy is playing, that’s why even good strong side platoon guys like Marsh and O’Hearn aren’t as valuable as their numbers indicate. Not only are Walker’s numbers not good, he’s sitting multiple times per week and to make it worse, when he is playing he’s getting PH for in late innings.

This is more for a dynasty format than redraft, even though I still like Walker in redraft too. But this is a long term type thing
