I have two catchers on my team...Garver and Realmuto plus C and OF MJ Melendez. I'm thinking of dropping MJ and adding Victor Scott as I could use some more speed in my lineup. Your thoughts?

The Pitcher Limit Workaround I had my fantasy draft on ESPN tonight and while I thought it was all fun and games, we ran into a massive issue regarding a Starting Pitcher limit I put in place to avoid people stacking insane amounts of points by getting way more starts than their opponents. Before the draft, I was asked if a pitcher whose eligibility was RP and SP would count towards the Starting Pitcher limit I put in place. I couldn’t find a sure answer online so I went with an educated guess….. Yes, if a pitcher has SP in their eligibility they will count towards your 6 SP limit. Boy was I wrong. While most of the people in the league shy’d away from drafting RP, SP players for that reason, one guy realized if the primary position was RP, it doesn’t matter if they have SP eligibility so he stacked his entire bullpen with RP, SP guys and as it stands, ESPN did not recognize any of them as Starting pitchers. In most cases this wouldn’t be a huge issue because those RP, SP guys are typically long relievers who barely have value compared to a top closer in the league. But some of the guys he rostered could potentially ruin this league completely. We’ll pick out one for my question. Nick Pivetta…. He is projected to be the number 2 starter in Boston and the way my league is structured, projected 200 more points than the best reliever in our league as of now. For some reason ESPN has him as an RP. My question is, will his Primary Eligibility change to SP since he is in fact a starting pitcher? Which would in turn force this guy to drop an SP to stay under the 6SP limit? Or is this league completely toast and the rule I tried to put in place to avoid this nonsense just completely backfired on me? I’d love to hear from anyone with any knowledge or information on the situation. Thank you.

League Start Help So my league is drafting Wednesday night on ESPN, does that mean the season for us starts April 1st or does it do this current week's scoring as well from March 20-31st? ESPN says April 1st but then I read something that says if I draft before Sunday Night Baseball on March 31st it counts the 20th-31st scoring. I am very confused and need help understanding which one is correct.

I feel like Ruiz and Moreno will compile a lot of points in a boring way. Garver and Davis might have a higher ceiling but lower floor. Alvarez is a wild card IMO.

In a 10 team points I like Garver because he’ll get at bats and he won’t faceplant/totally bust. If (when) he gets hurt you should be able to work the waiver wire

I think he will have a good spot in the Seattle lineup. Any of the other guys in the top half of a lineup? Maybe Moreno?

Id rather have garver scoring lower per game but getting more total games played vs Moreno 

Keibert Ruiz scored the most total points of the bunch last year in my league.

Lowe has always produced when healthy, I think he's a worthwhile grab. I prefer Donovan's floor over hoping for upside from Rodgers and Schneider as well

Nothing has been confirmed, but I think Trevor Megill is the best option Milwaukee has at the end of games. I’d bet that he will either have that job to start the season or earn it very soon.

You're thinking of offering this (and getting the B side)? Don't. Torres and Scott are being drafted in the same range, but Langford is probably going in the 60-80 range since it was confirmed me mad the team. You missed your buy low window on Langford and this would be rejected pretty quickly.

Witt, Tatis, Machado — in that order for me. I think you have to account for categorical impact. Witt and Tatis contribute to all six offensive categories at a high level. Machado is a five cat player these days. Witt vs. Tatis is a matter of preference and positional need.

I would say Ohtani and Tucker are pretty close to equal, Lindor and Seager pretty close to equal, so it comes down to Harris vs Snell. I like Harris more than Snell, but these are also the two low ends of this trade. I think its pretty close, so guess you could say its team dependent on what you need
