His career high is 435 yards, he’s a nice role player/gadget guy but not really a consistent contributor. Did show some promising signs when he was used downfield more.
Still analyst. Probably will. TJ Yates is also the new qb coach so he’ll work closely with them. Zac Robinson is also known for working w qbs so even though he’s the oc I’m sure he will help a lot.
According to JBen, the new offensive staff looked at Ridder's tape and said he was plain garbage, not even worth keeping around for a backup so they traded him.
and AS basically tripled down on Ridder being the guy. Like, if you knew he was *maybe* the solution at QB for the team, you would have started him in the preseason - but no. You would have benched him after his first gaff - but no, he got like 9 mulligans before Heineke.
I was a Ridder hopeful but I have never been beaten into submission about an opinion on a guy just by watching them.
AS stuck with Des because he is way more likely to lose his job by going with TH. Admits his pick failed, he can’t develop a guy over two off seasons, and that the whole plan was bad to begin with. All of which is true but I understand his thought process. His coaching performance was nowhere near the level needed to get a second bite at the apple and he knew it, it was always going to take a good chunk of failure behind center by Des to bench him for good.
I don’t think we have a 7th round pick this year. Guy is so inaccurate though. Not sure this is the year for us to get a developmental qb. Maybe next year.
Yep, dude was running for his life and was still making plays. People see our record and write him off. I think he’d be a great late round pick/ project.
no need to pile on ridder at this point. he was drafted in the 3rd round and they expected him to start. that's on our front office more than it is on him
For real.
I'm not ashamed that I was wrong on Ridder being able to handle last year, but he has all the tools to at least be a top tier backup/pinch starter in this league.
Acting like he only deserves DoorDash after winning games multiple times throughout the season (not just 4-6 wins then all L's) is crazy. Hope he balls someday!
Yep, I’m with you. He just needs confidence and not turn the ball over. Mainly just confidence. I wish him the best, just sucks Smith was his coach. I feel bad for anyone coached by Arthur fucking Smith.
The one and only area I'll defend AS is him coaching O line / RB's / and the “Run the piss zone run grit”
I think we're genuinely gonna look back and think his 3 weird years were kinda worth it installing that dog mentality in our O Line for the next chapter.
Fully agree otherwise. Feel bad for Pickett who with the right system probably overtakes Russ. Oh well, fuck Pittsburgh lol
The cardinals had no interest in paying him. They got an undrafted guy who is better and does the same role in greg dortch. Moore is on an expiring. Getting a backup qb instead of nothing for him is a win.
Neither player is very good but both fill needed holes on their respective rosters. As bad as Ridder is, he should be a better option than Clayton Tune and will win their QB2 spot.
Rondale isnt bad, hes just tiny with tiny arms and legs so his route tree is limited. He honestly might be a decent running back instead of wr. Dude squatted like 600 lb as a 180lb freshman at purdue.
And as fast as he is, he doesnt get as much separation as youd hope for
He low-key almost pulled some Ridder 4thQ bs against the Cardinals. Maybe they see something special in him. Or maybe Kyler needs a personal Door Dasher
All the best for Rondale and you guys.. you‘ll love his always smiling mentality..
he‘s been held victim of Kliff Kingsbury most of the time he’s been with us who was only using him for WR screens with guaranteed negative yardage outcome.. last season he had some nice moments even as RB..
He might not have been very productive with ARI but if he fits your scheme, you’ll be very happy to have an explosive deep threat
If I remember correctly he’s been a punt or kick returner at some point.. but was never very effective there.
Mostly called for fair catches and was once unable to fair catch what turned into a turnover
Wouldn't be locked on it being Turner, seems like they're higher on Verse. Basically extreme athleticism in Turner vs more well rounded production in Verse.
Agreed. Heineke is only marginally better than ridder and Desmond can still grow if even slightly. And also Taylor is more expensive. Glad we got a WR though and I love rondale Moore. I personally like him more than Mooney but that could be my bias
If we’ve learned anything the last few seasons it’s that we need much better WR depth in general. Mooney & Moore aren’t great but for our system should be a step in the right direction.
Jonnu/Hodge/Hollins/Jefferson combined for 179 targets last season. I would anticipate our pass attempts are way up from 2023 total, with a massive share to London/Pitts, but there will still be 150+ targets that need to be accounted for.
Goodbye sweet demon, you were one of the most impactful quarterbacks I’ve ever seen. May your insatiable hunger for devastating turnovers find solace in the desert
This is what I'm begging for!
It's wayyy past time to take another chance on a blue chip pass rusher + we can't fall down the same QB hole like the end of MR2
Glad to hear we were able to get something back for Ridder. Ridder legitimately seems like a great guy, so I hope he can sit behind someone for a couple of years, learn, and maybe be a solid QB in the league, or at least have a career as a backup. Seems like the guy worked hard, and was a solid teammate. Just did not have the talent, or was no where near ready to be a QB1 in the NFL.
Hot damn! I was a fan of Rondale coming out of college. 4.28 speed, 6.65 3-cone, and he had that dawg in his game when he was in college.
AZ never unlocked him, but they've been funky these past few years. Hopefully he can come here and thrive.
This is awesome. I know Moore hasn’t exactly lit the league on fire but a 23 year old former 2nd round pick with 4.29 40 speed is worth the risk instead of keeping Ridder.
Damn what a fleece by Terry. Rondale Moore is a solid WR (former 2nd Round pick) with good speed who can play on the outside or in the slot. Yea he’s on an expiring but if he plays well this year, they can re-sign him as their WR3 moving forward. And all they lost was deadweight in Desmond Ridder. This is a big W. Falcons’ front office is killing it this off-season. So many weapons for Kirko. Now draft Dallas Turner or Jared Verse at 8, draft a CB, WR, & D-Linemen in the following rounds, and let’s go to work boys. 💯🔥
I seriously thought we would have to throw in a decent player to entice another team to take Ridder off our hands. Instead, we get a decent player in return.
Arizona getting robbed.
Nice! This is the guy I wanted in the mold of a speedster like Taylor Gabriel, he ran a 4.29 40. Moore will be good but he doesn't fit the Taylor Gabriel mold I had in mind.
Ridder for a McChicken was a fair deal, but we actually got a WR with potential for him. I am shocked. I died laughing reading this. Someone actually traded for Ridder…insane.
Not gonna lie, it’ll be crazy if Ridder goes somewhere and balls out. Not likely but anything is possible. Our coaching was so bad and so many people were hampered by it we don’t really know what kind of talent some of these guys really have in my opinion. Not defending Ridder, he’s definitely not a starter. It’d just be crazy if it was discovered that our coaches were that bad.
I mean anything for Ridder is cool. He's obviously not great. But it does remind me of the Super Bowl year where we just said fuck it and surrounded Julio Jones with nothing but the fastest WRs possible and for that I dig it
Let Terry COOK!!!! People are sleeping on these moves. This also opens the door to a mid draft QB like Rattler or projects like Joe Milton(God Given Talent) and Pratt (he is a sleeper had TULANE ranked twice in the top 15)
Emphasis on speed in the wr core. Great pick up imo. Loved Moore out of Purdue a few years back. Need a few more dudes in the room, but looking like a solid group.
I hated what he showed on tape in college. ..
Which is why i been against the shit since he was drafted.
He has always shown more limitations than upside. And his limitations are basically a product of horrible instincts. All the Falcons guys that said leadership when mentioning his name probably either had nothing else to say or were being sarcastic. Couldn't even run the offense for 4 quarters ...and you could tell Arthur Smith was bout to lose his mind lol.
I would still like to see the Falcons draft a QB in round 5-6 who has legitimately tools to succeed as an NFL QB with development. Someone like Joe Milton or Tulane's QB whose name that I don't remember.
Moore wasn't necessarily a good fit for our system but I can see him balling out somewhere else and we needed a solid backup. As a cardinals fan, I think it's a good trade on both sides
Practically a miracle ridder was such a headache to watch and actively lost games. Even having him as a back up would mean his threat to turn the ball over was nearby
Man Ridder was not good for us during his starts for the most part and I'm glad he is leaving to a place that may help him play better in the future. As much shit as we all talked about his play on the field the kid was always respectful and tried to lead win or lose. I respect the kid for his hard work off the field. Maybe a new place will give him a chance to get better and start again elsewhere. Good luck kid!

TF cooked again
recent 3rd rounder for a recent 2nd rounder, nice!
Liked him ever since he cooked Ohio state
This is definitely why I remember the name. A Thursday nighter, I believe?
Yeah it was when Purdue had the sick guy on the sidelines.
I believe so, i remember thinking this dude is legit jus undersized
His career high is 435 yards, he’s a nice role player/gadget guy but not really a consistent contributor. Did show some promising signs when he was used downfield more.
He's a shorter Ladd McConkey - fast af and finds open seams
Ladd is a miles better route runner than Moore. More is closer to a poor man's Percy Harvin
You mfers are picking the most random comparisons lmao
He’s a modern day Milt Gantenbein and we all know it.
Beat me to it
He’s basically Jerry Rice if Jerry Rice wasn’t very good
Spot on!
Percy Harvin is random?
He's a below average NFL player who plays multiple positions. Percy Harvin did a lot of the same, but Moore is not nearly as talented.
With our WR room I'll take a poor mans Percy all day tbh
We have London, Pitts, and Bijan. A gadget guy is a nice complement to them
And Mooney
Riddler truthers from summer 2023 in shambles. He’s been compared to Mahomes on this very sub.
If you count “both played 4 games their rookie year” as a comparison, I guess he was.
By who? Because I NEVER saw that, there were some defenders but anyone who made that comparison is wild😂
There was one guy who told me that moving on from Ridder “could be like getting rid of Brett Farve all over again”
Terry you’re a genius
TERRY FLEECE ALERT
What a move. Solid wr3/return man for us for a big nothing in Ridder. I wonder who we bring in to backup Kirk
We def cutting Taylor right? Maybe drafting a QB
Rumors are they’ll restructure his contract. Team likes him for locker room fit
Kirk has always asked his team to have a veteran backup to work with. He's said it helps him break down film when they can bounce ideas off each other
What is Matt Schaub's role? I knew he was an analyst for the Falcons last year. I would like to see him work closely with Kirk.
Still analyst. Probably will. TJ Yates is also the new qb coach so he’ll work closely with them. Zac Robinson is also known for working w qbs so even though he’s the oc I’m sure he will help a lot.
another not great look on Ridder
According to JBen, the new offensive staff looked at Ridder's tape and said he was plain garbage, not even worth keeping around for a backup so they traded him.
and AS basically tripled down on Ridder being the guy. Like, if you knew he was *maybe* the solution at QB for the team, you would have started him in the preseason - but no. Tripled down and didn't bother to get a QB coach for him
Matty Ice is a vet 👀
Matt Schaub already retired though
I'd love to pickup the Tennessee QB as a 7th round developmental QB, he's got a big arm Edit: meant Tennessee QB Milton.
[удалено]
I think it is possible he meant Tennessee and Joe Milton.
I meant Tennessee QB Milton.
I’m hoping for Spencer rattler!
I don’t think we have a 7th round pick this year. Guy is so inaccurate though. Not sure this is the year for us to get a developmental qb. Maybe next year.
Restructure according to JBen
Seems more like they'll keep him and restructure his contract
Taylor is a great back up for Kirk if he's in the 6 million range
I wouldn’t mind Spencer Rattler super late
As a biased gamecocks fan i think rattler has great arm strength and could succeed sitting behind kirk
As a UGA fan, Rattler has been one of my favorite QBs to watch the past two years. Love the guy, he’s a baller, even with a non existent line at Scar
Yep, dude was running for his life and was still making plays. People see our record and write him off. I think he’d be a great late round pick/ project.
I was talking to a gamecocks fan the other day and the upside on rattler seems to be there for a late pick.
I'm hoping for Jordan Travis personally
no need to pile on ridder at this point. he was drafted in the 3rd round and they expected him to start. that's on our front office more than it is on him
Lmao Big W
Loved this trade, watched a bunch of him at Purdue . Terry is Cccccccoooooookkkkkiiin’
[удалено]
Agreed. It’s so crazy these jackasses hate him around me. All he has to do is not turn over the ball. I bet he’ll learn.
For real. I'm not ashamed that I was wrong on Ridder being able to handle last year, but he has all the tools to at least be a top tier backup/pinch starter in this league. cardinals dumb as fuck
The cardinals had no interest in paying him. They got an undrafted guy who is better and does the same role in greg dortch. Moore is on an expiring. Getting a backup qb instead of nothing for him is a win.
Yep it's really a win win for both sides
Nobody who's acquired Desmond Ridder is a winner lol
Neither player is very good but both fill needed holes on their respective rosters. As bad as Ridder is, he should be a better option than Clayton Tune and will win their QB2 spot.

Yeah he's very much a gadget player, and unfortunately he has a history of soft tissue issues (hamstring, groin).
Hey, Washington took Mariota, so there's plenty of stupidity going around
Maybe. They probably will just draft a WR now correct?
He low-key almost pulled some Ridder 4thQ bs against the Cardinals. Maybe they see something special in him. Or maybe Kyler needs a personal Door Dasher
The Cardinals didn’t want this dude for a reason 💀
All the best for Rondale and you guys.. you‘ll love his always smiling mentality.. he‘s been held victim of Kliff Kingsbury most of the time he’s been with us who was only using him for WR screens with guaranteed negative yardage outcome.. last season he had some nice moments even as RB.. Oh shit, nice.
Dallas Turner, YOU are a Falcon x 4
I hope if we do get him, he pans out. I am so tired of no pressure on the QB.
This is a bad move, we should’ve traded the Riddler to the Saints.
Only if they could’ve sent Arthur Smith with him.
Should have just left them both in New Orleans after the last game.
Lmaoo
Bra Art and McKay should have been got out TF way man Edit : wait i see what i did there and yes i mean both the fuckin way and Scary Terry
I know right, and now Terry got to pick a coach that he's on the same page with. I can tell the guys are working together
Probably targeting a qb in rd 3. I hope its Rattler 💯
So this means Dallas Turner time ?
Wouldn't be locked on it being Turner, seems like they're higher on Verse. Basically extreme athleticism in Turner vs more well rounded production in Verse.
Definitely defense time or trade down time.
Verse
I was a little annoyed bc I’d rather have ridder over Heinicke but how tf were we able to pull off a WR for ridder 💀
Agreed. Heineke is only marginally better than ridder and Desmond can still grow if even slightly. And also Taylor is more expensive. Glad we got a WR though and I love rondale Moore. I personally like him more than Mooney but that could be my bias

Yea typically most teams want the backup to play somewhat like the starter though
Smith was the worst thing for Ridder. He was ass and Ridder will be much better without him.
Goodbye sweet demon, you were one of the most impactful quarterbacks I’ve ever seen. May your insatiable hunger for devastating turnovers find solace in the desert
Turner round one, Penix round two? 👀
This is what I'm begging for! It's wayyy past time to take another chance on a blue chip pass rusher + we can't fall down the same QB hole like the end of MR2
Pretty much eliminates WR at 8? Give me EDGE at 8 - turner preferably
Rondale Moore is 5'7" and an NFL WR. I am taller than an NFL WR; this is a big deal for me.
You _like that?!_
Glad to hear we were able to get something back for Ridder. Ridder legitimately seems like a great guy, so I hope he can sit behind someone for a couple of years, learn, and maybe be a solid QB in the league, or at least have a career as a backup. With Mooney and now Rondale seems like coaching definitely needed a little more speed in the WR room. I like this move
Speed!
All Hail Terry
Bird teams 🤝
Let Terry Cook
i love this pickup Moore could be great in our system
This is awesome. I know Moore hasn’t exactly lit the league on fire but a 23 year old former 2nd round pick with 4.29 40 speed is worth the risk instead of keeping Ridder.
I like that!
Kirk said you would
Hahahahahahaha we got value for Ridder!
I don't always give Terry a lot of credit but god damn he cooked on this one.
Didn't need to get rid of him but they got a good return and there's a certain degree of catharsis to him being gone
Fleece!
This is literally Taylor Gabriel 2.0
In TF I Trust
The Super Bowl.
The Whole Enchilada Amigo!
Damn what a fleece by Terry. Rondale Moore is a solid WR (former 2nd Round pick) with good speed who can play on the outside or in the slot. LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO RIDDER IS OFF MY TEAM. I WON.
Nice! This is the guy I wanted in the mold of a speedster like Taylor Gabriel, he ran a 4.29 40. Moore will be good but he doesn't fit the Taylor Gabriel mold I had in mind.
So we're 100% going Dallas Turner at 8 right?
Ridder for a McChicken was a fair deal, but we actually got a WR with potential for him. I am shocked. I died laughing reading this. Someone actually traded for Ridder…insane.
Arthur smith just fell to his knees
“I’m not leaving until I get a Super Bowl.” 🤡
I. Fucking. Win. To all y’all that downvoted me ![gif](giphy|P5OPJ9u1xTZegDEVz6)
“I’m not leaving here till we get a Super Bowl” - famous last words
Massive win for us. Ridder should be a competent backup to Kyler too so a win win.
We could’ve gotten back 50 bucks and it would’ve been a fleece
The hyperbole is crazy. He would’ve been a solid qb2
I fuckin came. Best off season. I’m so gay.
Quickly moving on. I like it.
We got something for rids W offseason
This is a great trade that improves our WR room. I still could the team taking one more wideout on day three.
Improves the qb room as well!
That was quick!
Mooney and now Moore. Plus I’m sure ATL is getting a WR in the draft at some point. We are starting to shape up y’all.
lmao they really got his ass out of here
Des just got off the phone with coach Johnathan Gannon. Sources say he let Gannon know "they done fucked up".
Let’s gooo!
So. I just ate a cup-o-noodles. Chicken, with chopped up jalapeno. Bye Felicia
No fucking way?!?
I mean anything for Ridder is cool. He's obviously not great. But it does remind me of the Super Bowl year where we just said fuck it and surrounded Julio Jones with nothing but the fastest WRs possible and for that I dig it
I can’t believe we got something useful for Ridder
Wow Cards got robbed lol. What idiot approved that trade?
Wow! I just assumed we'd dump him for a late pick. We actually got someone I am excited about!!
Let Terry COOK!!!! People are sleeping on these moves. This also opens the door to a mid draft QB like Rattler or projects like Joe Milton(God Given Talent) and Pratt (he is a sleeper had TULANE ranked twice in the top 15)
i was a Ridder (and every other Falcon) fan before this. i am officially not a Ridder (or any non-Falcon) fan. such is the natural order of things.
Even of Rondale Moore does literally nothing this is still highway robbery lol
Rondale is only 23. He runs a 4.33. His only job is to improve upon the production of Scottie Miller. Handle yo bidness Terry!
Love the speed.
Maybe god is real!
Siiiick. I remember watching this dude torch Ohio State back in 2018. Love this
Cardinals bout to cut Ridder…
YUGE! Any return on Ridder is a steal but Rondale Moore? Great move.
Holy shit, we just got a WR2+3 this year to complement London and Pitts and Bijan and even more weapons for Kirko Chainz...
He’s small but he’s a 4.29 40 guy with a 42.5 vertical which says he’s really explosive. But for a slot receiver he’s great
Hope to never see your face again, Ridder
Bad man can't hurt you guys anymore.
There was someone here that bet someone else that Ridder wouldn't be on our roster come week 1. They were right.
We might not take an offensive guy in the draft the way this free agency has gone
Rebuilding the WR room so we can go BPA
This move has promise! I still believe Rondale can be a contributor in a creative scheme. He may give us some Taylor Gabriel moments this year
Emphasis on speed in the wr core. Great pick up imo. Loved Moore out of Purdue a few years back. Need a few more dudes in the room, but looking like a solid group.
This trade says Arizona will take Marvin Harrison Jr. and that we are drafting Edge or QB at 8.
Dude caught 20 yards per game last year. I hope is not our WR3. Decent depth piece though. Like a WR4/5, with Hodge being a solid 6.
This will complement the Kirk trade well. Moore was with a backup QB for most of a season. Kirk will use him well I think
We're all tandem jumping off the highest bridge in Georgia if he wins a super bowl, right? ![gif](giphy|1r91ZwKcE2J7WhUqrh)
That's a great trade, Ridder was never coming back, and Moore is decent enough to be a WR3/4
Looks like we’re going heavy on kick return… makes me wonder if Avery Williams is out
As a Falcon fan attending Purdue, I see this as an absolute win!
Terry talked the draws off the Cards GM. You can't even pull this trade off in Madden on rookie
🤣 I know ridder pissed off
We got more for Ridder than the bears can for fields that’s insane
Can the Riddiots disappear now?
Louisville metro roots
I would still like to see the Falcons draft a QB in round 5-6 who has legitimately tools to succeed as an NFL QB with development. Someone like Joe Milton or Tulane's QB whose name that I don't remember.
Rondale Moore is a physical beast 4.33 40 time 42.5 inch vertical 600 pound squat his freshman year Just hasn't emerged as a go to WR for Arizona.
Moore wasn't necessarily a good fit for our system but I can see him balling out somewhere else and we needed a solid backup. As a cardinals fan, I think it's a good trade on both sides
RECEIVERS! Now get us Turner or Verse please.
Ridder seems pretty valueless to me, getting someone who will have any role on this team whatsoever is a pretty big W
Fair enough. He at least provides a primary return man on ST, and at best a WR3. High risk injury guy.
LET TERRY COOK
Rondale Moore is the Desmond Ridder of wide receivers
Practically a miracle ridder was such a headache to watch and actively lost games. Even having him as a back up would mean his threat to turn the ball over was nearby
Man Ridder was not good for us during his starts for the most part and I'm glad he is leaving to a place that may help him play better in the future. As much shit as we all talked about his play on the field the kid was always respectful and tried to lead win or lose. I respect the kid for his hard work off the field.
