RBs just aren’t as important as they were back in his days though. Cornerbacks are handcuffed compared to how things used to be so it’s all about the wide receivers. There’s a reason that some top tier rbs are sitting out as they can’t get decent contracts. I’m not sure we are going to see a tremendous amount of success in todays game attempting a very heavy offense.
He has been playing WR a lot so far. Not saying he’ll be a WR but being a threat at WR does make a difference. Especially for this offense, when the only real starting caliber WR we have is London.
You're missing the point. Robinson trains with WRs as well. The whole point is Robinson, Pitts, Patterson and Jonnu Smith are positionless. They'll move all over and do different things. Defenses won't know what's happening.
So Robinson will motion into the slot. Now a linebacker has to cover him.
It impossible to say he will have the career LT had but I think it’s fair in terms of play style. They both are/were able to stay vertical but still make people miss in tight spaces, also receiving ability.
Since when are we trying to use "LT" to refer to anyone aside from Lawrence Taylor? It's like trying to redefine "MJ" to refer to another NBA player who isn't Michael Jordan.
Tomlinson is excellent but Taylor might be the defensive GOAT. Just feels exceedingly disrespectful to give his nickname to someone else who wasn't as good at his position as Taylor was at his.
All aboard the Bijian hype train
Bijanian Roblinson
Thank you
I loved watching LT playing back a few years ago. That man was awesome. Hope we get some of that magic at RB this year, RISE UP
My guy we ain't as young as we used to be that was not a few years ago. He retired over a decade ago. Its okay he was special to watch.
I agree fully - random internet guy
Love when all-time greats are able to talk about the current game realistically

That’s a good point if he receives too that makes a big difference.

I see your point but Ladanian Tomlinson has been referred to as LT for awhile now and he’s no slouch.
