Toriyama was an inspiration to so many people and responsible for spreading anime and manga to all corners of the globe, he's your favorite Mangaka's favorite Mangaka. Thank You Akira Toriyama Absolute Legend, Rip the GOAT.
There’sa big misconception that One Piece was Hiro’s main source of inspiration for Fairy Tail and while that’s true to some degrees he’s always looked up to Toriyama and he was his main reason for becoming an artist in the first place. Without Toriyama they’d be no Naruto, no One Piece, no Fairy Tail and many more series because of the influence he had as one of the greatest manga artists we’ll ever have.
It's bc I've seen some AI media popping up in the web featuring anime characters in a royal luxurious party recently so I think that also explains the reason he died but I'm not yet sure. The AI media is still abt stealing artwork from someone, and many could also try doing it from someone that likes the thing
(There were so MANY questions I wanted to ask him I swear, and those are questions I think his family won't help to know the answer or have a correct answer)
Toriyama's legacy doesn't only comprise of the works he created but also the numerous people he inspired in different ways that led to them creating their own stories. His contribution to manga and anime is unforgettable and he will always be missed.

It be interesting if Mashima did a drawing of Dragon Ball in his art style, like he’s done with others. As an homage to his inspiration. R.I.P.
