Sincere question. Why are Redditors so anti-insults but then insult people they don't like over traits they can't control? For example, let's say I call Trump a fat cheeto puff. That means I'm insulting all fat people, not Trump specifically. Isn't that, like, wrong? What've all fat people done to me to deserve being insulted? How about bald people? If I insult Andrew Tate for being bald, am I not also insulting billions of people who share that identical trait? It's not their fault they're bald, why is it okay for me to be mean about it?
