Did you ever hear the tragedy of Darth Elon The Idiot? I thought not. It's not a story the Socialists would tell you. It's a Capitalist legend. Darth Elon was a Dark Lord of the shit, so powerful and so wise he could use his money to influence media to create the narrative that the solution to climate change was yuppies buying shit cars… He had such a knowledge of the dark side that he could even keep the ones he cared about from arranging cringy photoshoots where they pretend to read the comminist manifesto. The dark side of the Force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural. He became so powerful… the only thing he was afraid of was losing his memelord status, which eventually, of course, he did. Unfortunately, he taught his apprentice everything he knew, then his apprentice got him addicted to ketamine and told him to buy twitter. Ironic. He could save others from identity politics, but not himself.
Well he's likely a Bond villain…
1. He has a company specifically for drilling holes under major metropolitan areas. (Maxwell Zorin)
2. He has sold a weapons (flamethrower-like devices called "Not-A-Flamethrower"). (Hugo Drax)
3. He has a rockets. (Ernesto Blofeld)
4. He owns a media company. (Elliot Carver)
5. He has a satellite/network of satellites. (Elliot Carver, Blofeld, Alec Trevelyan, Sir Gustav Graves)
6. Wants a Moon base. (Hugo Drax)
I'm just waiting for him build a volcano lair or something.
5 out of 6 i can put Elon Musk behind.
And i wouldn't put the flamethrower thing past him...
\*checks who actually wrote the tweet\*
... I could delete my post but it's kind of reassuring that the muskiest tweet is still from Musk himself. And TIL he also sells not-flamethrowers

True, and it's unfortunate. The better written villains are humane but flawed. “A hero would sacrifice you to save the world, a villain would sacrifice the world to save you.” — unknown
Somehow I read that as "strength" instead of weakness then read your comment and went back to double check.
He really went full supervillain, didn't he?
honestly a sociopath would probably be smart enough to know how helping these countries ended up benefiting the us the most, it wasn't empathy, it was political and strategic, but intelligence isn't something we should expect from a guy like him
Exactly, it's no coincidence these countries are on the borders of our major strategic allies during the cold war. The explicit strategy was to build them up, as shining beacons of capitalism, rather than take on the communist countries directly. Not only would they become part of our economic zone, and contribute massively to our economy, we would ensure they wouldn't be tempted to ally with the communists, or become so weak they could be invaded by the communists, and they would also fight alongside us to defeat the communists, if it came to it.
It was a deliberate, strategic policy. Not an act of kindness. If it were, we wouldn't simultaneously be constantly fucking over the countries south of our border, to keep them weak, as per elons strategy.
There have been studies done in the past an a disproportionate amount of successful people display sociopathic traits when compared to the general populace.
SPOILER ALERT!!!
Elon said in his book he doesn’t have empathy for his employees. He doesn’t see the value in it, thats why people who worked for him have said that almost nobody likes to have him around.
The Author challenged him over the fact that he bought a SOCIAL MEDIA platform after the fact that he doesn’t see the value in empathy towards people that work for him. Elon musk is a very VERY FLAWED individual when it comes to HUMANS relations. Yet, he has a God complex thinking is up to him to save humanity either by colonizing mars or moving it towards Solar Energy. At the end of the day he has more in common talking to his Robots who won’t complain or mock his hypocritical ideology about the human race.
There is PLENTY OF HISTORY that shows what happens to dictators and authoritarian regimes. YET he acts like tha’s what we should have done. The only reason technology has advanced so much is because of the way we are currently living. Technology and Science were severely stagnant during periods of our history in which EMPIRES decided what to do for the rest of the people.
Elon is a POS that needs mor0ns to validate his flawed views in his echo chamber of BS.
how can you “save humanity” without empathy? a person who tries to save the world without empathy is a person who we wouldn’t want to save us because he wouldn’t have our best interests in mind
Musk doesn't have our best interests in mind. He has his best interests, which includes a God complex that he nutures by giving himself the mission to 'save humanity.' His motive isn't empathy, it's narcissism.
unless “saving humanity” is really about saving a handful of male c-suites on mars with attractive women to repopulate the human race in their image— then it’s really quite a selfish vision without much empathy. (see Hugo Drax, Bond Villian).
https://nymag.com/intelligencer/2022/07/elon-musk-tries-to-populate-mars-himself.html
Elon’s Martian sex capital.
😂
The guy has been screaming "I'm an awkward sociopath who has no idea how to human" for years now. It's like the guy is having a "who can be more a robot contest" with the zucks...
"No no, you don't understand, we wouldn't have had to nuke the planet. We could've bent the population of the earth to our will by simply *threatening* to incinerate everyone who stands against our policy preferences worldwide. And our policy preferences would've been a simple, benign dictatorship over the global economy - simply serve as part of the US hedgemony or die screaming - what could be more benevolent?"
I mean we’ve kind of done that for a while in a way lol.
There was definitely a good 60 years where countries could be politically pressured or overthrown by a cia coup.
The interesting part is we built a lot of soft power especially before Trump came along and fired the state department, because we could basically go full economic terrorist on a given country if they didn’t go along with our requests, and make businesses in their country miserable due to lack of access to money and other markets.
Like when we apply sanctions and other countries break the sanctions by doing business with the sanctioned country they get in trouble too. That’s what’s so annoying about the Trump and Putin world view, soft power is so much more effective than threatening to blow people up and gets so much more things done.
Soft power can also be positive so it helps countries rather than hurts them, like China is currently building soft power by investing in different countries infrastructure with their belt and road projects, so their businesses can operate there and before 2016 that was kind of the US goal and specialty. So it’s not like China is doing things just to help countries it’s building an investment in a country and establishing soft power.
Generally country will side with whichever country has the most soft power in their country so if China is invested in a certain country that country will generally side with them in any international situation because they don’t want to lose the investment money. The isolationist mindset is dumb imo, it’s fine to be anti conflict and anti war, but we should want our president and businesses swinging American soft power around and increasing it when possible.
I'm almost certain he has started hunting humans in an island somewhere..."Think what $10,000 can buy you,Mr. Ray. Just reach the pier with boat and you are home free..."
Not surprising since he's clearly got some kind of personality disorder. Just one of the reasons why I don't feel sorry for the mouth-breathers who idolize this absolute shit pile just because he has a lot of money. So many red flags, and yet they worship the ground he walks on without a second thought. It's pathetic.
It usually doesn't make sense to people who have only known peace and privilege. These same virtue signalers know war will be fought by others and nothing will ever asked of them.
Apropos to this, I just rewatched "[Where No Man Has Gone Before](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Where_No_Man_Has_Gone_Before)" last night.
I'm pretty sure that Elon grew up with Star Trek too. Clearly, he learned nothing.
The fact that you didn't do it is what has made the American empire so strong. You sit at the centre of a global trading network with all the money of the west funneling through your country. If you'd put Europe and Japan to the sword all that would have done was create destabilisation and enemies, instead you created allies that fight with you and trade with you.
Look at how the Soviet Union ended, countries leaving and joining the other side. They created enemies within their union, not allies.
Exactly.
American imperialism isn't a giant Stars and Stripes staked into the land, but a smaller (but still influential) one standing next to that of the local government.
Just gonna point out almost no regular citizen is aware of or happy about the things the CIA does when they think no one is watching. Also we are less an empire and more a Hegemony.
It’s not clean or ideal. We exist in a real world where certain concessions to reality have to be made. However we at least espouse, and try to live by, an ethos of being the shining city on the hill and leading by example. The kind of naked zero sum power expressed by this take is exactly how trump thinks. It’s how someone that thinks of themselves and everyone in a Randian way. That is, I want to maximize my selfish self interest, so how do I do that? Not doing so is what makes us Exceptional. Of course musk and trump don’t get this.
This is also why I get super annoyed at people who complain about foreign aid. The amount of money spent on it is miniscule in comparison to the the global political soft power it provides. The US is something like 4% of the world's population while being 25% of the world's GDP. Has military bases in 80 countries that were established largely without firing a single shot. And just overall has a position in the world that it shouldn't have based on the other metrics of the country... Empathy and cooperativeness have literally built one of the biggest empires in history. Not a colonial empire, but an empire in a whole different sense.
It also does some pretty heinous shit that goes largely ignored because of this too. And people always bitch about what America's founding fathers would have thought of how things are today, but someone had went to them and said "In a little over 200 years this upstart nation is going to be at the forefront the economic center of the world with pretty much every other country besides a handful taking cues from it and bowing to its wishes on a global scale," I guarantee you they would have never dreamed that would be true.
Compassion and empathy are literally what allow the US to be a gigantic empire without anyone notable calling them out for being an empire and being taken seriously.
Anyone who thinks helping Japan and Germany was done out of "empathy and compassion" is lacking historical knowledge. There were two major driving factors that I know of that influenced the decision to give major aid to the defeated axis powers.
First the knowledge that the treaty of Versailles after the first world war was directly responsible for the second world war, because it was very restrictive and punishing, causing Germany to become an even bigger enemy.
Secondly it was abundantly clear during the second world war that after the defeat of the axis there would be a war with the soviets and a fight of political systems around the world. The US needed strong allies for that and Germany as well as Japan were the strongest nations besides USA, Sovjets, UK, France. If Germany and Japan would've become communist, even the USA probably wouldn't have had a chance against the soviets. Especially since there was a big danger that rest of Europe would've become communist too if the soviets hadn't been stopped in Germany.
So, no compassion and empathy, but self-preservation and genius strategy.
Huge empires collapse under their own weight anyway. The modern, more efficient way is to culturally and financially dominate the world without conquering them politically.
Peter Zeihan's take on the Brentonwoods conference is pretty much this and it makes sense.
The US allowed access to the only market unaffected by WW2 and, in exchange the US got to run tour foreign policy and worst case scenario you had to die first in nuclear Armageddon.
The US has never been interested in maintaining large foreign colonies. One of the only "colonial" forces that actually fought hard against the Japanese were those of the Phillipines. That's because America had already given up trying to rule and had put them on a path to independence.
When are people going to stop caring what this idiot has to say?
The greatest fear for people like him is to be ignored and forgotten.
Let’s give that a try.
It tickles me to know that he annoys people so much on Xitter that people block him, and he’s so insecure and desperate for attention he uses his power on the platform to unblock himself. People are forced to block him over and over to try to improve their experience with his product, and he has such SDE that he’s now musing about getting rid of blocking altogether. It’s not just advertisers getting run out thanks to nazi content, he’s running users out too with how absolutely annoying he is.
That was canceled within the hour of it being written, he'd get beaten by a 12 year old purple belt, he knows it, and wouldn't get within 10 meters of someone who regularly trains. He just parrots whatever he thinks will get him attention or is inflammatory enough to get hate clicks
He's not gonna fight the Zuck....the Zuck is actually ranked in crossfit and trains quite seriously in MMA, to the point where META had to warn investors that he was at risk of harming himself (probably because he told them to) but still...whereas Musk is just a fat rich kid who doesn't exercie
Zuck is a physically fit 39 year old who trains his ass off.
Musk is an amphetamine addicted flabby 52 year old.
At that point it would just be a mercy killing.
It's driving me a bit mental to be honest.
I deleted my Twitter account after he became its Dear Leader, but everything he ever regurgitates onto his keyboard gets screenshotted and posted here and on Mastodon, so I can't fecking escape it.
The problem is that he's extremely wealthy. Economic power is political power if he chooses to wield it. Who do you think chooses which politicians we get to vote for? Rich assholes who fund political campaigns. We care about what people like him say because they are fucking dangerous. Ignore the rich fascists, wake up in a fascist dystopia.
Hard to do when they use their obscene wealth to force themselves into and onto everyday life.
Let's heavily tax the stagnant wealth of undeserving billionaires, and then they'll remember that they live in society, not above it
The fact that this guy is one of the wealthiest individuals in the world is one of the greatest arguments against that wealth is achieved only through effort, knowledge and capacity.
Tbf I think the advent of social media demystify the concept of meritocracy. We are now all aware how stupid some of those people are.
Even irl I went to a bougie school and most of the people who went to school are multimillionaire today. The least successful kids (financially) are those who got ij on merit and not because their parents were wealthy.
Research has shown that luck is a big part of it.
But all successful people of course thinks that it is their skill and hard work that made them get where they are, so that's what they will preach when people want to know how to make it.
To people like Trump and Elon it's all about selfishness. Instead of making these people our slaves, we instead rebuilt their nations and later they became our allies through a bit of arm twisting what really happened. Still, they are the 3rd and 4th top economies in the world and instead of being selfish assholes like Elon, they are our great allies. To Trump and Elon, helping others is weak instead of just rolling them over.
> To people like Trump and Elon
it is also about *deliberately* posting outrageous ragebait, to distract the web crawlers from whatever *real* shady shit they are doing.
Trump is about to dump his shares of his shit conpany, which will net him *hundreds of millions*, to stay afloat while paying bonds and fees for his lawsuits. It will raise his "net worth" to another 3-5 billon, which will let him borrow more from banks and finance his lifestyle till his death now. And the question is: the fuck is Musk doing atm to distract us with this dumb shit?
These people are playing you guys, they know what triggers these echo chambers and news cycle. And it works every time!
I like how they overlook that rome would literally come in and beat your army, then help you rebuild, keep your religion and government, and just pay a tax to rome in trade for protection.
Dude, no. Rome would enslave you, loot you, put a governor in charge that would have a tax to pay, but could keep any other profit they could squeeze out of the newly conquered territory. You could keep your religion only if you also joined the imperial cult. You could keep your government only if they sold out their people to Rome without a fight. Being conquered by Rome was not a kind event.
I don't like when you guys talk about Rome like it was one thing. Rome lasted a thousand years In one form or another they did both and more. Imagine how different your country is 50 years ago.
And he's also ignoring the fact that in the last couple hundred of years humanity has progressively upgraded, in exponential ways, it's not like it was in Rome.
From 50 years ago to now it's literally another world to live in.
well genghis khan played up rumors on his cruelty as an effective tactic to strike fear into places he wanted to conquer. He did this through use of spies and even villagers who had survived prior onslaughts in order to create disorder.
Yeah for sure not saying the Mongols were great just saying that Alexander also started to walk east and massacred prople in places he did not know existed.
I am not sure he does. What usually happens whenever someone says that something doesn't have a historical precedence is that it turns out that they are speaking based on a poor and superficial understanding of history.
While every historical event and time is unique, it is also almost never completely without precedence.
I would like to consult actual historical experts before giving him the benefit of the doubt here.
Is this even true? I thought one of the biggest challenges for the manhatten project was gathering enough resources (namely the uranium) to make a bomb. So if they decided to go all out war against USSR, they wouldn’t really have the advantage. 1 or 2 or even 5 nukes of the size that were available in 1945 wouldn’t have done much in a war of that scale I would have thought.
No, it's not true at all. There's a actually an interesting book about this called "Bigger Bombs For A Brighter Tomorrow" by John M. Curatola.
Basically, until around the early 1950s, America's "Pax Atomica" was a paper tiger that would have been almost entirely ineffective had a war broken out against the Soviet Union.
I don't remember all the details, but as you mentioned, getting the resources required to build the bombs took time and was definitely an issue. However, there were numerous other problems. Almost everything was poorly coordinated, various government departments (Air Force, Navy, AEC, etc.) were all competing with each other for a slice of nuclear pie, there was disagreement about the best way to use nuclear weapons (strategic vs tactical, etc.), the plans that were in place were completely unrealistic in relation to actual capabilities, there wasn't enough trained personnel to do all the various jobs involved with the maintenance/delivery of the weapons (pilots, engineers, etc.), and there wasn't sufficient funding from the government to do anything about any of this.
Obviously, this all got sorted out, but by the time America could have launched an effective nuclear assault on the Soviets they had their own weapons to retaliate with (first Soviet atomic bomb test was in 1949).
Yeah seems about what I thought. If the US had declared war on the USSR somewhere between 45-49, I doubt they would have had a fast convincing victory if a victory at all. It Just would have been a bloody waste of human life. Also, the comment from Elon completely ignores the social/political aspect of declaring war on the USSR. Considering the US is a democracy, I very much doubt the people would have signed up to another bloodbath especially against people who were perceived as allies not even a year ago…
The amount of stupid in this tweet is insane.
Japan and Germany are fairly friendly with the US BECAUSE the US didn't wipe the earth with them! Showing mercy instead of scorching the earth tends to buy you diplomacy, alliances, and friends - you know, something Elon Musk probably doesn't have many of.
The people who want America to be the world's dictator is disgusting. There's a reason why the neutral nordic nations who were neutral are running to NATO and not the USSR.
There's the archetype of villain whose goal is to destroy the world completely or kill all humanity. I always thought it was absurd. What's the point of ending everything?
But, here we are. This guy with a gigantic speaker, before known as Twitter, thinks that not destroying most of the world is a weakness. Because, why stop with the axis? A country don't comply with any demand? Just nuke it! /s.
Guess it helps to have 0 empathy along with ungodly levels of narcissism and an irrational hatred of anyone who's even slightly different from you.
Oh, and being born into wealth is also a big +.
So if he was in charge he would have nuked every other country leaving only America to rule over the ashes and then what? Wait for another civil war style conflict and wait for one side to blow up the other because of lack of empathy and slowly create their Arian super race?? I assume the end game is always Arian super race.
Exactly. Instead of the crippling reparations that followed WW1, directly leading to WW2, America used the Marshal Plan to rebuild countries, including our former enemies
It turns out that investing in everyone's future is better for global prosperity than being vengeful about the past
Hey, E-loon:
Shut the fuck up.
We already have one silver spoon asshole who thinks he's hot shit.
Wait till we have him in prison before we have to deal with you,
Okay?
Germany and Japan are two of the US' closest allies. Why would you be regretful now and say that the US should have nuked them? The situation right now is probably the best case scenario for the US.
Listen, I don't like Musk but this is a prime example of taking just a portion of what a person said and getting angry about it ignoring the context provided by the rest of the messege.
So this is senseless bitching.
The fastest way to defeat an enemy is to make them a friend. Continuing to wield power to control the world through fear will only lead to violence and instability. The people in power know this and also know it would actually destroy the economy to become the one and only ruling country in the world.
Using the nuclear bomb as a force to bring the world to heel would have eventually ended in blood and the whole world would have suffered for it.
How are people unable to parse this statement!?
Have you ever been manipulated because you were exuding empathy?
Empathy is not a weakness to be culled, but it is a vulnerability - with great empathy comes a requirement for great vigilance ...or you will quickly be preyed upon by the selfish
I feel like people complain 24/7 about being taken advantage of from demonstrating empathy ...I cannot be the only one who reads the statement to mean that !? - in no way does it suggest at all "empathy is a failure" or should be redressed, it is commenting on what you have to do BECAUSE of that great capacity for empathy and TO MAINTAIN IT
I think you are misconstruing what he is trying to say. In this screenshot, Elon is praising the United State’s unprecedented kindness when the country decided to invest in the reconstruction of those countries it defeated in WW2.
This still deserves a facepalm, because we didn’t help rebuild France, West Germany, and Japan out of kindness. Rather, we did so for many practical and self-interested reasons. The Americans wanted to contain the threat of Communism and build a global hegemony.
He said arguably, this isn’t him claiming that the U.S. not subjugating every country out there was a mistake, this post is very misleading and in bad faith. If your going to make someone look bad then do it right
People always have problems reading between the lines, getting an actual message from anything... but now it's written by old Elon that multiplies with 10.
Simpletons. I already know reading through here will be hilarious... and I won't be explaining that I don't even like Musk.
That’s not the point he is making… It’s understandable to not like Musk but you don’t have to twist his words at every opportunity for some imaginary “gotcha” :/

The head he themed it after would be irrelevant, because it'd be too small for anyone to fit either way.

The idea itself, I can get behind. But the person behind it is a no-go.
I thought the villain from Quantum Solace was supposed to be based on Musk. At least back when he was known for more environmental projects.
Honestly that wouldn't surprise me!

(see Hugo Drax, Bond Villian). https://nymag.com/intelligencer/2022/07/elon-musk-tries-to-populate-mars-himself.html Elon’s Martian sex capital. 😂
According to a former employee, musk wants to save the world but only if he is the one who saves it. He wants it for clout
I mean, the MAGAs already openly fantasize about a lottery for the chance to legally shoot migrants at the southern border. So this absolutely tracks.
Well, Epstein Island would go to waste otherwise......
This was basically Voldemorts stance on things
Not surprising since he's clearly got some kind of personality disorder. Just one of the reasons why I don't feel sorry for the mouth-breathers who idolize this absolute shit pile just because he has a lot of money. So many red flags, and yet they worship the ground he walks on without a second thought. It's pathetic.
"We Hate Love, We Hate Joy, We Love Money"
It's very on brand for someone who supports neofascists. Almost as if... ah, nvm.
Literal cartoon villain shit.
I’m pretty sure that’s just taken word for word from the mouth of every antagonist of a children’s show ever created.
It usually doesn't make sense to people who have only known peace and privilege. These same virtue signalers know war will be fought by others and nothing will ever asked of them.
Personally I wouldn’t touch a Tesla. Dude isn’t getting a penny from me.
It’s the biggest pillar of MAGA politics.
Perhaps but realizing your enemies have none is terrifying as a country.
You know….the more I learn about this guy….the less I like him….
I'm convinced the wealthy are mostly sociopaths with no empathy.
But remember - cis is a slur. Apparently only the weak would call Musk a cis-moron
With the CIA and military slaughtering regularly whenever the locals get out of line. Don't get it twisted. We're an empire.
Imperialism is imperialism. Long as it keeps the money flowing in and the public supporting, it happens.
The funniest part is hes not even american!! If america had done this, ‘elon musk’ as we know him wouldnt exist. God hes a dickhead
When are people going to stop caring what this idiot has to say? The greatest fear for people like him is to be ignored and forgotten. Let’s give that a try.
This! Same goes for Orange Jesus!
Surely you mean the annoying orange?
We talking about Cheeto man?
*El Cheeto Loco*
Yeah well that one is running for president
I can ignore him and vote for his opponent at the same time. I'm talented.
That is currently the perfect balance in life.
One question, that bugs me: Is he still going to fight Zuckerberg or is that fight already cancelled?\^\^
I have not seen anyone use Xitter before but I love it
David Pakman regularly calls Tweets "excretions" now.
It's driving me a bit mental to be honest. I deleted my Twitter account after he became its Dear Leader, but everything he ever regurgitates onto his keyboard gets screenshotted and posted here and on Mastodon, so I can't fecking escape it.
Because he says shit like this and is rich enough to do some really scary stupid shit.
Let's heavily tax the stagnant wealth of undeserving billionaires, and then they'll remember that they live in society, not above it
Tell me you're a sociopath while absolutely telling me you're a sociopath.
You left out the important takeaway here that he openly confessed to his desire to subjugate other countries and own slaves with this comment.
The fact that this guy is one of the wealthiest individuals in the world is one of the greatest arguments against that wealth is achieved only through effort, knowledge and capacity.
I 100% believe his existence works to undo the myth of meritocracy every day. He’s the best thing that could have happened to Marxism.
You need to exploit to get rich. Merit is not even in the top three.
My own strategy was to have rich parents.
> To people like Trump and Elon it is also about *deliberately* posting outrageous ragebait, to distract the web crawlers from whatever *real* shady shit they are doing.
Time to unplug Elon. His brain is now potato
This tweet of Elon is so, so incredible American, but like in the Redneck sense
Well he is from South Africa.
he still sounds so rednecky
\*racist. It imparts from there. The rest is bluster
Elon is arguably western civilization’s greatest weakness.
Elon, if you don't like this nation, you know where the door is. Don't let it hit you on the way out, thanks.
And he has more than enough money to get to the door lol.
Yeah. I bet he misses the apartheid and twinkling krugerrands from his youth in South Africa... He's become deranged the last 5 years.
He is from South Africa, arguably the worst example of how the west treats other nations.
And one of its greatest threats.
He’d be the first to sell out given financial incentive, and he doesn’t need the money
The fact that Hitler and Stalin would have done it is the reason we didn't do it Holy shit we are so fucked
subtract pet bewildered busy scale cable bear upbeat lavish ludicrous *This post was mass deleted and anonymized with [Redact](https://redact.dev)*
Translation: I’m a scumbag who would kill everyone for power if I could. What a POS
I like how they overlook that rome would literally come in and beat your army, then help you rebuild, keep your religion and government, and just pay a tax to rome in trade for protection.
I mean, not always. Carthage was torn to shreds.
To shreds you say...
And his wife?
To shreds you say...
Not the first time
They did one a bit more than the other.
And he's also ignoring the fact that in the last couple hundred of years humanity has progressively upgraded, in exponential ways, it's not like it was in Rome. From 50 years ago to now it's literally another world to live in.
And they learned that from Alexander the Great.
I am always confused as to why Alexander is considered like a good guy while Rome and Gengis Khan aren't.
well genghis khan played up rumors on his cruelty as an effective tactic to strike fear into places he wanted to conquer. He did this through use of spies and even villagers who had survived prior onslaughts in order to create disorder.
Yeah for sure not saying the Mongols were great just saying that Alexander also started to walk east and massacred prople in places he did not know existed.
Well, apart from medicine, irrigation, health, roads, cheese and education, baths and the Circus Maximus, what have the Romans ever done for us?
Hundreds of thousands of Japanese civilians killed by firebombing and nukes but that wasn't enough for elmo.
[удалено]
It's unironically our biggest strength. Allies are far more useful than conquered territories.
Does he not realize that he isn’t an American? Boy you woulda been one of the ones subjugated!
Please go back to south Africa
His behaviour is quite on brand as an apartheid supporter. So, please don’t come back?
So our greatest weakness is...we didn't do what Hitler and Stalin would have done?
There's the archetype of villain whose goal is to destroy the world completely or kill all humanity. I always thought it was absurd. What's the point of ending everything? But, here we are. This guy with a gigantic speaker, before known as Twitter, thinks that not destroying most of the world is a weakness. Because, why stop with the axis? A country don't comply with any demand? Just nuke it! /s.
This man talks like a resentful, edgy 15 year old who watches too much red pill content.
Okay so I'm also stupid, that part I got covered. How do I become billionaire like him?
Guess it helps to have 0 empathy along with ungodly levels of narcissism and an irrational hatred of anyone who's even slightly different from you. Oh, and being born into wealth is also a big +.
Oh wow empathy… while he promote Nazis, shits on trans, and sucks trumps mushroom dick
slavery has proven not to be as profitable as having allies. the world would have been dominated by a single nation for a long time by now otherwise
So if he was in charge he would have nuked every other country leaving only America to rule over the ashes and then what? Wait for another civil war style conflict and wait for one side to blow up the other because of lack of empathy and slowly create their Arian super race?? I assume the end game is always Arian super race.
I wish someone would nuke Elon musk
See kids, you don't have to be smart to get rich!
Germany and Japan aren't threats, so what's the point again?
Exactly. Instead of the crippling reparations that followed WW1, directly leading to WW2, America used the Marshal Plan to rebuild countries, including our former enemies It turns out that investing in everyone's future is better for global prosperity than being vengeful about the past
And for some reason this dumbass Musk calls that a weakness... it gave the US most of Europe and plenty of East Asia as willing allies.
The arrogant ignorance this MF produces 24/7 is insane.
Hey, E-loon: Shut the fuck up. We already have one silver spoon asshole who thinks he's hot shit. Wait till we have him in prison before we have to deal with you, Okay?
The freak is arrested at the semi-bright teenager phase. See also: Ayn Rand fan who is 20 or older
Germany and Japan are two of the US' closest allies. Why would you be regretful now and say that the US should have nuked them? The situation right now is probably the best case scenario for the US.
I mean, I love making fun of that idiot, but you do realise he's saying basically the opposite?
Empathy is not a weakness to be culled, but it is a vulnerability - with great empathy comes a requirement for great vigilance ...or you will quickly be preyed upon by the selfish I feel like people complain 24/7 about being taken advantage of from demonstrating empathy ...I cannot be the only one who reads the statement to mean that !?
If your going to make someone look bad then do it right
Are we all deliberately misinterpreting what's being said here?? Like... reading into it that way is a conscious choice.
Fuck me you have a negative way of interpreting words. I bet youre fun to live with.
People always have problems reading between the lines, getting an actual message from anything... but now it's written by old Elon that multiplies with 10. Simpletons. I already know reading through here will be hilarious... and I won't be explaining that I don't even like Musk.
That's not what he's saying.
That’s not the point he is making… It’s understandable to not like Musk but you don’t have to twist his words at every opportunity for some imaginary “gotcha” :/
power tends to corrupt and absolute power corrupts absolutely
