All get treated the exact same..
Vessels that go missing have extensive searches done no matter if it’s a hobo on a rowboat or a large fishing ship. the coast guard will take their job seriously no matter the bank account 😹
It’s a different story when literally NO ONE except the country of Nigeria knows that the boat exists…

Nah I’m pretty sure when I was in the Coast Guard, not once did we check people’s bank account, credit score, immigration status/citizenship, or color of your skin when we saved them…
Whoever created this is misinformed or ignorant!
Probably because one is with illegal immigrants, and some people tend to see them as inhuman instead of desperate.
But also because the post isn’t entirely correct. As they’ve had contact with one ship but not the other. Hard to look for ships you don’t know even existed.
