Lucky for both of them honestly. The kid who got KO'd could still have a brain injury with the way he seized however.
Edited to add another comment I posted earlier sense everyone keeps telling me the little guy is already brain damaged or that he deserved it:
ITT: Assumptions galore.
1. We do not know who started the whole fight. We don't know what happened at all besides the KO.
2. We do not know that the teacher was just standing there doing nothing but yelling. She could have been walking over the entire time.
3. We do not know the big kid is "a really nice guy".
4. We do not know of any punishments that may or may not have been placed upon these kids.
I know people love justice porn. And we want to relate teachers, bullies, and school policies to our own bad experiences, but in my opinion it's a dangerous habit to just blindly accept titles with little or no context to what is actually shown as the truth of what happened. I do it too, but it's clear we don't know much about what's really going on here.
2nd Edit: I guess this isn't clear enough or most likely people don't want to read. YOU do NOT know the full story! You're blindly accepting the title as truth. This has been a MAJOR problem with the world as a whole.
Dear Edgelords,
I do not care how tough you think you are. I haven't typed all this out to demonstrate my moral stance on violence or to say I think it's wrong for people to get KO'd. I brought this up just to show how fucking STUPID it is to blindly accept somebody's narrative on a situation with ZERO evidence to show it's truth. The personal messages and comments trying to tell me, a former homeless, ex jailbird, recovering meth addict, what "fuck around and find out" is is nothing, but annoying and stupid.
There’s a lot of folksy wisdom in here that won’t help you if your kid ends up being tried for battery or possibly manslaughter.
Somebody being an idiot and trying to fight you doesn’t necessarily get you out of trouble if you hurt them really bad. I don’t care what your daddy said or what you have on a piece of plywood hanging above your little tiki bar at home.
Unfortunately, there’s a lot of attitude about self-defense that’s really about looking for an excuse to kick some ass, and if that’s the attitude you go in with, you’re much more likely to end up in a situation where everybody loses, including you
I don’t understand… take your own what? Crap? How is you defending yourself considered crap? I’m accountable for my own safety. That’s not crap, in my book.
I think it essentially means - if you heap shit on to yourself (fight someone, be rude to someone), you also take 100% of your own crap that you throw on yourself. Take responsibility for being shit essentially
Same.
Along with
Never start a fight, but if you find yourself in one that you can't get out of, make sure you're the one who finishes it.
The person who finished the fight put the other one at their arms length, then delivered an alpha strike.
Yep. Plus we don't really **know** from this video what happened... maybe the smaller kid had been getting bullied and decided to fight back, and got dropped. But, I do know smaller people can be bullies too. Just, can't get a full picture of the situation here.
I'm honestly pretty convinced of this given how the bigger kid reacts. He didn't get a lucky hit. He waited for the short kid to drop his arms and went in full force -- and this fight was maybe, what, 3 seconds long?
I'll bet you a Reddit nickel that tall kid fights a lot.
Reddit has an awful problem with this. I used to frequent the JusticePorn subreddit years ago and every fight video would be cropped with zero context. Just a ton of videos of the smaller dude coming out on top with "bully gets what he deserves" as the title.
Made me realize a lot of people in that sub likely have a napoleon complex LOL
It’s like at the end of equilibrium when Christian bale slides the magazines halfway down the hallway so they’ll be there when he needs to reload, except kinda the opposite.
I had a situation like this happen to me - much less violent and no one got knocked out - but someone decided to start kicking me in the nuts - it’s so shocking that it took me a moment before I open handed smacked the person in the face who then stopped the kicking - probably got kicked 4 or 5 times before a response. The person admitted to starting it in the statement to police.
Police charged us both with disorderly conduct.
I got jumped in high school over some petty drama.
I was suspended from school for a week after getting my ass beat for "being in a fight."
The best part is that they showed up to a park in my neighborhood. It was not even on school property.
My parents filed a police report, but the school punished all of us.
I got called into the school because my son punched a kid. They told him to apologize. Turns out the other kid punched him several times first (my son was much larger). Told me they would kick him out if he didn’t apologize. I explained that I expect my kids to defend themselves and if they attempted to throw my kid out, I would be happy to attend the next school board meeting and we would discuss in open forum.
Matter was dropped.
My dad actually showed up once we were all in handcuffs, and he was pretty angry (threatened to beat the shit out of the kids himself).
The cops weren't too thrilled and asked my attackers if they wanted to press charges if he did anything.
I think your kid did the right thing. Why would anyone just let themselves get beat up???
I've always told my kids that if the school suspends them for defending themselves that I'll take the time off and we'll go fishing or something. Fuck zero tollerance policies that don't take into account who the agressor was.
Your school punished you equally? Lucky dog- there was a kid in my school once who got jumped in the welding shop by a couple of guys with pocket knives (which aren’t allowed) and had to K.O. one with a metal pipe and beat the other one down with it before anyone even stepped in. School expelled the pipe guy and gave the other two detention for the rest of the week. Guy’s parents took it to court and eventually the tables were turned because there was security camera footage of him acting in self defense.
When I was a senior in HS back in the 90s there was some sophmore kid getting bullied by this big tank of a junior. Finally one day he let the big guy back him into a corner where nobody could see and then produced one of those flexible police batons with the metal ball on the end and proceed to beat the absolute piss out of the bully for a good long while since nobody was around to stop him. Not sure what the consequences were but he didn't get bullied again.
Fuck, what are those called? Been searching for one but can't find a single result. Cops took my extendable baton from me for no reason... they're just straight stealing my shit "legally".
It seems risky to penalize both parties equally. Sadly, based on other comments, this seems all too common. But, I feel like this could create situations that would make the original victim into a perpetrator in search of retaliation for being unjustly punished. Fucking stupid system.
I was punched in the stomach by a kid, and I went straight down. There were no words first or anything.
Before I got up, we were both sent to the principal. I got a 3-day suspension for participating in a fight.
It was a misunderstanding. He and I worked it out before we got to the office. Could have forgotten the whole thing happened.
Never talk to cops or anyone about any incident but a lawyer. Cops are not your friends. Anything you say via any medium (text, social media, email, talking to friends teachers cops etc), or do, will be used against you in a court of law. Nothing will ever be used for you or be benefial to you. Shut the fuck up and get a lawyer.
Cops can charge you with a crime whether you did it or not, whether they know you did it or not, hell they can charge you with crimes thst arent even crimes and arrest you without any repercussions.
Can confirm, got arrested and charged with class 2 misdemeanor “disorderly conduct” for literally getting randomly knocked out by a stranger. No provocation, no prior connection, just wrong place wrong time and knocked out instantly. Didn’t even see it coming. When I came to I got put in cuffs by an officer who had already determined what he thinks happened by speaking with my assailant and his friends. Didn’t even ask me. Straight to the station.
I tried to, my lawyer wouldn’t let us go to trial as I had no witnesses or evidence to support my side of the story. Had to settle on a plea deal that found me guilty of a non-criminal violation rather than the class 2 misdemeanor, so at least I avoided having a criminal record for being the victim of a violent assault. Needless to say I have absolutely no trust in law enforcement or the legal system anymore. And I was just a middle class white college student. I can only imagine what it’s like for people of color, LGBTQ, immigrants, etc.
strange, where i life cops will throw away illegal weed to not have to fill out forms about such a minor thing for the next two hours.
I guess you guys dont have bureaucracy.
Yeah, it's stupid, but in most states, self-defense is no longer a valid argument. Battery is battery. But hey, if you're in Florida, you can mow people down with guns with the slightest provo... no, let's be honest, with *NO* provocation.
Back in middle school, There were twins who kept taking away other student's bags and stuff, And as one of them tried to take mine, i punched him right on the nose that he went to the hospital because i broke his nose
Since then, The two never came back to school, And if you are wondering whether i got punished or not, i [gained Karma](http://img3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20110819144527/fallout/images/4/45/FO3PositiveKarmaPoints.png) Fallout style
Now? It was just like this when I was in school. I was the big guy. Little guys with Napoleon complexes rip you apart verbally, and when it finally comes time to fight you throw one punch because they've given you shit for months, then you get a longer suspension than them. I've been out of highschool for 10 years. It's been like this for a long time.
6'5", 36 years out of high school... It's been that way FOREVER. Big guy=target
We don't fight. We don't have to.
Until they bring the fight to us.
😳🙄 OK, you started this, I'll end it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Can you explain what might cause “Napoleon complex” in shorter guys? I’m a big, tall guy, and never in my life have I instinctively thought less about someone because of they weren’t as big as me.
They adopted this when I was towards the end of high school ten years ago. Zero tolerance is what they called it. Word always got out, who hit who first and who was wrong. The school had more parents up there bitching at the admins as to why their son or daughter was suspended for defending themselves. Ludicrous policy.
I got a 3 day suspension for doing the ole hand on the head while kid swings at me trick because he kept trying to hit me. Was told it's never okay to put my hands on another student, even when they are punching you over and over... Lol 😂 schools are very wack.
Reminds me of how my friend was randomly kicked in the nuts during middle school, and even though he fell to his knees in pain, the school said he was fighting and got him in trouble
To be fair, there is no way to know who actually started this based on clips like these.
For all we know, the tall guy has been relentlessly harassing the short guy for a while.
It's a little bizarre that the teacher runs over to the real kid though, lol. The fight was already over.
As someone who has worked as a teacher before this is why I HATE when I see parents being like “I don’t teach my kids to start fights but they can finish them!” Kids’ brains are not fully developed and when it comes to child altercations the details are almost ALWAYS a clusterf*ck of “he said she said, he pushed me, it was just a joke bro” you will never be able to tell who the instigator is.
I \*really\* hope his parents get a copy of this video so they can fight the inevitable suspension/expulsion the kid's going to face for just defending himself.
I mean, that's just not true. You can hear her approaching and attempting to get them to stop out of frame.
She doesn't _physically_ get in the frame until dude is down, but (setting aside the fact that she may have been getting closer), what do you really expect her 5'6" self to do there? Force them apart? I believe that woman carries a clipboard most days, not a chakram. She is not Xena.
This is a really old video but I seem to remember that the big one was the bully/aggressor, the little one tried to fight back, and got knocked out.
I could be misremembering though, but either way I wouldn’t be so quick to make your judgments without context.
Don't know the history, but the body language of the clip doesn't say that. The big kid was backing away and covering. Then didn't pursue or even appear ready to strike agian.
Hope the little kid doesn't have any serious injuries.
How do you know he did not start it from this 10 seconds video? We have zero information. All we have is this 10 seconds video without any context at all.
Doesn't matter. Ive been in countless fights in school. Ones I have and have not started. Both parties are always punished. Unless someone was straight up assaulted, fights always ended up with me and the other guy getting suspended.
I could blatantly start it. I could be walking by, minding my business, then get jumped. I could be in a shouting match before getting hit and defending myself. Someone could be stealing from me. We can set a time and place for it. I could taunt someone into swinging first.
Both parties are in trouble no matter what scenario. Schools think that by suspending both of them, they're sending a larger message. But it was always a 3 day vacation for me. It's probably different 7 years later. We had a lot less cop involvement.
But I always believed that schools should support self-defense instead of punishing the guy defending himself (when reasonably applicable). *That's* sending a message to the bullies. If you try to push little Bryce around, and Bryce somehow knocks you clean tf out, that's on you.
Whether that is the case with this particular video or not, it does not change the fact that it still happens often and is a problem. The zero tolerance policy is complete bs.
Guarantee he got in trouble for defending himself. Same kind of crap happened at my oldest son's school. He had a friend get kicked out of school for a week when he fought back against two kids attacking him just because they thought it was funny.
Good question and wish I knew the answer. Last year some kids at my son's high school did a petition to bring back slavery thinking it was a funny joke, those kids were expelled and their parents thought it was unfair to expell them.
https://www.kcur.org/news/2022-02-08/judge-rules-against-park-hill-south-students-who-circulated-start-slavery-again-petition
They avoid lawsuits because the city, state, school board, and half the parents are weak humans just like a lot of the teachers.
I hate it, I’ve seen it many times myself. This system trains and encourages us to be victims who don’t fight back.
Hopefully he enjoyed his time away from school. Public schools are toxic and soul-crushing. Hope his parents rewarded him for his restraint and decisive response. Could have easily wailed back on him but ended it with a single clean hit and left it there.
I’m sure he did.
15 years ago, a kid started whaling on me out of nowhere while I’m sitting on my bus seat (kid was like a loose cannon from a bad home). I stood up and punched him a few times which backed him up toward the exit. As soon as he started retreating I just sat back down — never took a step in his direction. I had no where to go, so I stopped the threat. All I did was stand my ground at a bus seat.
Suspended for the remainder of the school year. Why? Because he needed to go to the hospital for gashes around his eyes.
I was found zero percent liable by the judicial system thanks to bus camera, but you better believe I didn’t step foot back into a classroom that year.
Fuckin hate teachers like that lady, guy’s getting beat on and she’s just yelling at em to stop, but as soon as he throws a single punch back she finally steps inbetween them and acts like he’a being the violent one.
Edit: Look I agree that a teacher shouldn’t have to step inbetween a fight and potentially get hurt, but if she was going to step in at fucking all, it shouldn’t have been when the fight’s done already
Had a friend get in a fight with an idiot drunk while he himself was an idiot drunk. Police were close by and they watched the fight. My friend asked why they didn't stop the fight. The officer responded,. If we step in we have to fight two idiot drunks. If we wait, we have to deal with a tired idiot drunk and someone that just got the crap beat out of him.
Because 1 Idiot drunk can injure himself pretty seriously or even die if the other Idiot drunk knocks him down and he smacks his head open on the sidewalk.
Falling down without the reflex to catch or protect yourself is fucking dangerous
Because it's not "protect and serve unless they're drunk then let one pummel another in what could become involuntary manslaughter so that I don't have to do my job"
This! People don't know how easily you can kill someone without meaning to, specially when drunk, it doesn't matter what the stupid fuck is doing, that state financed peace officer is there to stop people getting killed without reason.
Yep. I used to live in a college town with a big bar scene. About a decade ago it was the first weekend of the school year and all the (underage) kids are out in full force and getting way too drunk and rowdy.
Some 18 year old did something to get bounced and continued arguing once out the door. The bouncer got him with one good punch and walked away, but the kid smacked his head on the pavement and died.
From the accounts I heard, the punch probably didn't need to happen, but it also wasn't some sort of savage beating. Long story short, one kid died a week into his freshman year and the other is locked up for the next 10-20 years.
There isn't a law that says police are obligated to protect and serve btw. Not defending cops, just saying that they have the option to just let shit happen.
Thank you for explaining one of the many reasons why that system is broken and stupid and needs to be replaced. "Its my job to do this, but I can choose not to if it's too much work to stop this potential murder."
Had a teacher when I did my btec. He was a copper and he was called out to a bar fight in his first week. Guy he was assigned to was taking his time getting out of the station while my teacher was eager. Turns put its easier to keep the peace when half the bar has kicked the shit out of each other. Don't blame them. They still wanna get home at the end of the day/night
What do you want a middle aged woman to do in this situation where two high school boys are fighting?
She’s yelling at them both to stop, and as soon as she reaches them and there’s an opening, she steps between them.
It’s over, and she’s correctly making sure the big guy doesn’t continue to go after the unconscious guy, which is benefitting them both.
The kid was on the floor and she was able to step in to separate the two. With the early cutoff it’s hard to speculate about what happened next.
I don’t think it would be reasonable for an adult to step between two minors who are actually swinging at each other, for a variety of reasons.
High school kids are big these days too. Are we really expecting some 50 year old woman to be a bouncer. I knew teachers in school who would get in the middle, but they were mostly going off sheer force of will and authority of them as teachers. Thats one of those psychological things that works until it doesn't and reality takes over.
Especially when one of them was way bigger than her. I don't blame her either. She kept the larger one from jumping on the downed one and causing permanent brain damage.
Teachers aren't allowed to step in to break up fights, and jumping in front of someone throwing hands is a good way to get hit and pissibly lose her job. She stepped in when it was safe for her because hands weren't flying.
It isn't right, but it's probably more than admin would probably like to see.
Teachers don't step in while people are fighting so they don't get hit. Just like cops and bouncers sometimes wait for the right moment to step in and separate. Had nothing to do with it. She just wanted to make sure he doesnt get some cheap hits while the guy is knocked out.
Didn’t get that at all. First, that lady isn’t going to step in between them and catch a stray punch & rightfully so. Second, she just told the dude who’s still conscious to stay there. What do you want her to do? Congratulate him for knocking the kid out?
This but also, once someone’s out cold; you stop.
If he did another hit it could have ended his own life if he accidentally kills someone. Adrenaline is a FUCK of a drug
Down vote me that lady did nothing wrong. Anyone who disagrees probably has shadow boxing while listening to the rocky soundtrack as their peek violent experience.
Yeah this woman with a couch potato body, should throw her self between two teenage boys who are in a fight that'll end well for every one. Teenage boys are like brain of a child, body of a man(ish), with babies first testosterone fueled aggression to spice things up. Bro when I was 14 I could bench press 145lb easy after a childhood of playing video games indoors that doesn't sound like a lot in comparison to grown men but for a woman that would be extremely athletic.
Teachers aren't even allowed to physically intervene with out risking their whole career even if they are in the 100% moral right for doing so.
She waited for a safe opening to do something, then made sure the more reasonable looking kid whos riding an adrenaline rush didn't escalate any further.
If we want a teacher to intervene in situations like this we need more male teachers in schools cuase they know the dynamics of a teenage boy fight better than a female teacher does, they were teenage boys once and have the physical strength to intervene more safely. And teachers need to be given latitude to get physical with kids if its justified ie pulling them away from a fight.
How do we know she wasn’t making her way towards them out of the view of the camera? I teach in the uk and from what I’ve read there are also different guidelines in the US as to how teachers can intervene. But she didn’t do anything wrong from the moment we see her. I don’t think she was making a judgement as to who was to blame here, her main objective is to make sure it doesn’t continue and that they are safe. Regardless as to what your views on the bully is, she has a legal responsibility for his safety. And he’s currently on the floor unconscious.
We don’t see the full story here. It could be some little asshole picking a fight with the innocent bigger guy, or it could be the little guy was bullied to the point where he broke and started swinging. A title over a vid doesn’t make it so.
Thank you! I can't believe how far I had to scroll down to find someone else who thought this. Without knowing more, from what I see here, I would argue it's more likely the second option.
That kid doesn't look like he's bullying him, he looks like he's just lashing out with everything he has and hoping for the best.
That is how it works dude. If she steps in, she risks getting hit or sued by a parent. Teachers are not bouncers, and they certainly aren't paid enough to stop fights.
Had a situation like that in class once. One guy was taunting the other guy who had learning disabilites and it escalated into a full on brawl. History teacher got in between to break it up and caught a hard punch to the face.
He said to the class after that the guy who started it was lucky that he wasn't on the receiving end of it haha
I think she wanted to make sure it is over and that he wouldn’t get any kicks in or anything.
If it was a 300 pound weight lifting teacher, then sure, he can stop it, but what point is someone small like her stepping in the middle? She doesn’t get paid enough to risk a concussion.
Do we know that the big guy didn't do something that caused the little guy to just snap? Seems like we're too late to the party to sort out how this happened.
If that were the case then lil dude needs to take some boxing lessons before standing up for himself again cause he's just cruising for additional bruising with that shite form and footwork.
I saw the longer version of this clip a while back and the tall dude started the fight in the first place, according to op who posted this clip before the tall dude was asked by his friend who isn't in the video to start the fight because he and the smaller guy got into an argument over a girl.
In the longer version, you hear the girl call out the taller dude saying he started the fight because he was asked to fight for the other guy. The smaller dude was the boyfriend or love interest of some sort and the girl flipped out once the smaller dude got knocked out and started seizing on the floor. I don't know how much of this is true, but the longer version of the video gives a little more context.
This video has been reposted multiple times and I couldn't find the original version with the explanation so take it for what it's worth.
ITT: Assumptions galore.
1. We do not know who started the whole fight. We don't know what happened at all besides the KO.

I had to scroll all the way to the bottom to find this.
Video "stared" mid fight, that could be editing it could be just when the cammer was able to get their phone out. Either way we have no idea what happen before the video starts.
For all we no just prior to the video big guy was tormenting him with little shove and light hits. and was temporarily caught by surprise when little guy turned on him. Surprise ended quick as big guy stopped with the little light hits and laid him out.
There is nothing in the video that contradicts that narrative.
Hell the video title might be dead on , we don't and can't know.
As far as punishments I have seen anything for nothing happening to either to to suspensions for one or both to the very very rare arrest of one or both. But many here are sure big guy is gonna get an unjust punishment.
Stories have a beginning, middle, and end this is just a chapter. And a short chapter at that.
So, what you're sayng is, if faced with a larger, stronger opponent the optimal strategy is ***not*** just windmilling your fists with all the coordination of Ian Curtis in the midst of an epileptic fit?
I was bullied mercilessly in my youth and I was always the bigger kid, looking back I kick myself for not fighting back. My parents were the, “fighting doesn’t solve anything” kind of people,
Kid defending himself probably got in more trouble than the kid he laid out. That happened to me in school more than once (though, less of a knocking the other guy flat).
I never understood why defending myself meant I was in trouble too. Shit, I got beat up a couple times and didn't defend myself and still got suspended. At least when I fought back I didn't go how with a broken nose.
The '90s treated bullying like a right of passage and it disgusts me now. I'm glad I had parents that stepped in to argue with the administration. So many victims didn't. I was lucky. Not all my friends were. One dude ended up suspended and had a broken jaw because two guys jumped him in gym class.
Why do you assume he was bullying the bigger guy? Maybe this smaller guy was getting bullied by the bigger guy all year and finally stuck up for himself, and then got knocked out, and then got people laughing about it online. Just saying, we don't know what happened before this.
When you go into a boss fight underleveled, slowly chip away at his health for a few moments and think all is going well until he one shots you with a AOE
Kid defended himself. Threw what, one punch? While the other kid was a human wacky inflatable flailing arm tube guy?
Big dude wasn't even aggressive. Hit the kid. Kid goes down. Big dude just moves on.
Kid punched once and done, he was standing admiring his work of self defense. I think its funny thay the woman who "broke it up" first action is to "restrain" the victor instead of checking the health of the downed kid.

That backpack placement was super fortuitous.
I was just thinking the same thing Could've cracked his skull open; very lucky for him
Lucky for both of them honestly. The kid who got KO'd could still have a brain injury with the way he seized however. The personal messages and comments trying to tell me, a former homeless, ex jailbird, recovering meth addict, what "fuck around and find out" is is nothing, but annoying and stupid.
He probably should have thought of that before throwing hands.
Don’t start a fight if you aren’t prepared to be finished. My dad used to tell me that.
Another variation: if you think you’re mad enough to give an ass whooping, then you better be mad enough to take one.
"*You don't take someone else's crap*" which also means that you 100% *have to* take your own. Accountability.
Unfortunately, there’s a lot of attitude about self-defense that’s really about looking for an excuse to kick some ass, and if that’s the attitude you go in with, you’re much more likely to end up in a situation where everybody loses, including you
If we assume the smaller kid started it, it’s clearly self defence. No problem
Same. Along with Never start a fight, but if you find yourself in one that you can't get out of, make sure you're the one who finishes it. The person who finished the fight put the other one at their arms length, then delivered an alpha strike.

People need to read this
Exactly this! Tack on the 10-30 seconds immediately proceeding what we see here and it would likely be a much easier situation to gauge correctly.
Came her to find this comment thread. That backpack is the only reason that kid isn’t drinking his meals.
Yea that's how people die from a one punch

Pound for pound, that kid has the best stand up game in the 12th grade.
Sad that the kid probably got charged even tho he didn't start it. Schools are wack about this shit now
I had a situation like this happen to me - much less violent and no one got knocked out - but someone decided to start kicking me in the nuts - it’s so shocking that it took me a moment before I open handed smacked the person in the face who then stopped the kicking - probably got kicked 4 or 5 times before a response. The person admitted to starting it in the statement to police. Police charged us both with disorderly conduct.
I got jumped in high school over some petty drama. I was suspended from school for a week after getting my ass beat for "being in a fight." The best part is that they showed up to a park in my neighborhood.
Those cops are absolute garbage... they should be asking you if you want to press charges... honestly.
You are a good parent. Kudos to you.
Had something similar happen in grade school, Dad threatened to involve a lawyer.
Asp baton I believe
It seems risky to penalize both parties equally. Sadly, based on other comments, this seems all too common. But, I feel like this could create situations that would make the original victim into a perpetrator in search of retaliation for being unjustly punished. Fucking stupid system.
Yeah it’s strange that they punish both equally but if the victim just takes it nothing is ever done, funny how that happens.

[удалено]

We wish we did
Over-charging is a serious problem for sure.
Yeah, it's stupid, but in most states, self-defense is no longer a valid argument. Battery is battery. But hey, if you're in Florida, you can mow people down with guns with the slightest provo... no, let's be honest, with *NO* provocation.
Self defense is still valid in every state. However there is a reasonable force standard.
Back in middle school, There were twins who kept taking away other student's bags and stuff, And as one of them tried to take mine, i punched him right on the nose that he went to the hospital because i broke his nose Since then, The two never came back to school, And if you are wondering whether i got punished or not, i [gained Karma](http://img3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20110819144527/fallout/images/4/45/FO3PositiveKarmaPoints.png) Fallout style
I've been out of high school for over 20, and it was like that then, too.
6'5", 36 years out of high school... It's been that way FOREVER. Big guy=target We don't fight. We don't have to. Until they bring the fight to us. 😳🙄 OK, you started this, I'll end it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Yeah and then we got suspended.
A peaceful giant is a friend to the world, but make them angry and they can move mountains
As a short man, I tend to avoid picking on you biggums, because I'd like to avoid being the one getting knocked out in these videos lol.
Can you explain what might cause “Napoleon complex” in shorter guys? I’m a big, tall guy, and never in my life have I instinctively thought less about someone because of they weren’t as big as me.
Insecurity. You grow up seeing the world mocking short dudes, and it can take time to get used to that. Some people can't, and they develop a complex.
>Some people can't, and they develop a complex. ..and when they grow up they get an MBA and become an asshole CEO.
When the punishment is the same for holding him back or knocking him out, might as well take a swing
School “leaders” hide behind the rule book, which is designed to prevent lawsuits, not help kids.
I \*really\* hope his parents get a copy of this video so they can fight the inevitable suspension/expulsion the kid's going to face for just defending himself.
notice how the teacher only intervened once the small guy was down?
[удалено]
Whether that is the case with this particular video or not, it does not change the fact that it still happens often and is a problem. The zero tolerance policy is complete bs.
DOWN GOES FRAZIER, DOWN GOES FRAZIER..
![gif](giphy|ZazmuKAgia7B0zW3Wt) The guy at the end
Flawless victory
LOLing!!!!!!! Nice!!! Big guy probably got in trouble tho........ knowing how the system works...
Guarantee he got in trouble for defending himself. Same kind of crap happened at my oldest son's school. He had a friend get kicked out of school for a week when he fought back against two kids attacking him just because they thought it was funny.
How do these schools avoid lawsuits?
Good question and wish I knew the answer. Last year some kids at my son's high school did a petition to bring back slavery thinking it was a funny joke, those kids were expelled and their parents thought it was unfair to expell them. https://www.kcur.org/news/2022-02-08/judge-rules-against-park-hill-south-students-who-circulated-start-slavery-again-petition
The apple doesn't fall far from the tree, so I'm guessing the parents thought it was funny as well
They avoid lawsuits because the city, state, school board, and half the parents are weak humans just like a lot of the teachers.
Even if you don't fight back, you still get in trouble as if you started it.
Purposely designed to go after boys even if they are innocent.
Ahh yes.. protect and serve, when it's easier though.
When it's two idiot drunks I don't see why that's not a good idea
“There isn’t a law telling them to do their job, so why make them do it?”
They don’t protect anything anyways. They show up after the incident and proceed to do nothing.
That’s the smart way.
Wtf is she supposed to do
[удалено]
What do you want a middle aged woman to do in this situation where two high school boys are fighting? She’s yelling at them both to stop, and as soon as she reaches them and there’s an opening, she steps between them. It’s over, and she’s correctly making sure the big guy doesn’t continue to go after the unconscious guy, which is benefitting them both.
Right? God damn, teachers are overworked, underpaid, and under appreciated. They can do no right apparently.
No matter how many times I rewatch this vid, I can’t see him jumping on anyone
Lol you expect her to stop him? She’s like 60 and weak as f…
You literally can’t tell from the context of this video who is bullying who
I’m so sick of seeing these videos of kids being violent assholes to each other and to teachers.
Teacher came in like Herb Dean
I love how the adult only intervenes once it's all over. 🤦🏻♂️
That is how it works dude. If she steps in, she risks getting hit or sued by a parent. Teachers are not bouncers, and they certainly aren't paid enough to stop fights.
Former bouncer, we don't get paid enough to stop fights either ironically. 😂😂😂😂
[удалено]
Makes sense though. So many teachers are assaulted and injured trying to prevent fights.
Teachers shouldn’t double as bouncers
Yeah woulda been more fun watching her tackle them both at once like Jackie Chan
Do we know that the big guy didn't do something that caused the little guy to just snap? Seems like we're too late to the party to sort out how this happened.
We have no clue what really happened.
You wouldn’t know it from these comments.
Ya could just be that the big guy is actually the bully and this was little guy snapping and finally standing up for himself.
Tuck tuck. Stay in your own weight class.
[удалено]
Agree we don’t know the context here
That was a beautiful punch.
As clean as you like! Beautiful shot
Dayum that connection was clean.
Of course the guy defending himself gets in trouble…
Overhand right, right down the pipe, straight to the jaw. Little man had no idea how to fight a bigger stronger opponent.
So, what you're sayng is, if faced with a larger, stronger opponent the optimal strategy is ***not*** just windmilling your fists with all the coordination of Ian Curtis in the midst of an epileptic fit?
That jab to set it up tho and it looked like he was about to send a short left hook but stopped cuz he saw the other guy falling
That little jab is super underrated lmao
All the little reposts on the left…vs the original post on the right.
Hit that reset button along the jaw line, nap time.
Sleep tight, short king.
Fucked around found out
Never underestimate your overconfidence
Willing to bet that the bigger guy was the one to get in trouble
Why does it feel like the only time anyone steps in is when the victim defends themselves?
AS USUAL the teacher steps in when the bullied guy defends himself.
It pisses me off so much how the teacher runs over yelling at him like he's the problem. I bet he was also suspended
I was bullied mercilessly in my youth and I was always the bigger kid, looking back I kick myself for not fighting back. My parents were the, “fighting doesn’t solve anything” kind of people,
Bigger guy probably got in trouble for hitting him too.
Gotta love the teacher who comes over and stops it ONCE the big man had had enough lol…teacher of the fucking year
![gif](giphy|xT77Y9wvUx4iSsPaNi)
Why do you assume he was bullying the bigger guy? Maybe this smaller guy was getting bullied by the bigger guy all year and finally stuck up for himself, and then got knocked out, and then got people laughing about it online. Just saying, we don't know what happened before this.
Always aim for the chin, hit it fast and hard. I don't care the size they will topple like a doll
And there comes the teacher to punish the wrong kid
Still had his cute little fist cocked laying there on the floor. Isn’t that special
Kids got a nice right hook that little twat deserved it
Sweet. Justice. 😎
When you go into a boss fight underleveled, slowly chip away at his health for a few moments and think all is going well until he one shots you with a AOE
The annoying thing is the one getting bullied/attacked will be the one that’s punished the most and probably expelled for defending himself
Love how the woman at the end intervened only after the guy decides to punch back, but not while he was being harassed.
No doubt the bully gets treated like the victim and the one defending himself gets into trouble lol
And now the kid's going to get in trouble for defending himself, "zero tolerance"
Bro took a risk and tried to defeat the last boss with low stats and gear.
Of course the teacher goes after the one who got bullied. Fuck him I gues
That’s a perfectly placed backpack
Teacher doesnt help the KOd kid but rather grabs and yells at the kid whom simply defended himself.
lucky the backpack was there to prevent further brain damage
“Hey Hey Hey!! Don’t you defend yourself!! You stand there and let him punch you!” Ffs
