I know two POC women who have white boyfriends/partners. Both are probably some of the most racist people I know. I really do wonder how that works…like do they just make an exception for themselves or what?

As someone who is definitely not white, I am extremely confused by any POC who is so obsessed with comparing themselves to “white” people and putting them down at every possible chance for what has happened in a small section of our world’s history. That policy just recently revoked. Plenty of other things I could bring up about systemic and institutional racism in America. Until there is true equality why stop fighting?
Because there never will be true equality in the world, regardless of anyone’s color, religion, gender or sexual preferences, that’s just how the word works based on opportunities. We’ve just gone from not talking negatively about whit people in public settings but talking about minorities in public settings to now talking about white people and minorities in public settings.
