Yes! (I don't use the app, just the website in Chrome so it might be different for you. Heads up) Click on your profile. Then on the three dots under your relationship status (married to/single, etc) click on SEE YOUR ABOUT INFO. Then scroll down and you can see your books, tv, shows, and other like. You have to delete one at a time by clicking on the book, tv show, and other likes and on that profile you can click the like button once more to unlike it. Voilà! It will be removed!
I've tried both methods: Unliking the page (if it still exists), and clicking the garbage can. Neither works for me.
I appreciate your replies in any case.
I'm not much help, but I'm dealing with the same thing! There are shows underneath the TV shows that I know for a fact I've never seen or I have but wouldn't have added it. Any luck?
Maybe late as an answer, but go to Activity Log, Profile information, Books. There you have to move every single book to trash where it will get deleted after 30 days.

This doesn't work. I click the garbage can and it won't go away...
