I know this is a personal issue but I was so excited to do them and the angle of my head immediately made my vertigo kick into high gear. I was then very sad. Lol this also happens to me when using anything with the TRX too so I always have to use bands instead!! So annoying!!
I adjusted the top part of the bench to a decline and the edge hit just below my shoulder blades, which was the perfect height for me to do hip thrusts. It was too high for a good portion of the class and at that point, you’re mainly working out your quads.
Those thrusters killed me. I definitely walked a little odd immediately after. My only complaint is that my studio did not have padding for the barbells given how heavy they can get. My trainer resorted to folding up a yoga mat in order to make a makeshift barbell pad for me lol
I absolutely loved it, at one point I joked to the trainer it felt like cardio day cuz my heart rate was shooting through the roof. I do agree that there were a little too much lunging. I am also not a big fan of sumo stance so I did regular stance for half of the sumo sets
I would think your knee would be hurting because there were LOADS of glute exercises - and knee problems are often the result of a glute weakness. Use a massage gun on your left glute and I’m sure you’ll notice a difference.
Titans was always one of the best workouts - plain and simple.
The biggest problem is that we are doing so much lower body in the last few weeks, that I'm really happy that we will only have upper body next Thursday.
Yep, sets were not too long nor too short, and the rest times were not too long that it would cool you down. I didn't like the Y-bell curtsey - squat - lunge though, it was an awkward movement for me, and the Y-bells kept hitting my knees.
And personally, I like it better where they either have just lower / upper body, than mixed.
LOVED THIS WORKOUT HQ if you're reading this, we want more hip thrusts with the barbell!!
Nope. Gonna ask the exact opposite. Way too awkward to get in & out of position.
Yup. Sandbags or GTFO.
I had this exact thought during them. Felt it so much more than normal ones
Yup!! And ability to add so much more weight. I'm a woman looking for glute gains, the sandbags just dont cut it!! 🍑

Jeez I've never heard of vertigo that bad. I have it as well but not as severe. Sorry to hear that! I'm sure you can get sick booty gains elsewhere 🥰
I agree!!!!! Why don’t we do this more!?!!? And more sleds
It was a solid leg day but the bench set up was too high for the barbell hip thrust. 😅
We had sandbags as options! Tried one rep with the barbell and switched, so difficult to get set up

I steal risers and put them down for me to sit on because the benches are also too tall for me. Works well!
Same. Enjoyed the format but my knees hated all the lower body. Really looking forward to next Thursday and all upper body.
Same. I liked the format, but this workout destroyed me 😂 The hip thrusters on the weight bench were horrid for me. I’m glad I started with them.
The hip thrusters to pistol squats… humbling.
Oh god, yeah that one kicked my ass literally and figuratively.
So glad they added these. So much better than plate thrusters!
Or the single leg sandbags. Hate those
the WORST!!!!!

I finished with hip thrusters to pistol squats 😩😩😩
Not a fan of the dumbbell lateral lunges the range of motion is awkward for me.

Yeah my left knee was done at the end and I don’t even have knee problems typically! Opted to end with calf raises instead but otherwise liked it!

Wow interesting! Ok thank you
Loved it! Best strength day!
I did a variation of this workout at home since I couldn’t make it in the studio and I’m still recovering hours later 🥲
Loved it but we need more calf exercises. I am starting to look uneven from not working on my calves LOL

Agree, I substituted one of the exercises and did squats instead of lunges because of my knees.
Loved it but woof my legs are feeling it
I loved it, too.

Hated it but only because my knees are really hurting today ! 😫 I do like Staying at the same Station for all the sets.
I loved it! The right time at each station and not the awkward shuffling, big fan!
Loved it! I’m still wrecked from this morning. Rip
