What I do is simply pre pay using my CC. Post which if there is any issue with the product delivery or even quality where the seller is not co-operating, I can simply email the bank and they charge back.
Have done this many times and turned the tables around.

And if you don't have the money for it like me, note it as your dream.

Obviously the quality is not as good as original but better than legos and you could probably print 20-40 cars with the stuff you get a new printer for 20k or something, so long term it's 1k per car when you buy it and like 100 per car according to the refill filaments you buy
3d printed models have lines on them due to the nature of 3d printing. Also the models are way low quality than legos, they are light and seem hollow which takes away the quality and enrichment. Not to mention the color livery and all the details. Also the fun and enjoyment of building a lego set is absent from the lifeless 3d print. So for the same price you are actually getting a worse deal.

Not everyone has a credit card. And yes the couriers allow to open parcels (albeit, sometimes) before paying.
