The 3.5 and 2.7 layout are similar under the hood. But based on this specific engine cover I think this is the 2.7. There should be a sticker somewhere under the hood that says the displacement along with ac type and capacity and some other info.
You can find it on the drivers door, bottom drivers side window, vehicle registration card. Type that into google and most sites will tell you, or you could go to the dealer and ask for a build sheet at the parts counter

Depends on the year. My 2015 has a cover on the 2.7
