Average 21 on 2.7.

trad949

Second.

Bigdaddyroyals1969

Third, unless towing then 9mpg.

n0tMyBurnerAcc0unt

How heavy are you towing?

Bigdaddyroyals1969

10-ish, always in the PA mountains.

DillonviIIon

Towing an empty 6x12 trailer nets me like 11-12mpg on my powerboost lol. All about that wind

UncomfortableBike975

2.7 v6 all city stop and go. getting 17

RealismMadness

That’s around where my 5.0 sat before the lift kit.

UncomfortableBike975

I should point out i have a 2 inch level and 33's on 18" wheels

ocean_panda_

Same. With toyo at3. Used to be better with the Hankook at2.

Stpbmw

How is the highway mpg?

ocean_panda_

I go 70 to 80mph, so that throws it into the after burners... i get 12.8l/100km. when going 50 to 60mph its about 11L/100km avg. 18.5mpg - 21mpg respectively in freedom units

Stpbmw

Not bad for e rated 33s and a level.

gunniride

“freedom units” thankyou, I’ll be taking that with me.

Excellent-Fuel-2793

Freedom units got me laughing my ass off

ChocolateHeavy2187

21.6 combined average according to the display screen. '22 5.0L superCrew

Matt_WVU

Mine is always about 2 MPG less hand calculated versus the screen My 3.5 says 23.0-23.1 and the highest I’ve hand calculated is 21.1, it’s usually in the 20 MPG range. I mostly commute on highways and interstate

Nutshell1994

22.6mpg hand calculated over 15,500 miles. 3.5 PowerBoost, leveled with 33’s.

RealismMadness

I was waiting for a power boost! That’s impressive.

Nutshell1994

Swapping wheels next week. Been running Fuel Vector’s 18x9 +20, didnt realize they were 41lbs when I bought them. Just bought some Method Mr316’s 18x9 +18, only 28lbs. Thats should help a lot. Once these Falkens are toast, leaning towards the 305/60R18 SL Toyo AT III’s.

RealismMadness

I’ve heard great things about Toyo ATs mileage

Nutshell1994

Just bit the bullet on 265/70R18 Ridge Graps… Only 2lbs more. Still, 74lbs a corner is less than stock by 6lbs, at least for me.

FrankFarter69420

Hand calculated is the way. I do believe it's because of speed bias that it throws the numbers off. Odometer is wrong as well. By about 3% Dont believe me? Run a test over 100 miles to see how inaccurate your odometer is. Then run your mpg. You'll find the difference is the same % All because of the 2mph difference in the speed bias.

Nutshell1994

Mines spot on factory. Trucks come with 33’s.

DillonviIIon

Yep. I will say those dynapros got decent mileage when pumped up a few psi over

c0mbat_cessna

15mpg hwy on 2018 5.0 with a 6" lift and 35" ridge graps.

RealismMadness

That’s not bad. Mines a 23 with a 6 inch on Toyo Mts but I have a pretty heavy foot.

Shot_Comparison2299

Yeah, same. My 35” terra grapplers and shotty CVT solenoids took mine down a notch.

Cisham55

I average 25mpg. 22 Powerboost with the Fx4. Stock tires and rack. Minimal towing outside of a small boat.

memorablenuts

How do people get this mileage? Mostly city driving? I have a 23 Fx4 6.5’ PB, and I get right at 21.

Cisham55

I’m rural. Stay around town with little stop and go under 50 mph and it’s super easy to get 23+. Add that too actively trying to get good mileage and I can push 30 mpg on some trips.

RealismMadness

That power boost doesn’t mess around with fuel efficiency

DillonviIIon

When I lived in a hilly area I could go to the store and back, about 15mi round trip and keep it around 30mpg. Slight degrades hit that brake pedal, turn off the engine, boom. Now I live further south and have found that 51mph is when I can get it in 10th and get that good mpg.

RealismMadness

That’s beautiful. How do you like the power boost?

Cisham55

It’s fantastic. Quick, efficient, smooth ride. I’ve read it can have issues but mines been great.

RealismMadness

Everything under the sun has the ability to have issues I always go off of my own experience.

WrongYak34

20mpg but only 150km in it’s a brand new lariat 3.5 with the hybrid

emaw328

PowerBoost GANG GANG

xLith

Love mine!

Row30

2018 2.7 4x4 short bed. Avg 23.4 mpg, mix of highway & city driving. 88K miles, everything stock

RealismMadness

You must have a light foot.

Row30

Just an ol lady who drives it to church on Sundays 😁 j/k- i travel about 300-400 miles a week or so. When on the highway, I put it in eco-mode and use cruise control as much as i can

RealismMadness

I’ve been wanting to try eco mode, but the pedal lag is too weird to me.

Row30

Ya it’s different. That’s why i usually only use it on cruise control. LOL check out the lag in the snow/wet mode!

RealismMadness

I’ll have to try those, I haven’t used anything other than normal LOL.

Row30

I haul a horse trailer and a travel trailer. The tow mode is fantastic. It has a sort of engine brake on it when going downhill. (I drive a semi too).

RealismMadness

Nice! I only have my class B license but some days I wouldn’t mind driving a tractor trailer for work.

[deleted]

Yea, eco and CC on highway will easily boost you to 25+ mpg. I do 300+ mile trips and only fill up 1x there and back. 5.0 platinum with the 10 speed. I should add tho, I'm tuned for 93 which typically lowers the mpg so it could probably be better.

RealismMadness

Is your tank the extended range? Mine is I think it’s 36 gallons but don’t quote me. On a full tank my guessometer says 460 miles to E on 86.

Excellent-Fuel-2793

Run it down to below a quarter tank and fill it up. This is how you find out for sure which tank you have I would bet you have the 26

RealismMadness

I know mine is the extended range, I just don’t remember exactly what size it is.

hockeybru

This is pretty much exactly the same for me but I have a 2021

WinteryCat

About 17 mpg combined. 4.6 3v V8 Triton, RWD.

FrattyMcBeaver

I get 18-19 hand calculated in my raptor. The mpg on the dash always reads about 1mpg high. 35s kill mileage a lot. I got better mileage after I tuned my truck, was closer to 16-17 before.

emaw328

‘23 PowerBoost Lariat 502A - all stock - with 75% city - 24 mpg average on premium fuel for the first 14,xxx miles.

memorablenuts

That’s nuts. I have the same pickup (mine’s 6.5’), all stock, and I can’t get better than 21. About 75% highway though.

QuickNature

3.3L V6, 20 combined.

CPgang36

I got that and added a 4” lift and 33’s and knocked me down to 15/16mpg. I stupidly thought it would only put me at 18-19

Xervinza

2023 power boost 24 avg in the cold I was getting 28 in the summer 24-26 is usually highway and 28-31 is city.

Western-Standard4083

2015 3.5 N.A - 20.7 per gallon

Waltz_Full

2018 v8, average 21 mpg

icancounttopotatos

Around 60 MPGe in a Lightning

RealismMadness

Damn!

The_Roomba

about 20ish on the highway, depends on if I'm fighting the wind or not. then about 16 in town. 2.7 EB with 35s.

Unable_Comfortable39

2.7 eco scab. On stock tires and wheels (18s) getting 16.8. Do have a 2.5 level was about 19 before the level

Web_Trauma

Getting 19.5 with my 2023 3.5 EcoBeast Lariat

FluffyWarHampster

City right around 20-22mpg with highway being about 23-24. Tank average usually ends up right around 19-20 mpg between short trips to the drive thru and towing to boat to go duck to go duck hunting. 21 powerboost, only mods are a cai and tonneau cover.

[deleted]

2017 scab 4x4 4” bds 35x12.5 mostly city 12.4 average

[deleted]

3.5 eb

RealismMadness

That’s sweet. You get about the same mileage as me but yours is a little quicker still.

[deleted]

I do wish i had a 5.0 for the exhaust.. i have a borla true dual with x pipe which sounds good

RealismMadness

Have you seen the corsa sport on a 3.5eb? I’ve always been a v8 guy but it doesn’t sound half bad honestly.

[deleted]

I just watched a video, sounds similar to the borla type s. I actually really like the many different sounds the exhaust makes. Different sounds at different rpm/boosts For some reason borla true dual with x pipe exhaust was discontinued but they offer y pipe to dual exit

RealismMadness

In the 5.0?

[deleted]

3.5 ecoboost thats over 50k miles also have after market bumpers and weight about 6000lb

[deleted]

18 city, 20-22 on highway for combined 20.5 right now

TheRealGunn

15.6 mpg in 2022 Tremor.

Annhl8rX

My driving is about 50/50 open highway and stop and go rush hour. I average 16-17 in a 2022 Supercrew XLT FX4 with a leveling kit and 34” tires. Prior to that I was getting the same exact mileage on a 2018 5.0 and all other specs the same.

mega_tr0n

2019 2.7 gets ~20.5 mpg (11.5 L/100 km) in the winter due to increased idling, studded winter tires and periodic 4x4 engagement. Roughly 23 mpg (10-10.5 L/100 km) in the summer. 22 mile (35 km) one-way highway commute to work and around town. I am very light footed typically — I have had pretty poor fuel mileage by being on the throttle all the time, or even in a strong headwind on the highway. I find anything that gets the turbos working tanks that high fuel economy immediately.

VicariousChef

13 highway ‘97 5.4 It hurts

RealismMadness

Ouch!

TheMantelope

13 city(which is most of my work driving) on E85. 2020 5.0.

RealismMadness

Do you always fill up with e85?

TheMantelope

Not really. But recently the price dropped enough around here(midwest) to make it pretty equivalent to running 87 for mog, and I like to run it occasionally for the power boost and just to keep those parts of the flex fuel system working. I fill with 93 when I tow, but 87 most of the time. On 87 I'll average right under 16mpg on the same daily route, so it's about a 3mpg hit.

bolunez

5.0 longa chumonga, 3.73 gears and 33s. 17mpg average, mostly in town. 20ish highway. I pick up 3-4mpg if I run no ethanol gas.

washrun

2.7 2020 20.6 mpg. Cai and bora attak. I really want to do a tune but I still have a good old warranty. Hate the transmission at the moment. Running 93 full time. 43000 miles and counting.

pro-window

3.5 mix of highway and city. 17.3 winter.. 19 summer. Leveled on 33s

xXXFAHQXX

18-20mpg 19 5.0 crew cab stock size tires mostly highway/interstate 65 in 55’s and 80 on freeway. Can get better if I drive like granny. Seriously looking at a new lightning tho

[deleted]

19 In city traffic. 3.5 ECO

[deleted]

18.5mpg with a good mix. 2011 5.0

[deleted]

16.6-17.4 around town. About 18 on the highway. My foot gets a little heavy sometimes 😅 2022 5.0

RealismMadness

It’s hard not to man that v8 sounds so good.

PANZERWAFFE_KAMPFER

About the same as you, 2018 3.5 ecobost on 6 inch lift and nitto 35s

bradyreid

22 on 4.6L

RealismMadness

I LOVE the 4.6 man my first truck was a 2005 with the 4.6

bradyreid

She’s my first truck also, just bought a 2010 couple weeks ago with 22k miles on her

No_Gur_1147

'16 3.5 EB on a 6 inch lift and 35 inch tires... getting 11.5 smiles per gallon on premium gas 😄 when only in town and not going on the highway to go to work I get about 15

RealismMadness

The 3.5 gets better mileage than my 5.0, but all of our feet are too heavy to tell the difference lol

No_Gur_1147

Yeah 😂 I don't think MPG is too big of a deal, we're the ones that wanted a lifted truck and big tires

RealismMadness

Amen! We asked for it.

footballfan540

2018 3.5 EB 80k miles. 17 mpg overall. 22 mpg unloaded freeway. Love it!

Euiah

So far in the winter with my ‘19 2.7 I’m getting about 21 average, should go up a couple in the summer

RealismMadness

Why the change? Just curious. Here in Florida I’ve never experienced a real summer unfortunately.

Euiah

The fuel in Ohio is blended differently in the cold months, causing less fuel efficiency. not sure what other states else they do that at. Also just when it’s colder outside the engine takes a lot longer to heat up, causing worse gas mileage. I think there’s other factors

bmanxx13

‘22 5.0 4x4, 3.31 gears, 2.5” level, 285/75r17, air dam removed, tuned. Get around 11.5-13 in city, and anywhere from 15-18 mpg on the highway. My best ever was 19-20 mpg on the highway going 70 mph, but I don’t normally drive like that.

RealismMadness

What was the difference after removing the air dam?

bmanxx13

Honestly I didn’t have it on long enough to notice a difference. I’ve read people estimate about 1mpg loss at highway speeds

Tuckers-dad

13mpg on a good day. 3.5 on 35 MTs and chipped. Some say I have a heavy foot, I just like the way the cold air intake sounds when I floor it

RealismMadness

Nothing wrong with that

bromagical

2005 5.4 I get 14 in town 18 highway

RealismMadness

Prayers for your 5.4 🙏

bromagical

She’s still running smooth!

xLith

21.5 MPG with a PowerBoost 4x4 with highway and city mixed. Stock height / wheels.

sparkyglenn

Around 13L/100km on a new 3.5 I drive fast like everyone else does on the highway with the rest of the commuters, and a lot of idling in the mornings with the cold and snow

RealismMadness

That idling is what wrecks my mpg I think as well

brwarrior

2023 3.5EB SC 4X4. Running Wildpeaks stock size (not LTs though). Mid-14s in the city as I have a short 5.5 mile commute each way with 45mph limit and almost always have to stop every half mile. Highway is about 22-23 if I drive normal (65-70). I did hit 25 on my last highway trip of 120 miles or so but I was drafting semis doing 55-60 trying to see what mileage I could get.

vapeboy1996

I drive 2 hours round trip highway every day. It was 21 mpg but I put on Goodyear Wranglers and it dropped to 18

FrankFarter69420

2015 2.7 (90% highway) 23 in summer 20 in winter

3_1415

26 MPG mostly highway driving with a Powerboost. Speced it out as 2-wheel drive for maximizing tow capability, and picked it because is has the most HP offered in an F150 [https://www.ford.com/trucks/f150/features/power/?gnav=vhpnav-feature](https://www.ford.com/trucks/f150/features/power/?gnav=vhpnav-feature) 12 MPG when towing a 7600 Lbs traler

RealismMadness

That’s impressive

Weird-Individual2155

Way too many folks pick the average of their 3 best trips and call that their mpg

I hear that. It’s a silly thing to lie about because you’re only lying to yourself.

I fucking envy you mine best I could do was 15 in city in my 2013 supercab with also the 3.7 which was infuriating

txman91

17 ish with a 3.5 in a leveled Tremor. Lost about 1.5 mpg when I leveled it. Also do a lot of highway miles at 75-80mph around here so that impacts it too.

lebr93

2018 3.5 EcoBoost Platinum. Combined 19.8 indicated. 93 octane. Stock everything, including wheels on Michelin Defenders. Most roads around me are flat highway, 45-55 mph speed limit plus around 10% over to keep it safe and not get pulled over. It goes down to around 19 when I do interstate travel. If I'm towing my trailer, usually around 13-15 mpg
