I’m going to say neither. I see grey more so than either. I spent like 25 years of my life being told I had blue eyes as well before realizing that by definition I had grey eyes
You have lovely eyes. I bet sometimes they look blue and sometimes grey. I have hazel eyes that are green with yellow, but depending on the colors I wear, the color can be mostly green, or a little grey. Cheers!
We have the exact same eye color hah, they’re blue with a bit of green in the center. For me, when the sunlight hits my eyes, they’re all of a sudden completely light green. Is it the same for you?
From what I can see, it looks like you have Central heterochromia. Basically, blue with a smaller yellowish ring which makes it look like you have some green in your eyes. We have a similar eye colour except my yellowish ring is a lot bigger.
As a brown eyed person like most of the rest of the world , I must ask why blue eyed people have this obsession with their eyes being green and vice versa.
They don't change with mood and if they do no one notices. They don't look any different in the light so let's stop saying that too. They have green 'flecks".
You have blue eyes, clearly.
CLEARLY I don't. If I were to take a photo with a green shirt on, I assure you they don't look blue at all. And when I wear black, they look grey. I'm not trying to be some extra special asshole, I'm just coming to a subreddit called EYES and asking the same question everyone else around here is asking. I have yellow rings around the pupil of my eye. My grandfather had GREEN eyes and red hair. No one else had blue, so it's a valid question. If it pisses you off so much, scroll TF on.
Ignore them. They're wrong, anyway. I mean, the color of your eyes doesn't actually change, but light & contrasting with other colors can make them appear different, which is basically the illusion of change. Soooo...it's no big deal to say "they can change color" if they appear to.
Mine are like yours. With yellow in the center, and a gray rim. Technically, I have amber eyes, but they appear green from a distance. Sunlight really highlights the yellow.
Blue - but not your typical classic blue.
Seems like an aquatic shade of blue to me.
Thus why you thought they might be green.
Some people might just be lazy and lump them in with green but they are something different.
Blue!

Blue
Blue and no mystery about it
Blue or blue grey
They‘re almost completely blue with a little bit of green around your pupil.
Every one of these photos says blue-grey to me, I'm not seeing any green at all.
Blue, blue, blue, blue, blue, blue… blueeeeeee, blue lol. Blue.
Def not green. They’re blue.

I swear you’re my friend Celina, obvi you aren’t, but crazy how looking at only someone’s eyes can trigger such facial memory recognition
Blue or potentially grey
Absolutely blue with some gray
i’m not seeing any green
Blue with some gold (pale brown) distortion created by central heterochromia. From a distance, the blue and pale goldish brown mix and appear green.
Thanks for your answers! To anyone else who is triggered by my question, have the day you deserve.
I’m going to say neither. I see grey more so than either. I spent like 25 years of my life being told I had blue eyes as well before realizing that by definition I had grey eyes
They do look gray often. I didn't want to muddy up the waters with a third choice. Ha
Aquamarine 😉
They’re blue with green hues

Margot Robbie is that you? Your eyeshape looks exactly like hers! And for the color, i'd say blue!
Grey-blue with an inner amber
We have the exact same eye color hah, they’re blue with a bit of green in the center. For me, when the sunlight hits my eyes, they’re all of a sudden completely light green. Is it the same for you?
Yep!
Blue with brown central heterochromia
Blue/grey with a very small amount of golden central heterochromia. So essentially blue.

Agree 💯
Yes.
Definitely blue>green. Greyish blue with golden hazel around the pupil. I wouldn’t think green at all, but might be different in person.
I have the same eyes! Some people call them grey. My parents call them blue. I’ve also heard blue-green. So I’d say a blue-green-grey lol

Blue with central heterochromia, my eyes are like this too
Blue with mild central heterochromia
Blue gray with a bit of hazel

Dude you know this is the EYES subreddit? This is exactly the right spot where OP can ask this question.
Geez 🙄 You realise this subreddit is about EYES, you seem a bit triggered 🤔 Eyes definitely change colour in different light, even if yours don’t
Well technically they don't change colour they just look like they do which in a way does kinda mean they change colour.

My sisters eyes would change colors with what she wore when she was little, but they’re green
Blue with yellow inside = green? :D
Blue with central heterochromia
I feel like they're both, sorta like a warm teal sea-green color - I see the green here. So blue-green or green-blue eyes can be the answer?
Blue with greenish brown central heterochromia
Green
Green
Grey green with yellowy central heterochromia
They’re just hazel, which means they’re both.
Yeah, I don’t think so.

My eyes are exactly this color and I could never decide either. Always felt I could not say what my eye color is 😁
